As a Nyx lover, that 1 jump they've allowed me when I use Assimilate is my absolute favorite. I like all the changes, but that one just tickles my pickle. Being also a lover of Prowling Ivara, I can move Assimilate Nyx in a way that you'd begin to doubt my movement is even limited at all. And the 1999 tileset is perfect for it too. I was also thinking about Singularity. There's legit no way to make it work now that Absorb is duration based and Singularity's vacuum works in intervals. I think that augment would need a complete rework. But other than that.... Bro, I am ecstatic with the Nyx changes and this new 1999 content (aesthetics, music, vibes). I love it.
You mentioned the non crit incarnon builds not working with nyx because of her new passive which is true, but now you can build into crit on those weapons and get those sweet red crits. Crit laetum + nyx + cascadia accuracy go brrr
the millions of dmg from the absorb explosion is entirely from the jade eximus stacking up damage insanely fast.. to be fair when im playing gauss and i see a jade light get stuck on me and my 4 is charged / 2 is active.. ill just stand still and start spamming the living hell out of his 3 because the insane heat damage just gets converted into energy forever because of his 2nd ability. doing the same thing to get comically large amount of overguard on rhino, or ward on nezha is also a great idea
I do find myself sitting there wherever I have the jade light over me while in Absorb. It doesn't seem to absorb all that much though. In my experience, it seems like it's the grenades that easily get you into the millions
@JackAero the longer you stay in it the higher the value gets. So if you stay in it for the first few seconds then activate your ability you'll get alot more damage redirected
I just started using her today properly as I got her assimilate augment off of someone and subsumed mind control for ophanum eyes for more armour strip….being invincible and just stripping everything’s armour just makes more funny numbers for my brain to go OOG so I’m glad she got some love
Imo, she went from being a decent, underrated frame to completely OP, on the level of Octavia and Revenant, where the game starts playing itself. ...It's beautiful
I don't really have a main warframe, but here is my view. I initially grinded nyx some time before her rework and I didn't like her at all. Aside from not having the mods I have now (early game), I struggled to have fun with her. So much so that after I got to lvl 30, I cast her aside for other frames. After rework: Dear lord, she's fun. She is one of the few frames so far that I don't mind regrinding levels.
Thanos Prime is too good to not use - paired with Okina Incarnon passive speed buff and the heavy attack speed buff, and parkour mods, AND magus anomaly, slow movement is a non-issue. I tried a high strength, high energy (quick thinking), arcane guardian, arcane avenger, adaptation, Eclipse DR for a bit. Not as comfy as Thanos prime, but at least more viable.

If you use Wrathful Advance while in Assimilate, you get double-jumps afterwards. Just sayin'.
Given 1999 is Warframe's Dark Sector in canon, the only other viable skin for Nyx now, besides her Gemini, is Nemesis.

I thought with very little power (130%?) strength she can fully strip or at least 90%. Ophanim eyes sees redundant?
Yeah, I just use two tauforged crimson archon shards so I always have that 100% strip, no matter what else I have modded.

Nyx is amazing but i hate how i am barely able to use the absorb nuke if you are in a squad cuz everything dies so quickly

It's tied to her energy colour. It tends to revert back to the default purple in low lighting though
