After booking in 2019,cancelled twice because of covid and me watching your lockdown blogs,then our passports running out in 2022,we finally got to alcudia in July 2023 during the heatwave, I finally made it to the top of the mountain,I followed your video for directions haha,maybe one day when we come back I’ll see you for a chat walking about,great place great videos Andrew 😊
We were there last week, got back yesterday. Parts of the strip area was filthy, not what I’d expected as lots of people have told me how nice Alcudia is. Can’t fault the port area as that was immaculate. But sadly, I think you’re right, the “journey” was better than the destination. 😞
@@lovinglifemallorca that’ll be good 👍 as I say, we enjoyed it but we were disappointed with how filthy parts of the strip were, which is why we got the bus down to the port area. I was also shocked how early all the bars/restaurants close, quite weird in its own way, places packed out with people and everyone enjoying themselves and then all of a sudden the music goes off and it’s goodnight, Adios amigos… I’m sure you’ll keep us updated with the upgrades 👍

Quick question are we able to get a jar of peanut butter in the supermarket, my granddaughter’s favourite. Thanks again for all your help Andrew.
Just back from calas de mallorca. Visited alcudia...afraid to say it's so run down....aswell as the so called town in calas it's a dive....I love mallorca but I will not be back I've spoke to other holiday makers and they have said they same....its a shame... .ur going to run out of things to do soon.. .come back to the uk....all the best il still support you but I just feel the island is doomed
Yes Alcúdia is run down in areas but the council/government are spending millions of euros over the winter doing the strip area up,, I’m excited to see now it looks I’ve seen the impression mind looking forward to the finishing product.
What a miserable person you sound. I am fortunate to own an apartment in Puerto Alcudia by the beach for the last 30 years and it has never been more busting and clean. Stick to your caravan In Blackpool, it’s spotless.
