Trying to get to Long Beach CA,| Stuck in Dallas for 10 hours| Best Taco's Ever!

- Heading to Long Beach CA for a BUS Convention. Got stuck in Dallas Fort Worth for 10 hours because of Icing conditions. I guess Dallas isn't used to icing and they did not have enough De Icing Trucks to service the airport. Finally made it after a 10 hour delay. The Taco Truck outside of my hotel made it all worth while though. this is Episode 1 of my trip to Long Beach CA.

Make sure next time you're in Long Beach go to Baja Sonora a couple blocks east of the airport. Best burritos in the country hands down. I used to fly through LGB multiple times a week when I worked at an airline. One of my favorite cities in the country.

I have flown on that 3 row Bombardier out of St. louis. We were delayed because they needed volunteers from the first 3 rows to move to the back of the plane to even out the weight. I was in row 4. No one wanted to change seats. took 20 minutes to finally convince a couple people to move.
Oh man that would have frustrated me 🤣
To wait that long you should have driven to la is only a 12 hour drive from Dallas scenic I-10 and good food along the way

Dallas is not prepared for ice but you may have been sitting in Chicago they were getting the same weather but better prepared for it.
Yes True. I looked up Chicago flights while I was sitting on the plane and they were showing no delays and cancellations at that time. Made me wish I went to ORD instead of DFW

Taco trucks are awesome in Southern California..I miss that great Mexican Food in San Diego. & So. Cal in general. Horchata is so good....Rice milk.. Trust James it IS better than it sounds! Looking forward to the next video!

Regional Planes Are the worst I had to spend 3 hours in one from Detroit to San Antonio it was not fun!

Hey James, by any chance was that flight out of DFW on February 23rd? That day I was also stuck on a plane at DFW trying to get to San Diego and had to wait for 4 1/2 hours to get de-iced, they wouldn’t let us off the plane nor did they offer us any refreshments. Not fun.
Yes! That was the day. We probably walked by each other and didn't even know it! LOL I'm sorry you had to go through the same thing. It was brutal sitting on a cramped plane for so long. If we ran the bus industry the same way airlines operate, the public would be so mad at us.
