"Bad Bananas" are Good Bananas

  • People are quick to toss bananas! Usually bananas are eaten before they are ripe.
    When you allow bananas to ripen fully, you get simple sugars instead of starch. It's easier to digest and turn into glycogen (think of it as the human equivalent to gas in your car).
    Do a test, eat bananas when they're yellow and/or still a little green. Then, at another meal, eat them when they're banana bread ripe. See how you feel afterward and let me know in the comments :)

    They are great sautéed with butter. It makes any banana considered too ripe taste grea4. If you cook them right they will caramelize and it's as good as candy but far more nutritious.

      Good god Jamie you must be joking or you’re not familiar with how us fruitarian Type vegans eat bananas. Hint: we ain’t cook ‘em 😏😉 and you BUTTER be talking about a VEGAN butter, such as myoko’s delicious cultured oat milk butter

    Well, there are far more people that use butter. You could use coconut oil.sorry to disappoint you.
