Hard to explain, what looks like the first hop is pretty much picking up the slack in the line, you want to feel the weight of the lure and bounce the weight of the lure twice, if that makes sense, not really hoping the lure when there’s slack in the line. That’s my “go to” retrieve when using the SWIMCRAB or fishing for things like Jew fish
