Trophy Creek Fish | How To Drift With Soft Plastics
The Season has changed over night, Spring can be a hard time to fish, northerly winds can make it feel like summer, Strong southerly’s can make it feels like winter.
Changing tactics with the wind direction in my opinion is the most important element to success this time of year.
I also go through my drifting technique that I use when chasing Mulloway.
Our original and still best selling lure at HOLT PRODUCTIONS, 3” SWIMPRAWN in “White Spot” get a work over in trying conditions.

This was a fun one! we head out and find a Crab species on the headlands around SEQ and replicate it into the SWIMCRAB range for testing, the results in tough conditions from a big fresh water flush in the local systems were outstanding! Not when I’m fishing for Jew fish on good tides, when the fishing get tough I’ll definitely throw some on, or when fishing for things like Bream and retrieving the lure slower, I feel that the fish in the deeper stronger current don’t have enough time, they have to either commit hard or leave it

Good tips for that 1% of fishermen with the boat, casting deck, electric etc etc
Alot of the things I am talking about a relate back to boat fishing, however, most of these techniques will help with land based fishing and kayak fishing relating to casting angles, lure retrieval and fish habits on wind changes

Normally 8lb braid and 10lb leader does the trick, with Jew around rocks and if there’s sharks about, 10lb braid, 20lb leader

Hey jame good video I always love watching keep it up any tips for jewfish or jack on lures because I have a boat and I’m willing to catch some jewfish I have your lure so yeah good job
use the same technique he does working the lure, fish full moon, new moon and tide change is good so outgoing tide is best. if bite is tuff use lighter line, scent and downsize the lure
I thoroughly enjoyed this one Holty! It’s incredible how many species came from the one section of river. Noosa is truely a special water way and that new colour SLAYS!
