It's kind of sad. So many questions to be answered yet the developers already moved on. When I listen to this piece, that's all I can think about. Stories that were to be told but never were, adventures that could have been but never happened.
I had thought at least one or two of the original devs endorsed the "get MegaMan off the moon" campaign and said they'd work on it if it made goals. (Edit) Yeah, no. It was officially endorsed by ~capcom~ not just a couple of Devs. I can't say it's advertising was great (especially it's, non-existent, english advertising, fair though games sold poorly) as I only found it due to being a pretty big fan. I have vague memories of my older brother playing Megaman Legends. But they were too vague for me to remember much. But this music makes me feel somehow at home. It's weirdly nostalgic. I wasn't even into Megaman at that time. It wasn't until I was 11 when I actually got into the games for myself. I really liked Roll Caskett then, you could even say I had a crush on her. People trash on Legends a lot but I still love it.
My little brother was about 3 when I got this game as a kid and he'd sit next to me in awe as we adventured the world together. I miss those days but cherish the memories.
Is it just me does this sound suspiciously like MacArthur Park by Richard Harris? Perhaps not in the same way that the Museum is Air or Juno's fight music, which are both gorgeous Bach pieces, but I... think I can hear it. Maybe? Maybe not.

I miss this game so much! I'd always feel I was apart of the game every time I played it. This was my very, very first video game as a kid :)
I’m replaying both games right now. And all my childhood nostalgia has been revitalized.
How many years has it been? It's 2022 now and our beloved Megaman Volnutt is still in the moon. 😭😭😭
At this point, I prefer to believe that he eventually got rescued, it just won't be revealed in a game.
