I'm definitely getting all 3 of the 500 series. I'm also getting the Boss EQ-200 - So many sound possibilities.

Great info here. I Love my DD-500. I do some live Reggae / Dub, and need my: Delays to be Tempo-locked . . . and this unit does it all. I will never need another delay pedal. It's so versatile. oNe LoVe from NYC

How do you make them sound analog, especially the MD500?

Can you make it so the DD-500 can have A/B/C as presets and then possibly turn on all 3, while using a separate tap tempo control? Or possibly turn on A and C while still being able to bank up and down?

How do I assign MIDI channel on the Boss 500 series? I'm so new to this and there's not any example on this on youtube on the Boss-500 pedals on where/how to do this and the manual doesn't say anything about it either. I'm not gonna dig in to the advanced stuff on the E'8 or the Boss-500 pedals. I bought it only to retrieve patch setting from differn't presets. I wonder if you could make a simple video with multiple boss pedals on how to do this.

the insert loop on the MD-500 is really interesting. But where is it? where do you plug it?? Does the CTL/EXP output become the loop with a Y cable??

Ok I found a video that answers my question. You plug the guitar in the A input and plug your amp in the B output. pedal in is plugged in B input and pedal out is plug in A output. you have to turn on the loop mode in the system's menu. pedal becomes mono, sadly...
