They're easy once you get the knack of them, I used to find certain areas of the fret board were easier than others, but as your technique improves you can get them anywhere to a certain degree.

loomis and laiho are on their way to becoming legends. not quite yet, but definitely very established, up and comers. laiho will be mentioned in the same breath as zakk wylde and dime in years to come. he started when he was 18, same as zakk, and his career's been equally successful as zakk's was when he was 30. hey, come to think about it though, alexi isn't really even heavy metal or thrash.. he's melodic death.. yeah, mustaine is fantastic. i love his tone and his solo's so much =)

Professional musicians get paid top dollar to play in public, Zak Wylde is probably the best guitarist in the world in his genre of music. He is highly sought after because he's the very best, period... Be thankful he allows himself to be taped and shown on you tube. How is it showing off when he's about to do the same or better on stage right after his warm up? Showing off? It's very important for some intermediate - beginner guitar players to know that pickups play a very important role to harmonics so if you can't make it with harmonics maybe it's the pickups. Also make sure you are holding the pick the right way. ( youtube it ).
@@brandonmartin08i managed to get those zakk wylde squeals With mini humbuckers in my SG, i use 9-42 strings, and that loose tension makes me do some crazy ass vibrato that makes the squeal so much richer
it's so fucking hard for me. I've literally been spending 30 minutes each day for 2 years now trying to do pinch harmonics. and still can't get lucky with them. done every technique from any fucking video it just rages me so much
Keep practicing, bro. It took me around six months to master this shit, since I had no freaking clue to hold the pick and attack the strings, but it worth it. Just touch the string with the pick and your finger being careful and then add vibrato, and you've got that crazy shit, cheers.
@wikki11 it's lesson not for 5 year guitar players.not even for 10 year. he shreds and only true talented spectator can take this challenge. however this lesson it's almost easy comparing to the others

ahhh. it wasnt the guitar. when i bought it i went to go install straplocks and on apparently it had been dropped because the body was cracked underneath the strap button. so i returned it to guitar center. then the next one i got had a faulty knob. so when i went to go get that fixed i saw a nice gibson LP studio with the faded top. and it was just about the same price. so i exchanged the wylde for that one.
