I've been lucky enough to play golf here on two different occasions. The sandy turf, rolling nature of the property and open vistas make Prairie Dunes a very special place.
"and his design partner".... You can just say Bill Coore. Most of those who are big enough golf nerds to watch this know who the guy is. Minor criticism aside, great video as per usual. Keep em coming.
I was laughing at that too, this playlist has a fair number of Coore and Crenshaw courses as it is and talks about them ad nauseam; only to just leave Bill out like that for this one for no reason.
Prairie Dunes looks like a magnificent course. I’d love to see this course host a large event. I think either a U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Women’s Amateur, or U.S. Amateur would be a perfect event for this course.
Classy narrative and music. Just played the course on my E6\SkyTrak sim and wish I’d watched this and taken notes first. The course is right there in front of you…but it’s not. Not tricked up or if so it’s all done naturally. I spent many holes needing recovery shots, lots of pitches\chips needed on some tricky greens. Very cool course.
It’s actually surprisingly cheap. Membership isn’t full. And it’s easy to get on. Looks great in photos and videos, but it’s not a well manicured style course, which seems to turn a lot of golfers off. It’s pretty rough, tbh.
We're going to need one for Los Angeles Country Club for the US Open!
And Oak hill for the PGA Championship!
Of the 154 courses I’ve played across the country, this is the top.
Bandon Dunes is a close second because it reminds me so much of this course!

This is one of my Favorite Courses that I have had the opportunity to play.

Looks like an absolute gem of a course!
@golfdigest the 2001 US Women’s Open was at Pine Needles. 2002 was at Prairie Dunes.
Love these! Would love to see pinehurst no2 knowing it’s soon to host many us opens
7:20 has Dan Jenkins ever heard of Pebble Beach?
Need one for Ballyneal
What an amazing course, would be a test with those small greens and run offs.
"Ben Crenshaw and his design partner", lol you mean Bill Coore the real golf course architect?
Song name?
Do Cherry Hills C.C
Is this where the next LIV event is being hosted?
👏👏👏👏👏
Be great if we could, ya know, actually play it.
Too bad that non-wealthy people will never be able to experience a round there.

The Ar-Kansas river? lol
If you live in Kansas, that's what it's called. If you live in Arkansas, it's pronounced differently.
Um. The ar kansas River? That is the Arkansas River you tool
In Kansas that's what it's called. Not in CO, OK or AR.
