  • Join us as we explore Wolf Run State Park Campground in Caldwell, Ohio! We stayed at site 86 and recommend this site for its privacy and path to the lake. Last year Walter and the kids visited this campground and stayed at site 87 which has a significant slope from the parking pad to the picnic table and fire ring, so he wanted to try to something different this year. Site 86 offered lots of privacy and there was space to use on both sides of our camper since there isn’t another campsite available right behind 86. We didn’t set up the badminton net this trip, but the area behind the camper would have been perfect for this activity or other yard games.
Wolf Run seems to be a bit off the beaten path for Ohio Campgrounds. It’s on the smaller side, but we enjoyed how quiet it was during our stay.
The water was quite high during this visit, but when Walter and the kids visited last year, it was perfect for lots of rock skipping and more exploring along the shore. The kids still had fun and we made the most of it even though we had a couple hours of rain on our second day.
Don’t forget to like and subscribe! In our next camping video you’ll join us as we explore Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan-we can’t wait! Thank you so much for watching!

We have driven through Wolfrun but have not stayed. Trying to find a spot that will be long enough for our camper. Did they have a place to fill your fresh water tank? We can’t remember. Looks like you all had a great time.

Yes! They do have potable water for your fresh water tank. Enjoy! My kids were just talking about how they want to go back. :)

Hi! This one wasn’t as hard as trying to book Salt Fork or Hocking Hills, but I think we booked it March just to be sure we got a spot. I’m going to check out your channel-we love seeing other reviews, too!
