We India needs 10 like her visionary administrators to clean up all the root causes sports policies and politics, i wish she will continue for another ten and many more years and all her aims will be successful by next 2 Olympics, like more than 250 Olympian participants and more then 25 Olympics medals.. This is such a gem. Brought back old memories of how I realised soon enough that I was not great enough to be a professional in sports - but this gives me belief I could contribute so much to this space :)
state subject does not mean you have the right to deal with Intl body , IOC is an intl body it simply means you can decide for yourselves the state policies of xyz state wrt sports in your state without Central Govt's permission but many states fail in sports infra effective budgetary utilization barring Odisha Haryana etc, but your authority does not exceed the territorial limits of your state. Just as health is a state subject but during covid management its the center which formulated the national blueprint but its the responsibility of the state for proper last mile vaccine distribution and administration for effective vaccination.
