Ninh Binh | Worth the visit ? | Hoa Lu | Tam Coc | Namaste Vietnam

- Far too, few travelers make it to Ninh Binh, a mesmerizing area known locally as ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’ thanks to its magical riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddies. The best way to get a sense of this UNESCO-protected site is by taking a paddleboat tour along its shimmering rivers and climbing to the top of its fabled peaks.
I am glad I took this day tour to Ninh Binh and had a great time ou t tomyself.
Never have I ever taken a boat ride this long and this serene.
If you are visiting Vietnam, Hoa Lu and Tam Coc should be on your list.
Though the Ninh Binh region in Vietnam has a lot to offer, due to the time crunch, I could only cover these.
Best way to explore- rent a bike.

Nice video.. But you could have a guided tour to understand more about this place.
We went there last week with guide and he told a beautiful story of 2 kings .. Dinh King and Lu King ..
1. Height of door is less and step at the door is high so when entering in the temple you have to bend which indicates bowing to king
2. There are 2 temples for 2 kings. 1st one has nghe (Animal) and few additional thing .. And this temple is for Dinh King
3. 2nd temple is for Lu King and is similar but has less features.
4. It is because 1st king was killed by his general and that general was nothing but king Lu, which later become a king
5. Folk say the queen of Dinh king helped General Lu to kill Dinh king. After killing she married to General who later become king
6. As she married to both the kings, there was a confusion where to put her status. So people decided to put it in 2nd temple but she was facing towards first temple to Dinh king
