I can only say that I want the original cast to be back in when they make the movie. I know there's concerns for aging and how their voice changed but I want a second chance to see that chemistry!
They try to do that, but then sometimes they go with whoever is a “big” star at the time… like when they gave the role of Eliza to Audrey Hepburn after Julie Andrews had played the part excellently on the stage for a long time… and the worst miscasting EVER…when they gave the role of Maria to Natalie Wood!!!!
Listened to wicked sound tracks today and in the order they are sung in the musical my top 5 songs are- Popular, I’m not that girl, defying gravity, no good deed & for good. These 5 songs really resonated with me. Especially since I was bullied and shunned at school for being different.

All I hear is screaming and they all sound like Disney characters. i don’t get what all the hype is about. The books are good. Yet hard to understand in places. But a musical I can’t get into. And now Ariana Grande is cast for the new movie. Maybe she won’t scream.
