Precious footage...saving to my archives, i collect and love documentaries/vids from them times in Hip Hop...Much Love to Clark Kent, Rest Well Legend Forever
This is how REAL DJ'S SHOWCASED THEIR SKILL 2 TURNTABLES AND A MIXER, NO PUSH BUTTON TO GET BACK TO THE CUE POINT 😑 WOW I had that same mixer lol. This is a 101 LESSON !!!
Now you see she gave props to Salt N Pepa when she went off. Salt N Pepa ain't got no business leaving Spin out like they have. Clark Kent is dope. They got busy and sound good without all this dam technology I'm the way now a days.
All absolute respect to New York the birth place of hip hop, with that said, West coast (L.A. & SF Bay area) DJs took scratching to a complete hole new level. Tony G, Juluo G, M-Walk, Joe Cooley, Gemini, Battlecat (1580 AM Stereo KDAY) (L.A.) 1985 to 1988 where scratching 10 years ahead of New York baby scratches. Once New York caught up by 94, the West Coast again reinvented scratching, DJ Qbert (Daily City) Mixmaster (Mike San Francisco), DJ Rectangle (L.A.), DJ Revolution (San Francisco), Invincible Scratch Pickles, The Beat Junkies, The Goodfellas etc. Mr. Mix (2 live crew), yes they are actually from L.A. (not Miami). Miami however had some amazing scratch DJs as well, DJ Magic Mike, DJ Needles, Scratch D from Dynamix. Best East Coast DJ scratchers in the mid 80s where Jazzy Jeff (Philly), Cash Money (Philly).
@manuele mariani not even close.... Jeff & Cash Money were hella sick from Philly, but the west coast had over 20 insane scratch DJs lol 😆 M Walk, Battel Cat, DJ Poo, Tony G, Mr Mixx, Joe Cooley, Jiggalo Tony, Scratch D, Melo D, Jammin Gemini, DJ Bobcat, Ralph M, Dj Yella, Julio G, Hen G, Prince Ice, J Scratch, J Rocc, Dr Dre, Dj Romeo, Trayski, The mixtress, DJ Alladin, DJ Alex Majia, DJ Glenn Aurie, CJ Flash, Turntable T, DJ Greg Lopez, DJ Jazzy Jim, The unknown DJ, DJ Battery Brain, Ummmm, yeah I could seriously continue with amazing Scratch turntablist from the west coast from 84 to 89. West coast did not envint squat when it came to hip hop, but the the west coast sure raised the bar when it came to scratching and megamixes!!!!
@@GalaxyNexus1 Are u up here hoping to not see these sistas reconcile after 30 years of history? SnP say they wanna work things out, but actions speak louder than words. And the Beyoncé/Latoya Lockett example isn’t the same, with over 30 years of history together. Look at the history bruh..
@@djairalert422 it's not even that, it's that Spin and Salt N Pepa see their positions in the group differently and the Spin factor became a headache for them. And with any relationship sometimes you have to cut off the cause of negative energy in your life. That doesn't mean Spin is a bad person, and it also doesn't meant Salt or Pepa are bad people. Just like in a marriage, 2 people can love each other and be together for 10 or 20 or 30 years and then get a divorce. Only you know what's right for you and Salt N Pepa don't deserve the hate they're getting from some people online for taking their own lives and careers in their hands. As for LeToya, she wasn't even given the chance to have that 30 year legacy, so Spinderella is extremely lucky and blessed, comparitively, to have had that. I think there is love there but Salt n Pep are not obligated to continue to work with her, and it would be great if they could reconcile even without that working relationship, but it seems like Spin may not be completely open to that.

Learning how takes practice. I started during quarantine by just play songs and I learned by watching and understanding bpm and looping songs.

Not only is Spin beautiful, but she has a beautiful soul. ❤️I hope snp stop hating, and do right by her.
Bruh sometimes people go in separate directions...are you up here hoping for Beyoncé to “do right by LeToya Luckett?"

All I thought about was juice when she was scratching
a Female Q....she transforming on that big Daddy Kane.... LL cool j
S&P's legacy is tarnished a bit for the way they are treating Spin. I'm sure they were jealous of her. She was always my favorite ❤
How did I miss this channel?
Spinderella still has the girl next door gorgeous
Spinderella 😍
Thanks for uploading....

Good stuff !! Original!! 🔥🔥
SnP need to fix up, Spiderella is fire on those decks and her contribution to Salt N Pepper and Hip Hop needs more recognition.
Anyone know what the drag scratch demonstrated in this video is now called? Forward normal speed, back slow.
I'm fully convinced that SnP was jealous that Spin can still gig without them.
Exactly
Do you have volume 1
YOOOOOO
Clark Kent went dumb
Booiiii
