Both are beauties and would win a pageant! You did an outstanding job as always Mr. John! But if ya twist my arm..I'm a pickin the perfect handle... the thumb turn just really puts it over the top... no losers is this though..they have a great home now! Good stuff!
They are both beautiful examples, but I have always wanted one of the improved HD Smith as well, so I will choose the 660. The winged example you showed is the first tool I spotted at an antique shop that made me so curios as to start collecting old tools. It was my first "find" and I still have it.
I started my small collection with a standard Perfect Handle screwdriver. Over the years, the collection has grown to include every example and size of the Perfect Handle. In recent years I have targeted the 660 and the larger Machinist screwdrivers. But likewise over time I grabbed Pexto and Ryan screwdrivers if the price was right. I like them all.
This a hard decision, I like the Thumb Embellishment on the Perfect Handle and Overall Shape but I really like the Large Rivets & Wood on the PEXTO...........I think I'll have to go with the 660.
John- Nothing beats the 660, you did an awesome job on both!!! 😃👍
Thanks for watching and for your comments John

Beautiful restoration, I'm a big fan of both of those , great job!
Gosh John, they are both beautiful restorations, I like the PEXTO for real work, but the 660 is really a piece of art! Great video!

The more elongated form of the Pexto handle does it for me! Great results, thanks for sharing! All the best
