Yeah. The new Tekken is pretty phenomenal and the creativity in Noctis' style of fighting is dope.
I was hoping for another fighter in the vein of Geese and Akuma though...like another bad ass Dad character. But who knows what the criteria is for choosing guest characters...

MarioGMan25 you joke, but there was always Kenzan, with "Kazumanosuke Kiryu" which was basically an Edo Period version of Kiryu who was also secretly Miyamoto Musashi. So the possibility of getting that variant of Kiryu in SCVI is possible

Hammerhead looks lame as fuck. It's a gas station with a play pen around it. It's like the Tekken 7 daycare center. Howard Estate is the best stage in Tekken 7 in every possible way.
if there is one character in FF that fits in Tekken, it's Tifa... or any other of the monks in the games like Sabin or even Yda.

I love how Max in the reveal trailer said who asked for this and wasn't excited to now he's hyped about him. Where I've been excited this whole time.
I love Max's change of heart with Noctis. From "no one asked for this shit >=(" during the original announcement, to "omfg this looks fucking awesome," I'm glad Noctis (and FFXV) is getting some love.
Personally Noctis fits Tekken more than Soul caliber.
Tekken is a more modern fighter while soul is a middle ages fighter.
So to me with Noctis's modern design he fits Tekken a bit more in my opinion

Don't know if you'll see this Max, but that side teleport you mentioned is in XV as well! Do a left/right attack with the one-handed sword (where he spins to the side and slashes) and then hold up-right/left depending on direction, and Noctis will warp into the air like in this trailer.

He could've been in either game honestly, but his fluidity suits him well in Tekken. Btw Yoshimitsu is congruent to a degree so it's nice to have that added variant in the game

Good. Basically means that they are so good that they "break" the games mechanics and are just too good. A good example is Mega Rayquaza from Pokemon. It's a Pokemon that can mega evolve without a stone, allowing it to hold another item, and is so broken that it has it's own tier.
Actually a better example would be a character in fighting games like Meta Knight in Brawl, who has unmatched frame data, the best recovery in the game, great set ups and doesn't have a bad mu in the game.

I really want to see Noctis in Smash. Since he uses different weapons, maybe he can switch between weapons using neutral B and they will have different properties, like one does more damage but is slow and another has more launch power and more reach but less damage. His side B can be either the crossbow or the huge throwing star. His up B can be his Warp Strike attack and you can choose which direction you want him to go. His down B can be a counter and he phases in a shield in the animation. He could also use the shield for his block. His Final Smash can be either him calling in his friends for a team attack or he can use his Armiger attack.
I honestly can't believe max mentioned KH after so long.

In Tekken, every character is broken in their own way, Noctis just adds on
total 180 response from the initial reveal. which is a good thing.
I feel like the extra costumes were the reason it's taken months for his eventual release.
I come from old school tekken. Are you telling me I'm supposed to fight this guy as a Panda and expect to win? Lmfao, this guy has magic up the arsehole, teleporting all of the place and manifesting all kinds of weaponry on the spot, and summoning god damn magic. Meanwhile a lot of characters just throw some punches and kicks and got the occasional cool grab sequence.

Eggheadcobra Not exactly at least these characters generally still fought with their fist. Noctis doesn't hence why ppl say he fits in SC.
The funny thing is that I colleague of mine said that Noctis's fighting style actually does fit Tekken better than Soul Calibur due to the combos he has are more fitting here than there that focuses more on the more powerful hits. If anything, if we were to get a "FFXV" rep, I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be Gladio.

Dynasty channel talks about how the producers of Soul Calibur were trying to get Nocrtis but it didn't fall thru in time or something. You have to check it out. He has all the producers comments about Notics and the development process of Soul Calibur.

Let's not forget, when they had Heihachi and Yoshimitsu in SC2 I believe it was, they were pretty horrible xD
1) Yoshimitsu was in SC1 as well.
2) Dude Yoshimitsu in SC2 was good.
Considering that's not meant to be the exact same person, Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur was fine and at the time seemed like a viable pick to me.
Heihachi was in no way sillier then Spawn imho and the novelty of guest characters, along with SC's campy nature, helped sell it.

In my opinion they should of added Tifa, she actually makes sense to put in since she's a fighter and hella popular.
Honestly, he would've been a better choice for soulcalibur 6 instead of tekken.

Reason why Noctis cant be in SC is pretty simple. SC takes place in the far past so it would be pretty weird especially with his cellphone, aggressive teleports for the easy accidental ringout , and vast variety of weapons which would easily make him busted in SC or lack true variety like his gameplay emphasizes. If you really think about it Noctis would be a poor choice and would lead back to Yoda and Darth Vader being guest characters... I put a lot of thought into this!!!
Tyler Cafe plus it's a complete reboot,We ain't gonna talk about SC4 and SC5 because it's not happen during a Original SC,SCII and prequel to SCIII.
But you have to admit. Sigefried and Nightmare looked their best in Soul Calibur 4. Plus the weapons of those game Soul Calibur and Soul Edge look pretty amazing to. My only positive on SC4.
I mean they could say some random time portal opened up and pulled Noctis to the past. Just like with Heihachi in SCII.
It's weird to see people say Noctis doesn't fit in a game that featured multiple animals that know martial arts, multiple weapon users, wooden men made of steel, chainsaw fighting robots, ZE DEVIL, and a disco dancer.
