I am currently saving up for an F13 M6 with a DCT. I am planning on going with a downpipe and a tune a few months after ownership. Would you recommend a clutch upgrade kit to be installed before I go ahead with the upgrades?

Probably worth it to at least get xHP transmission tuning and then see how it goes from there. But whether or not you want to drop a few grand on a clutch upgrade depends how aggressively you are trying to push the tune/what power levels you want to be running consistently.
