Interesting!! I wish the Lagos state government would emulate this concept of re-settlement for Makoko people of Lagos instead of burning down their homes!!
Apo is a place with huge growth potential for the future! That major road undergoing dualization leading into the area is officially designated as the Outer Southern Expressway - it is supposed to run from the roundabout behind Aso Villa, past Apo, Kuje and terminate just after Gwagwalada on the Abuja-Lokoja highway. It will serve as a Southern bypass to the city the way Kubwa Road (Outer Northern Expressway) serves as a Northern bypass. Together with the stretch of Federal Highway between Gwagwalada and Zuba, these roads form a Great Ring Road encircling the Abuja Metropolitan Area.
All the existing roads are temporary infrastructures which will be replaced with the standard primary and secondary infrastructures in due time. I have been living in Abuja since 1998 and that is how all the places you appreciated in Maitama,Asokoro,Wuye,Jabi,Utako etc was before the main infrastructures were put in place.
Fine houses, but no pedestrian sidewalks. There are open gutters, and the place lacks vegetation and greenery. I think the capital city authorities should ensure that the estate developers abide by the rules of modern estates

There is no fixed rate or price. Could be anything between 10 to 30million naira

How much does it cost to rent a two bedroom around this area.
It depends on the try to house, the location, the finishing and the agent renting out the place. You can get anything from half a million to a million
How much do they sell a buildable plot in that area?
It depends on the location, size and seller. Ranges from 10s to 50 million

Imagine how beautiful the place would have been if government provided a sidewalk and closed the gutter.
