Great reaction. Animals is a fantastic album. The most aggressive one of Pink Floyd. Go as well for Wish You Were Here, Meddle, The Wall, The Final Cut, Division Bell.... and all the others. Pink Floyd is an experience.
Animals remains one of my favourite albums; even 43 years after I first heard it! Hard to think of where else you might go from Pink Floyd that wasn't a backwards step ... how about Polish band Riverside (I'd suggest either 'Escalator Shrine' or 'Secong Life Syndrome'); if not Riverside then a band called Airbag (Homesick parts I-III would be a great choice)
Do you want to know how they make that sick drum sound back in 70's? You record drum bar played backwards on magnet tape. Than you flip the tape and lay on drum bar played forward. Yeah, I know, analog era bro...
Almost 43 years ago. Sounds like it was yesterday. And the lyrics as relevant as ever.
There is a reason why this is my FAVORITE album of all time. It's 100% perfect from start to finish... No flaws whatsoever... ;)
Takes a me back to the mid 70s. Excellent album!
this allways makes goosebumps.
this is where it all started for me 🙌❤️
Check out Comfortably Numb...live Pulse concert...it will blow your mind. Greatest guitar solo of all time.

LOL
That's how I reacted the first time I heard it. Even Echoes didn't give me that kind of reaction.
yes awesome album
Maybe my favorite album, seemed the message and music got angrier and more intense
Most would suggest either Sober, Stinkfist or Forty-Six & 2.
I suggest Merkaba by Tool
