I made this card yesterday & have a question: how can I get the back panel to stand better? Mine tends to fall backwards but I have used exact dimensions 🤔
You can try using a base part that is longer - so that it has more room to prop up. Also, if you make sure any embellishments are nearer the bottom and not the top - this will help weigh the back panel down. 👍😊
Could you tell me the measurements for A5 version i can do the mats&layers myself many thanks.
I haven't made one yet but I would imagine you'd need three pieces of card A5 size - one that's ½" taller than the other two so you can connect them together to make a top folding A5 card. Then maybe just made the two front pieces slightly bigger so that the steps are slightly taller. An A5 would be very similar to the 5x7 as its only marginally larger (+¾" on the width and +1¼" on the height)
What keeps it from tipping overwards
It's like an easel card - so it is propped up by the piece in front of it. Mine flipped backwards because my topper was a bit too heavy
