Holy shit, man. This was incredible. I went in with the same mindset as you, I knew they were brutally heavy, but not a whole lot else stood out to me, but WOW I was surprised by the direction here. As you said, the composition was amazing, I love the evil nature from the black metal elements, Lucca is definitely becoming one of the best vocalists, and the guitar and drums were awesome too. I see that Devil logo, and I gain 95% confidence that I'm getting something great!

Delivers a familar vibe but expands it to further realms. Holy s*** this thing is a masterpiece. These guys went from unknown to one of my favorite bands instantly. Lorna Shore is my favorite, mostly for how they did it on Flesh Coffin. That album did blackened deathcore different than basically anyone else, which I love it for. That said, the epic sound that a bunch of bands are going for is sick, and this track is definitely my favorite of the year so far

A Wake In Providences' Blvck Sun gives me the same feel. Just a overall unique Blackened sound that really stands out too me atleast.

Their last album "Inferus" is phenomenal. I have listened to it so many times now. It has that Evil/dark vibe to it and is just so heavy I love it.
Inferis wasn't as good as their 1st full-length imo. A Hill To Die Upon surely won't disappoint though.🤟🏾
