Laura - you warmed my heart when I saw you bring out the pinking shears! Pinking shears are something we all have but fail to think to use! Instead of clipping curves with scissors get out your pinking shears! Yea, Laura! 😊👍🧵
What an adorable project. A great idea to copy the pattern and make extra clothing items for the doll. Once the items have been made it would make a really nice Christmas gift for a child. Thanks for sharing.
Thats the cutest thing. Thank you for giving us ideas for a dress from the upper coverall pattern. Also its a great way to use up the scraps. Adding tiny buttons and appliques and ribbon roses with the fabric glue will make it even more " funner "with your kids when they want to help you sew.
So fun! I just made this for our granddaughter as a Christmas gift. I happened to have some of the Kewpie fabric in my stash and made a tote bag so she can keep it all together.
How cute!! I recall my mother had a Kewpie doll from when she was a child. It was passed on to one of the grandchildren. This looks like a fun kit to make with my own granddaughter. Very inspirational, as always.
OMGosh ‼️❣️ what a perfect do ll to give my little niece and nephew twins! One Angel Kewpie boy and girl angels 👼 Laura, I look for your You Tube’s every day! Looking forward to the Bernina Q20 next week! Love you 😘 Cathy from Southern California
It's adorable! I was all ready to get 4 of these to make for Christmas gifts but it's not available on the USA site. UPDATE: I got them ordered! YEAH! Thank you!
@@SewVeryEasy from Amazon, but your link is for Canada and it wouldn't let me add them to the shopping cart. When I searched Amazon USA it didn't have the dolls listed. I went back to your link and signed into my account and was able to purchase them.
The is a good history lesson, I didn’t know any of that. Such a cute little doll. In days past did they ever give those away as Carnival prizes, does anyone know if that is true. Actually this video just made me smile, the wings, clothes, so tiny
Very cute project. I love the projects you have for gifts for children. I made the pillow w/the monster face for my grandson and it was very cute!
Love it, I am 84 and when I was about 10 years old I had a Kewpie doll, just loved it, thanks for the memories ❤️

How can I get the kiw pie doll panel and doll?
Where can I get the doll and the kit ?
There's a link in the description box. And check with your local quilt shop and see if they can get it in for you
Do they come in African American?
that is a good question. This kit is only in this model. If I find one I will let you know and if you find one please let me know:)
