I have a bunch of these 10A versions and one of the 20A and they all work well. Very efficient, and almost no heat produced. One of the 10A versions lives under the hood of one of my vehicles, mounted to the engine cover, keeping the battery topped up with a 100W roof mounted solar panel.

I would probably replace those connections with either xt60 or xt90 connectors to solar and battery…it’s what I’ve Done with my Victron Mppt charge controllers..

I've been wondering about these little guys. I want to throw one on my truck battery thats parked most of the time.

It’s pretty handy, they make a 20 amp one as well. Just don’t like the SAE connection, but that’s easily fixed.

@@PreppinontheCreek12 I hate SAE since you always have to use polarity swapper things.
