So thrilled! Just got my brushes. I had specified that I preferred larger brushes fully realizing I would get fewer, and I ordered natural short brushes for watercolour. Well, I only got 8 brushes but one of them is a pure kolinsky size 10 series 8 which is longer than a round and shorter than a designer, with a beautiful point. I’m beyond thrilled. Also got a motler, a mop, 3 small detail brushes and 2 unusual brushes that are small round pointeds with very unusual natural wood handles. I’ll have to figure out what those are. I would never have spent 141 Canadian dollars on 1 brush (which is the listed price), but to get the perfect grail brush that also happens to share my name is just so great! Thanks for putting out the video!
i'm so glad! i know some people end up being unsatisfied with their bundles but those are usually people who expect certain brush types and aren't open to new ones. i'm glad you were able to get kolinsky. i think there are a lot of US based customers that would be willing to pay the bundle price but without kolinsky on offer for them, it's a bit of a shame. anyway, glad you love your bundle! happy painting!
i feel you Margaret... it's not cheap. for anyone else reading, some more info... Symi says there won't be another Seconds Bundles offer until 2025. and it seems like the price keeps going up every time. i believe in 2021, there were 65 and 100 USD bundles but then i bought mine last year around 95 USD. this year it's now 105 USD. i could only imagine how much it'll be next year.
@@PaintinHiding - 😵😵😵😵 Oh no! Will you be staying in your new home permanently or will you have to go through all the work of moving again once your damaged home is repaired and livable again? SO MUCH WORK. Take good care of yourself, Vee. You're not made of steel (which would rust in all that water anyway). I wish we could all just pull on our rain boots and come help.
@@susanavenir definitely will have to move again but don't think we'll be back to the damaged home. the cost of repairing is high and there are some other options. don't know yet where life is taking us, currently with distant relatives but just gotta make it work, one thing a time.
Question: Does anyone know why they cannot include Kolinsky sable hair brushes in any bundles shipping to the U.S.? (There is a note in the description of those item pages that specifies this.)

my pleasure :D and it’s a whole-family moving situation. long story short: monsoon season, house flooded, damage happened. so yes, still hiding 😅

i think oil brushes were offered in feb and watercolour was supposed to happen in july but got postponed to now
