Simple and easy cinnamon tea cake recipe. Very fluffy, soft and moist. Easy Baking. ASMR

This super fluffy, soft, airy and moist cinnamon tea cake will instantly become your staple recipe! It's super easy to make with only few simple ingredients. Ready in less than an hour it makes perfect quick sweet tooth fix. No more buying cakes! No store bought cake will ever compare to a freshly made homemade cake. It can be served warm or cold, but I found it to be even more delicious the next day!
RECIPE:
Prep time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 30-35 minutes
Total: 50 minutes
Tin size 8 inches / 20cm.
All ingredients must be room temperature.
200g (1+1/4 cup) plain flour (I recommend using scales for correct measurement)
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
120g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
150g (3/4 cup) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large or 3 small eggs
170ml (2/3 cup) milk
Topping:
20g unsalted butter
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C / 360F / Gas mark 4.
Baking time: 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Every oven is different, cooking times may vary slightly, keep checking it every 2 minutes after 30 minutes of baking.

Do you have to add the salt? I have to remove as much salt from my diet as I can for health reasons. I cook from scratch so that I can achieve this.

You can absolutely skip the salt dear, salt enhances and balances flavors, but it's not an essential ingredient 🥰

I have tried this recipe but I don't know why it comes out very moist and slightly raw inside, it's something wrong with the butter I guess ? Maybe it was not warm enough

Sounds like your actual oven temperature could be running low. I would highly recommend oven thermometer, it’s very affordable and useful 👌
