  • This is the Reds closing the opening day of the Sunderland Air Show 2012.
    If anyone is wondering why only 7 jets, the Reds decided to finish the 2012 season with only 7 jets in memory of Jon Egging and Sean Cunningham who lost theirs lives doing what they loved to do best. RIP.

    really good the tribute to bomber command and the pilots that lost there lives last year

      Darren Stoker When the red arrows are coming into the shoreline he states the magnificent 7 its now 9 i dont know whether it was because 2 may of been faulty and not able to fly or what not

      I mention why below the vid, it was in memory of the 2 reds that were tragically killed during that season.
      So they decided to finish the season with 7 jets,
      Nice touch!
