How do they get the sound kind of right but fuck up the colours of the damn car? LMAO. And throw is right, throw this shit into the garbage disposal. This game is "Good." in the same sense as Saints Row 3 and 4. It's only good if you're bored or never played the rest. Beyond that people can't say other wise on why they like it most of the time.

SCREAMILLUSION I frankly don't care if it's basically a burnout game. I had a lot of fun with it, specially because the multiplayer and the physics were far better developed than 2015's. I can only assume people hate it because it has Most Wanted on the title, which I agree is fucking ridiculous considering it has nothing to do with MW2005 except the blacklist.

To me, Saints Row IV is *not* a Saints Row game. It's a Crackdown game.

It was easily the most fun, with it's amazing mp and good map. I hated the fact there was no customization, and I think it shouldn't have been called "most wanted" but yeah
I think it shouldn't even be launched with the controlls this game had. I don't know how someone can even play this game without crashing the cars every 5 seconds or driving it really slow, "oh you must be bad, or should adjust the settings", i've been playing racing games for 20 years and played most of nfs, gran turismo, burnout, test drive, ridge racer, grid, toca, and even obscure shit like Motorhead for ps1... Is not my driving skills if i can controll a Zonda in simulation games, all assists turned off using a xinput, and is definitively not my pc config since I played mw 12 in console. So tell me, what is the secret to play it for more than an hour without trying to rip the cable of the controller out of frustration for the bad response and stiffness of the cars?
@@Canalbiruta Have you played it on PC? The PC version of MW2012 has an input lag issue that makes the driving feel off. There's a fix for that

This is the only one I’ve played extensively and I love it. It’s not trying to be realistic and it’s easy to learn how to play good which is why it’s so fun
@@corvax8644 It may not necessarily be the worst, but in terms of racing games in general it's painfully mediocre. In comparison with other games that have been released before and around the games release, games such as Burnout Paradise, Midnight Club Los Angeles, and Forza Horizon this games pales in comparison.
It's not the worst in the franchise, but it's easily the most forgettable.

Planet Thrill a glitch every now and then is fine but i would hit random cars that are invisible and manifest after i hit them numerous times and it was just a frustrating game bc it was so glitchy it was almost unplayable but it could have been so good. And yeah payback was pretty bad

Although I agree with you. NFS:MW2012 does not feel like a Need For Speed game.
GTA Logic the first nfs didnt even have much high end cars, most of them were sports or muscle
GTA Logic yet the games that made NFS the best selling racing game franchise were Underground 1 & 2, MW 2005, Carbon, etc. Those customisation, progression games.
So therefore that's what NFS is most known about, not their pre-2003 games.

GTA Logic it doesn't matter what the original nfs is, the underground - carbon Era was by far more popular and made a profit for the franchise, ea is supposed to make the game how the majority of the fans demand it to be if they want to keep the series alive.
at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter which was first, but what does matter is not being broke because you made a game that's similar to a 2001 game than actually making a more modern game that's suited for everyone's playstyle

I was so happy and had so much expectation when getting this game because me and my father were need for speed fans. However, this game has ups and downs and when I realized that the M3 was behind a paywall I slowly stopped playing it.

@@GamerVoid06 no tuning, no progression all cars from start. If i want burnout i would buy burnout. Take look for NFS Heat. Sure its not best but atlast there is 10 times more content for you to play. For me every other NFS is better than 2012. Only graphic was good for the time being.
@@papsi10 Nah, like Manta said, the online multiplayer in this game was really fun, playlist allowed for both a challenge and freedom, hell this games multiplayer is way better than what Heat's multiplayer currently offers. I love NFS 2012 and even tho I admit it's by far the worst NFS game, as an overall game, it was still decent. As said before, multiplayer is where this game really shined and was crazy fun to play. I personally almost never played single player, only to beat the Most Wanted and that was it. I also love Heat but wish the game had more replayability with multiplayer, after reaching lv50, theres not much else to do other than to buy and build new cars. Really hope they eventually add some kind of DLC that adds new events or possibly expand on the map, or better yet, improve the multiplayer.

Yeah I was playing it yesterday and when I actually sat down to think about it, it actually felt almost better than NFS 2015. Yeah the free roam wasn't great, and the lack of an actual story mode .... those are almost minor complaints. It was a great game.
You can go and see his video on NFS Hotpursuit, but I wouldn't again. He basically did like this video and compared the game to other games and after I beat the whole game, I realized that he said alot of things that didn't add up, like using an emp in a normal street race, without police which never happened and then he basically loses track and starts dissing NFS 2012 so it's basically hate of NFS 2012 with a NFS Hotpursuit thumbnail on it, because the majority of the video was NFS 2012. I don't think he played the game enough to know anything about it really and his overall opinion is that it's bad because it doesn't have customization. if you don't believe me, you can watch the video and if you do believe me and don't watch his vid then I saved you the trouble, because he honestly made a fool of himself saying things that gave off the appearance that he hasn't played the game and he's one of those RUclipsrs that have an opinion and tries to Superimpose those opinions on his viewers.

This game could’ve been a new burnout game since they took some of the elements from the series but made it into a NFS game
No progression, easy police, very little incentive to complete races or enter pursuits, unnecessary crash cams, too much paid DLC

That's not entirely true , the game was indeed not condemned to death penalty because it had just came out right after The Run which had many issues if we're being kind , but to stretch it to the point of "everyone loved it back then" is not just inaccurate, that's just straight up BULL-SHIT , that's anti-truth , a lot of people complained about the physics , glitches, optimization and other things , and let's not pretend like there wasn't an extremely loud and huge vocal minority (a minority of probably like 40% of it's playerbase) that absolutely hated this game with soul and teeth.
It was definitely not "loved" by the majority of the Need for Speed fans at that point in time and it was definitely *hated* by us old school need for speed fans.
People complaining about the 2015 reboot have no clue how good they got it.

Most Wanted was not outrageously hated by the vast majority of it's playerbase when it came out, tho dissapointing, it was not like Mass Effect Andromeda , this is facts, if you want proof you can look at tweets and reviews filtering google search by up to dec. 2012 date and you will see it for yourself.
Need for Speed the run was capped at 30fps on PC when it came out , it had performance issues in all 3 platforms, it had terribly generic and arcadey handling (waaayyyy pass console arcade, more in line with a japanese arcade machine from the 90's) and it had TERRIBLE level designing and an even worse RACE circuit designing , you will soon find out that a lot of people back then felt like you were always going in a straight line and a lot of races forced you to do very little steering , which is unnacceptable in NEED FOR FUCKING SPEED.
Now , was the run worse than Most Wanted ? Technically yes, Gameplay wise = probably , the only actual objective thing you could say was better in the Run is the story and the introduction of agressive QTE's + controlling the character out of the car.
If Most Wanted 2012 wouldn't have had that name this wouldn't even be a discussion, most people is salty because they were thinking that 2010's EA , DICE and Criterion were gonna put love and hard work into a game that would be "the 2nd coming of Most Wanted 2005" ... you fools you never learn, you keep pre-ordering this fucking games and you keep getting raped, get fucking raped you absolute fucking morons, U.S Americans have way too much money and too little neurons.
Performance Upgrades in Payback are the way the are because of you by the way.

Well not everyone can put freaking 12 hours a day everyday into game and earn money. This was a good game imo. You can just get into it rice some people,drive all the cars you want to and just have fun. People wanted this from NFS too and not just burnout. I played it everyday for like 2 hours for about a year and half or maybe 2 years and i loved it. I still sometimes play it but im waiting for payback. No hate and i respect everyone's chocices and opinions.

Like they are going to change anything. With the transactions from fifa alone they manage to make enough money to cover their costs (with some extra too). Forget about EA, actually, forget about any major gaming company (stick to the classics though), and support indie game developers.

Is this the worst one? Nope, far down the list of the best indeed. But far from the worst. NFS The run was the worst one for me. 2 hours to Complete the story, and the MP was a downgrade vs the last entry. Driving was better vs "most wanted". But the overall package was 10x worse. I get why most don't like this game. As they went for a burnout feel vs what they did in hot pursuit.

I know many did like it. But not for me. Story was way to short on even hard difficulty "3 hours". MP was ruined by the fact you always was the drop in, thus no chance to get XP. No replay of a single story stage, quick race, time trial or anything to give you time to explore the maps or give you a reason to replay it. As many were nicely detailed. But if you did stop, you failed instantly. Only good thing in there was the challenges. As I did spend more time there, then MP and SP. But overall the game was lacking in content and other stuff to keep me coming back to it besides the 3 days I did spend to get all the achievements. At least I did play most wanted for weeks online as it was rather fun. SP was boring as all hell tho.

Sure this game went more for a Burnout feel vs a familiar NFS feel on physics. But still the flaws in the Run outweighs the flaws in this game for me. Even tho the sound design was superb in both of them, and The run is visually nicer. Not saying this game is good either. But it's far from the worst. I'll put NFS 1 one up before anyone of those two tho as a better game.
I liked The Run. Sure, it had flaws but I liked the chaotic action movie-style gameplay. It kinda reminded me of Stuntman.

While this is a very different kind of Need for Speed, it was a very good one nonetheless.
As for saying that the game requires no progression, that isn't quite true. First of all, there are several cars scattered about the city that you have to find in order to drive. Also, there are 10 cars that have to be unlocked by doing a race which is unlocked by earn Speedpoints, which were pretty hard tbh. Also, you have to do races (some of which are quite difficult) in order to get modifications.
Yeah the physics are unrealistic and somewhat difficult to deal with (and I hated the crash cutscenes as well), but then again this is a Need for Speed game, not Forza Motorsport. And the physics are good enough. They're pretty wonky imo, but they weren't terrible.
This is very different from Most Wanted 2005, and very different from many Need for Speed games in general. However, I think this game was a breath of fresh air and something new that EA hasn't done before. Honestly, I would like to see another game like this because I like the idea of having a lot of resources available to you straight away.
No this is not a perfect game, and I agree to some extent that this game shouldn't really be used as an example of what other Need for Speed games are like. In fact, there are several things I would change about this game. I would like to see a larger variety of cars, more mods available for the cars (namely cosmetic and engine mods). I'd also make the cars corner better (less understeer), and make DLC free.
Regardless, this was a very great game. Of course, a lot of diehard Need for Speed fans are really upset about this game being called Most Wanted. But, those kind of people can't be pleased about a sequel no matter what EA does. If you want to play Most Wanted, just play the original. For everyone else, try something a little different. It's fun in it's own kind of way.

Dude this is not nfs this is burnout. Guys like me who played the older ones know what exactly nfs is dude. This is burnout paradise with branded cars and no crash modes. I have even played dominator,revenge and other burnout games and this is literally what a burnout game is like. U can either change the name or u should call this game as the nfs noob simulator.

This is an underrated gem IMO. Was my first NFS, will always be my favorite. People ONLY hate it because they slapped on the MW logo as a remake. Sure, it doesn't do justice, but damn is it a fun game.

Lack of progression the physics lack of buying cars lack of customization lack of good cops lack of tuner cars it's really just burnout with real cars. Also lack of story the "cutscenes" that it did have made no sense at all

@@derfegelein4401 i wasnt , after some times replaying it , becomes pointless , the customization is worse than his predecesors (U and U2) and his sequel = carbon have better , 2012 takes out the tuning and makes an Hp mw with burnout physics and hard handling (that if you master , you feel like youre GOD) , and that makes it a little bit darksouls for being hard , takes the undercover hard mechanic = you crash and you probably have to restart the whole race. Nfsmw2012 was a little bit a copy and paste of 2010 nfs HP wich totally worked with the game mechanics , i think the problem was the tittle and the freeroam , cuz if they named it HP2 maybe this video says "THE BEST NFS SEQUEL GAME" . So many people hate on NFS 2012 because of how it doesn't resemble NFS nearly at all. People don't seem to understand that it was originally supposed to be a Burnout game, or something like Burnout. Think about it: Made by Criterion, drive-through repair shops, takedown rivals to earn their cars, takedowns, taken downs, little vehicular customization beside color and upgrades. THIS SCREAMS BURNOUT!!!! It was changed to an NFS title later on, I believe. It may not seem like a Need for Speed, because it wasn't originally intended to be a Need for Speed. For those who play it, play it as Burnout and NOT Need for Speed.
Funny thing, it was actually supposed to have customization at one point! EA, for whatever reason, cut it out. Dunno why.
But anyway, it is a good game.

i REALLY dislike the kind of car game, where you enter the "drift mode"everytime you turn, i mean by that, that your car can't turn normaly, and not being drifting, your car will ALWAYS have this 30° position, and make a drift sound, and then come back to the normal position, and that's why this game is so easy. NFSU/NFSU2 (2002/2004) had a waaaay better physic, and much more costumization btw.

this is basically a worse and less responsive version of Burnout Paradise driving model... In fact if you played Burnout Paradise you would immedeatly see the massive similarities in core gameplay and progression mechanics, even the online mode is a straight up copypaste of burnout's freeburn online.
