Thanks for the positive comment! Good luck at training, you’ll do great! Let me know if you have any questions at any point leading up to your ship out date. I always try to reply to all my comments.
Everything is different. I did basic in back in 2000. My favorite was doing the obstacle course with the rope ladder. Our drill sargent asked who wanted to go up and be the first. No one volunteered. So I did. I had no battlebuddy with me, and my whole platoon watched.
Unfortunately things like this do occur at training and it’s always a possibility. However it’s also a service wide issue. Way too many people in the military and even veterans lose their life to suicide each year. At bct, drill sergeants and battle buddies do all that they can to prevent this from ever happening but it’s a sad reality.
The things that I stated I can talk about. You can basically research everything that goes on at basic training. And there’s other videos that tells you what it’s like.
@@seanmallet Gotcha. Our company CO told us not to talk about it after. Not sure if they were just trying to keep it a surprise, or didnt want any congressionals, dunno.
What did you enjoy at BCT?

Sounds like some good memories. I can’t imagine how much has changed since then.

@@seanmallet yeah the veteran suicide rate is terrible, did Anyone try to flee or run away or kill themselves
Sometimes you get cases of people trying to run away but that usually doesn’t end in the loss of life. Idk each case is always different.
Also buddy, I'm not sure we're supposed to talk about the NIC. Just what I heard, you probably know better.
