2lb tc rods and 10lb hook length. Heavier than we used for carp in the early 70s. Not a #14 though 😂

Thanks Tim, I had just scaled down to a smaller hook size to try something different when the Carp decided to show up. Last year an angler had a 42lbs carp during the tench champs and this year carp of 35lbs were caught although I don’t know what terminal tackle they were using. Fun times tench fishing 😂👍🎣🐟
