The Nomad with no grips is weird. Originally they said they weren’t adding grips as she has her Airjab Launcher in that slot. Iana then received the Grips fir the ARX, and Nomad still had no grips. However sometime later, Nomad also received grips for the ARX with no mention of it, however the AK hasn’t. So either Nomads ARX having grips is unintentional or if it was, they should add grips to her AK
Wait yeah if both guns didn't have grips I'd get it but the arx does have em so it's weird
I've heard one of the reasons is because she's missing a finger but idk. It was a lore reason at first but 🤷🏾♂️.
@@PraiseJesusANDRepent They said back during Wind Bastion that it’s because the Airjab Launcher takes up the Grip slot like Buck’s Shotgun, for balancing reasons. But they’ve gone back on that with the ARX but not the AK

With Deimos getting attachments for the ak74, you’d reckon that one day we’ll get an operator who gets c8-sfw from buck and is able to get grips on it? Or we gonna see the same weapons reused again( I’m looking at all the mp5/mp7s users)
For the repel, it makes it so much better to get on parts where there's a ledge. It rarely gets used cos it's frustrating to find the right spot to get the repel prompt

Finally the shield ADS speed can match the animation
Honestly, playing presidential plane in a standard setting made the game a LOT more fun.

I thought the map thing when they talked about it, was that you could pick specific maps that you wanna play instead of how they have it now where it has the different map pools, so it's a bit upsetting to me

My biggest gripe of Ubisoft is that they can never balance/nerf anything properly. They either make things disgustingly OP or so useless that if you pick the operator, the round is now a 4v5.
Look at Solis. Not only did they remove the use of the gadget in prep phase (100% agree with) but they also removed the already nerfed impact grenades. So now, you have to run the worst shotgun in the game or bring 0 utility

I think that map select thing is just a Proto type. Maybe in a few seasons you are able to choose the maps you wane play on in ranked
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The reason they a re struggling to Ballance shields is because they are doing it as a group. Imo fize shield is well balanced, monty could do with the ads change and bliz probably a speed nerf . But they keep balancing them like they are the same operator.
They should change standard or even casual so you can filter out specific maps (emerald plains) but keep other maps in

If Both recruits had double the normal amount of each gadget it would’ve made them much better and much more of a ACTUAL change.
I’ve also noticed a couple of other changes in siege, the shotgun for kapkan, fenrir got nerfed to 26 damage from 50. Also nokks shotgun got a damage buff too, so I guess they’re doing a couple of sneaky changes
Are they stupid? Nokks shotty already one shots from a distance while kapkans shotty can't kill people point blank

Ive never seen someone try so hard to not say shield are broken, you can fuckin orxy dash with a shield, not to mention how fast they are now and you reload beind them.... BROKEN. Also idk if this is just console but knifing a sheild does absolutely nothing half the time

I know 3/4 or more of the siege community has absolutely NO idea about guns so here’s a little lesson.
Bucks shotgun attachment that is VISIBLY under his barrel, is an under barrel attachment.
Nomads is mounted on the SIDE of her gun, similarly to the laser sight, always allowing the space for grips on her guns.
It’s just Ubisoft is retarded.
The airjab launcher is literally on the side of the gun, are you blind or trolling?
Grip limitation is dumb and should be removed

I really dont think the shield ADS is nerfed its more like an animation fix to match the actual ads time to completely aim.

Keep those grips away from that F2, I'm enjoying the fact Twitch isn't picked purely for F2. With the grips she will be picked just to frag out because the F2 is easily a top 3 primary weapon in terms of DPS.

@@bandit3019 I disagree that the removal of attachments should be how a gun is balanced. that’s just my personal balance philosophy. if a gun is so good it cannot be allowed to have attachments that it should have normally, then adjust the stats of the gun. why have inconsistencies? I get that a gun being OP can inflate a win rate, but theres gotta be better ways.

Down. Thunderbird went from 15000 to 10000, Sens went from 20000 to 15000 and Fenrir went from 25000 to 20000 this happens every season with a few operators.

The F90 would be fire for Deimos
Shields are extremely oppressive now and ruin console ranked play. There will always be at least one shield on every attacker round, and they almost always topfrag. Especially when they're MnK or a modded controller

Honestly, the F2 getting its grip would make it strong, maybe too strong. It’s already one of the better guns in the game, but it becoming easier to control will make it maybe the strongest or one of the strongest in the game
F2 grip would just be a speed buff for me. FAMAS with a foregrip looks super ugly to me.

Why does a grip give you faster reload?
The properties of the gun attachments are not supposed to be realistic, although tbh maybe it could actually decrease the reload time irl by making it easier to hold the gun while reloading. Almost no one hip fired any weapon, so the laser was pretty useless and given the fact that the enemies could actually see it was the worst attachment in the game. That’s why they decided to modify its properties so you gain a boost in ads speed, but if you were also using the old version of angled grip then you would be able to ads like in cod which is pretty unrealistic so they changed the angled grip properties in a way that you gain a boost in reload time, which, as I mentioned above, may be actually realistic.
Because they have no idea how guns work. Open bolts keep one in the chamber and it makes me revolt

3:05 I want to point out that the animation for grabbing them looks like the OG Drone Grab animation from when the game first released.
Also I'm so excited to play Casual maps again seriously. It was so depressing when they decided to axe the Casual playlist and then removed the Casual maps from Standard. Quick Match left a bad taste in the mouth of the casual community. Hopefully they'll give Hostage & Secure Area their own playlist soon as the Quick Match settings make it where you don't have proper time to setup. There are plenty of fun sites to hold in those gamemodes too.

The people saying "There's no new content in this season!" are (no offense) just stupid. Y9S1 was a huge update and there's still some tweaking needing to be done, so new blood is really just "Here's a viable and better recruit, and a crapload of QOL changes" AND we are getting night maps back, and stadium alpha. This update has similar content to Y8S3 which added ram, changed tower, and tweaked stuff. No one complained then, why complain now?
Well I think most people were whining because the recruit rework wasn't really anything different because from how ubi hyped it up it sounded like they were gonna get some new gadget.
