Because the light is flashing slower than the twice the frequency of water dropping you get aliasing as in Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem.

6:26 For Peter since he was asking why: As someone who used to get ingrown toenails a lot (especially on big toe) I can see why that product would be useful. You usually have to open the sides of your toe where its swollen and push out the puss and clean it so it doesn't stay infected, but it's pretty hard to do; plus they usually hurt like HELL. I'd use cuticle cutters but that product would have made things so much easier. So yeah 👍
and if you have the type of toenails that basically bend into the toe it can actually be used to correct it over time. That's one of the things they did to fix mine but with a much simpler product
@@PelleKuipers it’s more of an immediate affect I think, and it would be different for everyone. It’s to relieve that pressure and let out the puss. It usually will start to feel better after that, especially if you use alcohol or something to clean it and some healing ointment.
Podiatrist here - Ignoring that Toast didn't put the golden clamp-part on (which would've dispersed pressure to the entire top of the nail instead of essentially turning it into a TOE DRILL), the principle of the device is common. You usually just create a small brace by hand, using clippers and some thin wire, hook it to the sides of the nail (not painful, as the hooks are rounded) and then make sure to bend the brace into providing the lifting force needed for however bad the ingrown nail is. And when done, you glue it in place using nail glue so it doesn't fall off. You usually wear it for 3-5 weeks, come in for an appointment, get the nail meassured to see if it's working as intended and then get a new brace on. Rinse and repeat until the nail has been lifted out of its ingrown state.

20:08 The automatic stirrer didn't work because it was in a bowl. In the video, it was on the flat bottom of a pot, where it didn't have to climb walls to move. I still doubt it'd work in anything deeper than an inch, and that's why it was in such a thin layer of sauce in the demo video.
The bowl that they're using has a flat surface wider than the diameter of the stirrer so thats a non issue. It does work. Its just underwhelming. Its not gonna rotate faster or anything. Thats how it was supposed to work.
These stirrers do work and have been tested by other more food focused channels like Sorted. The bowl was the wrong choice as the device needs room to move.
Everybody fully understanding that Toast is correct and the water isn't actually floating but still committing to the bit to rile him up was pretty funny, ngl.

toenail corrector, I'd probably use it, it's supposed to lift the sides of the toenails if they grow too wide and curve into your toe. It's extremely unpleasant especially during long days standing up to have them growing down into your toe on the sides, so lifting the sides might encourage it to grow flatter. at least that last bit is probably the intension behind it
That first item I used when I was recovering from neuropathy in my hands. It's a physical therapist tool. I find it hilarious it's being marketed as a device to create "popping hand veins". You can also just be dehydrated and eat a bunch of sugar to get the popping vein effects too.
That ingrown toenail thing is a lifesaver for people with chronic ingrown toenails actually, after a foot soak your toenail is more flexible, and you can get it more flat, so the edges don't gouge your flesh as bad.

The vein thing is the same as squeezing one of those hard foam balls before you get your blood drawn. It’s not gonna make your veins permanently bugle like that tho. You can actually make your veins bulge like that (or as much as they can, different people different bodies and all) in like 2 mins by putting on a tourniquet, moving your arm quickly like a windmill, and repeatedly squeezing something. In the medical field we use those tricks for people with difficult to poke veins. After the tourniquet is off and you’re no longer pumping your blood though, your veins will go back to how they usually are.

Freeze drying food has a very hefty starting price to get the equipment for it, but once you do, all you’re really paying for is the electricity and some oil occasionally. If you were two sell your stuff at some local markets you could easily make your money back. For a bag of freeze dried apples near me, it’s around $8-10, but doing it yourself is like $4 and waiting a day plus you make at least 10x more than what you get in the bag

the anti gravity humidifier does humidify, just really slowly. it works about as well as running room temp water.
