Brighton Walking Tour - The Most Colorful City in England

Brighton is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the city of Brighton and Hove in the county of East Sussex, England. It is located 47 miles (76 km) south of London. Archaeological evidence of settlement in the area dates back to the Bronze Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. The ancient settlement of "Brighthelmstone" was documented in the Domesday Book (1086). The town's importance grew in the Middle Ages as the Old Town developed, but it languished in the early modern period, affected by foreign attacks, storms, a suffering economy and a declining population. Brighton began to attract more visitors following improved road transport to London and becoming a boarding point for boats travelling to France. The town also developed in popularity as a health resort for sea bathing as a purported cure for illnesses.
Brighton has one of the finest British seafronts in the UK. The pebble beach is over five miles long and has retained its Victorian glamour along with Brighton's characteristic energy and style. If you're visiting in the warmer months, you can relax on the beach or try your hand at some water sports.

I used to live in Brighton in 70s while I was studying in Sussex, great town and great brightonions.
I spent my best years of life in Brighton throughly enjoyed.
When every i visit England I make sure to visit Brighton even if it is a day trip.
All my mates have moved from Brighton however i enjoy the stroll.
I wish I could spend my retired life in Brighton and hove or Worthing .

Thankyou for watching. Brighton is indeed a beautiful coastal town ,colorful, diverse and full of life. You also get some glimpses of the Mughal Era Indian architecture in Brighton. Its also close to beautiful villages like Rottingdean and coastline is spectacular.

I’ll have a look at this video too, maybe I pop up again 😂 Last time we stayed in Brighton, back in 2015, we stayed at the Grand hotel. Very nice hotelrooms with a seaview. It was too expensive this time, so we stayed at Ibis near the train station.

Its a beautiful place.I stayed at Regency Square which was very close to Brighton i360 and the beach. It was decent priced for location .Hope you enjoyed your stay there.May be I will look for myself in your videos of Brighton :)

Well, yes you might see yourself in my videos too 😆 I still have a few more videos from Brighton, must do some editing first. I live in Bergen, Norway, but Brighton is an easy journey. 2 hours flight and a 30 min. trainride from Gatwick.
