As a veteran of Hitman and MGS, I've gotta say the stealth in this game is trash. No distractions, no lure, and just too many guards looking in all directions. It seems like the game is designed for you to take out one or two enemies by stealth and then fight the rest.
The stealth like games in Uncharted, TLOU, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, GTA etc is a complete joke compared to the stealth in Hitman, Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell
It's Uncharted? Stealth is an Option. You're comparing a Run and Gun to games literally designed around stealth?😅 Obviously MGS and Hitman did it better, (Stealth gets very boring.) That's just my opinion. I love the immersion and realism but sometimes I don't have 25 mins to clear 14 guys when I can do it in one
I just finished my first playthrough of the game on hard (still fun, not rage-inducing), but crushing is a whole different beast my man. Completing the game at all on that difficulty is quite the accomplishment, so be proud of that! I’ve only tried uncharted 4 on crushing, and my total number of deaths by the end (compared to hard) literally doubled. Well done!
I do like after kill one heavy guard just go underswim and go to the container and they will lose me and then repeat the step until no enforcement and then L1 the helicopter 😂
Omg this happened to me!! I was climbing and I literally had a moment in real life where I was thinking about how i spent hours doing this mission and how I had to restart and how Im a failure.... then I respawned and you cant even imagine how happy I was LOOOL
I'm playing this right now on Crushing and those white crates don't have C4, or anything for that matter, in them. The only explosives are the grenades dropped by enemies or RPGs if you open the orange crates. I'm playing the Legacy of Thieves Collection so maybe they took out the C4 of this version on crushing? This part is more manageable if you pop a couple guys then jump in the water. Silenced pistol and headshots are ideal, but if a guy patrols by you and you're hiding in the grass you (or nadine's AI) will dispatch them with melee. If you alert the helo or any soldiers, go under the water near where you start this area, there's sunken train cars that you can go into and come up for air in, and enemies can't get to you from in there. It's a good place to let your health regenerate when you take damage. Being under the water for a while should cause the chopper to lose you, but sometimes it takes a couple tries. If Chloe still stands upright in the tall grass you hide in, you need to get back in the water. Once you are down to 2-3 guys (killing them all seems to cause reinforcements to arrive) carefully go around and unlock the orange crates to get the RPG and extra rockets. Hit the helo with an RPG from stealth - 2 shots takes too long to reload and the helo or a sniper if you left any alive WILL kill you, so don't get greedy- then jump in the water long enough to where the helo "drops aggro". Rinse and repeat. When the helo takes enough damage Nadine will something about how the helo's armor is too strong. It's at that point where the R1 prompt will show up underneath the helo when you get close enough to it, and you can grapple to the helo and finish the encounter. Patience is key. Good Luck!
@@oOWaschBaerOo I realize this is about 7 months too late, but for what it's worth. You can throw them high enough, but you gotta aim with you gun and then hold the grenade button! Meaning holding down L2+R1 to get high enough!
This scene took me like 1 1/2 hours to complete on crushing. The succefull attempt took me like 15 min or so. A tip from my side: once you get detected just jump into the water and dive to the other side of the map, use the sunken containers as rough orientations. So just jump out kill 1 or too and then back in the water you go. Once the map is cleared collect all RPGs. Shoot the first rocket, hide, shoot, hide, shoot, clear the map and rope the heli
No longer waves of enemies charging at you and somehow panickily searching for ammo... lol... yes more of these crouching and stealth moves and that will do uncharted games more justice

The biggest problem is that killing the snipers and the RPG guy after being detected will spawn the reinforcements. Best to just focus on the helicopter instead.
Ooooooh my goooood talk about stresssssss. Followed this. Had to improvise at the end when I couldn't nap the sniper off the train near the end but I pulled it off on my 5 try thank you

@@Tatsumaki7 I was watching another tutorial and this one was pretty cool . After doing the initial killing it said to open 3 crates And if spotted dive into the water The 3 crates would have 1 RPG and 2 ammo if you didn't collect the RPG Im gonna attempt that Thanks a ton tho
@@aadipie same way you throw grenades. Just make sure your standing and not crouching in the grass so you get more distance. So draw your weapon first (aim) then slide your finger and hold the grenade button
Helped me a lot, if I try to get every enemy out in a shootout I aways die because of the poor controls (my character does not go to the cover that I want to, etc). What makes this game dificult for me it's just the controls, artificial dificulty at it's best.

The Uncharted series is literally full of insanely fun parts and other parts (like this and ALL the puzzles) that make you go, " I think Naughty Dog only cares about graphics"... I don't care who you are, after the 5th time of failing the same thing over and over, there is no more immersion. Considering all these games go for a full cinematic experience, they are fucking horrible at maintaining it with difficulty spikes like this.
Lol you have really short patience if you consider 5 tries immersion breaking. Im so used to repeating the same boss for over 100 times from soulsborne games. Also I died more than 100 times in ship graveyard in uncharted 4 on crushing and didn’t call it immersion breaking. Play on explorer mode if you cant handle it. Dont pick hardest difficulty and expect to breeze through the game
@@ardasevmis7583 me too but saying that for crushing is totally wrong. You have to know where the enemies are , what weapons you need before . Also you are contradicting yourself. If you are in it for the difficulty how can you say it's immersion breaking ? You are supposed to fail and try multiple times on harder difficulty ( if not the setting itself is useless) . The only purpose of harder difficulty is to give the player a challenge. It's like keeping the setting on give me god of war in god of war 2018 and saying my immersion was ruined because I couldn't enjoy the single shot camerawork in game.

This is a great video but it seems super unlikely someone is gonna have this near perfect scenario like in the video, or I’m gonna have to play this level a few 50+ times 🫥
@@GUV037 I went on to beating this level, just had to keep trying different outcomes and mostly used this guide, but when they saw me I would shoot the bad guys and run in the water and hide 😅
All Uncharted needed was a crouch button lol and the stealth would have been perfect.

i got them in the crates lol, my issue is that the c4 cant be thrown high enough anymore for some reason ..

Why the hell would you choose crushing on your first play through? Crushing is clearly after you know every combat encounter beforehand.

You have to aim and the throw. She can throw it further if you aim like you would with a gun.

You need to aim with the L trigger first. You can throw much further when you aim first.

You aim and throw the grenade c4 etc. basically hold down aim and the grenade button at the same time, it’ll go further.
