I'm a 15 yo Republican living in NYC, so pretty much all my friends are Democrat. Despite our difference in politics, we get along just fine and agree on a lot of things, bc, at the end of the day, both sides have many kind, genuine ppl (and not everything has to be political)
I used to consider my self as apart of the left but you and Amala have opened to me a broader outlook and I can say I'm definitely more in the middle to right now.
You're conservative socially. I'm socially a conservative libertarian, ie I'm not hip to the woke bs, but I'll support your right to live your life how you want as long as you don't oppress anyone. Economically, I am a leftist, but I'd prefer anarchy, ie no rulers. I feel we can do more together by choice rather than being forced into a false kum by ya. Under anarchy I think we could actually accomplish more together.
@@rahimn9246 Anarchy is definitely an interesting concept. Theoretically it can both fail and succeed. There is an infinite amount of possible outcomes. I believe that humanity will be brought to the brink of extinction if the world ever descended into anarchy.
I remember an Asian woman assuming I was rich because I was right-wing, white man with ancestry in America (my ancestors were LDS pioneers and were regularly persecuted everywhere until they arrived in Utah, and it was legal to kill them in Missouri). In the end as you go outside (and touch grass for that matter), the world is full of good people who want to make the world a better place. It's just a matter of how.
I'm not from America but South Africa and just because the fact I'm middle class and white, a lot of American liberals assume I'm racist which is funny because I've probably been around and made friends with more black people than they'll ever see in their lives😂
I’m happy that this video exists. As a person who considers himself a conservative, yet still has some democratic leanings, it’s good to hear that someone as outspoken as Brett can voice some of the thoughts that run through my mind.
Being from the UK i feel so so soooo sorry for my righty friends across the pond...the most powerful country on planet earth has at the present time the absolute WORST and EMBARASSING politicians in the history of the beautiful USA with a man with alzheimers for President and an even more clueless VP in cackling Kamara and if the rumours are true and Nancy Pelosi is going to run for President and somehow succeeds then i would DEFO think of moving to another country...Im from the west coast of Bonnie Scotland and ive got room for a couple of you good people in my flat 😊 i personally think the last election was rigged and the great man Donald Trump won by a country mile but that got me thinking if it wasnt rigged and Biden won fair and square tells me that people voted for a clueless twit for President out of pure spite to stop Trump winning again because from the outside looking in he did a decent job as president..somebody enlighten me please.
Only when the conversation can be civil. I am in the minority when it comes to my family's politics, but I have discovered that both parties can agree on at least 80% of issues and that's what we need to build on. It only gets frustrating when political talk gets personal, and it turns to name calling.
@@Benjanuva Most of the issues include the commonsense ideas of love of country, our Constitutional rights, improving our education system, support of the military and police. Every day people are very different than say the politicians and media people who drive some of the most divisive views that no one has. For example, a small percentage of liberals believe in "defunding the police", while most liberals understand the reason to have an efficient police force to combat crime. It's just that 20% (on either side) that have these extreme views and megaphones.
@@RavenHouseMystery, I have been saying this for a long time. You cannot outright tell when the everyday person is right or left, and a lot of the times they will have views that fall on both sides. Chronically online extremists and politicians always try to push an “us vs them” narrative and give everyone a bad name.
2:59 it’s so dumb when people say that their “faith” has nothing to do with abortion law, and that makes them pro-choice. It’s like saying that my religion doesn’t condone sexual abuse, but my faith shouldn’t interfere with your legal right to abuse your children.
Yasss! Love your comment above soul searching concerning abortion. I've worked in the pro life world for 20 years, and the answers are RESPONSIBILITY and ADOPTION. If only people could see the lifelong regret, pain, destruction that we see behind the counseling doors.....abortion is definitely not the answer. Great video today.
NOBODY wants to adopt in this country, why do you think there's thousands upon thousands of kids in foster care as it is, that's why it doesn't f'ing work...abortion should be legal for the first 2 trimesters...for any reason!
Abortion is not only about the baby, it's also about the mother. Unfortunately it has been proven that if you restrict people's access to abortion and make doctors fear to lose their licenses if they misdiagnose potentially life threatening condition in a pregnant women, it leads to much more harmful and even lethal situations. Not all people, who seek abortion, are irresponsible party girls. Some want kids but face horrible complications during pregnancy (it's not always 100% clear do you have it or not, but if missed, can be fatal for both, like a fetal death). Some are married and already have kids, but don't have the opportunity to raise another child without sacrificing of well being of their already existing kids (and giving for adoption in their case is much more morally difficult). There have been done researches on those things. Also not mentioning that the adoption system isn't great, as well as forcing a kid into a family that doesn't want it. If it all was rainbow and kittens after a child is born, then yes. Unfortunately world isn't perfect. And it would benefit to think 5-10-20 years ahead, than just "punishing" both mother and a child for getting pregnant.
@TacseraEpSekahs AMEN. Everything you just said is why I strongly encourage people on both sides to stop being so hyper fixated on abortion and start tackling unplanned pregnancy, which doesn't just lead to abortions but also children ending up in foster care and single parents stuck with kids they weren't ready for. If we address unplanned pregnancy, we can kill 3 birds with one stone.
@@TacseraEpSekahsright. This is why the choice ultimately lies with the woman and her doctor. It’s no one else’s business except to the extent that the woman reaches out for support, whatever she may decide.
And what if contraceptives fail? People can be responsible, but contraceptives are not 100% effective. Why is your answer always "be responsible" even when people are responsible? If a couple wants only one child, then should they never have intercourse for the remainder of their lives? And how are you confident that all people that have ab0rti0ns live a life of regret? People that yearn to have children sometimes have to resort to ab0rti0ns for many reasons. And adoption isn't easy at all. If ALL the kids in the foster care right now could find happy homes right this instant and those numbers go down drastically then I'm willing to support your adoption argument. Leave this decision between families and their doctors. This shouldn't be a political issue at all because whether you are a conservative or a liberal, you or someone you know might need it one day for various reasons and that's why this should be between families and their doctors, who underwent years and years of education and training, unlike politicians who have no knowledge of medicine.
@@origamistuffs yup I've seen it and they bring up the argument with India and China supporting it in their countries latter force it even but they have ridiculous population
I feel like they disagree with each other simply to disagree sometimes. Both have had their good and bad ideas, but end up biting each other's heads off instead of working together.
The problem is that both parties have become so extreme. Look at the Republican party, anyone who dares to disagree with Trump is called a RINO. And Biden has moved so far to the left, especially on social issues.
@ytsamurai1962 you know the right has actually moved slightly left in the last 20 years? The right only seems extreme because the left has shifted so far
The trouble is, a lot of the time, we emotionalise our views to the point that we can't intellectualise them. When we speak like real people, we still disagree, but we also agree so ultimately it comes down to how we deliver and how best to receive the message
If you're dealing with people who identify as belonging to a party, then they likely consume party messages (propaganda). Emotional appeals and simplifications are easier to absorb. So if people aren't able to deal in nuance, it may be with some help.
I feel like we can. I have both democrat and republican friends and we're always very civil with each other. It's the extremes that you can't have a conversation with because it's more important for them to be right than actually dialogue.
We (the normal, non-extremists) do have a lot of common ground, what's different is how we go about it For example, I do believe conservatives/Republicans are just as kinky if not more than democrats. The difference is, we know it's not other people's business what we do in the bedroom. We don't hold parades in kink gear in front of children.
You know... You might be right. Like the only reason why we think democrats are the kinky ones is because we don't go around being open about our kinks.
@@alfonsonatura1519 That's because again, we aren't open about it to everyone we know because there is no reason for them to know. But I do know that some of my republican friends are kinky and they know I'm kinky as hell too. But we discuss our kinks in private.
As a guy from the EU, I think the US can use more than 2 parties. It seems to me that only the extreme voices of both parties are heard, while the less extreme voices get no attention at all.
We need a moderate candidate with high morals and a sane head on his shoulders to run for office. This he said she said bickering in government is detrimental to our nation.
Who is to decide what high morals are? You? Me? That's impossible because everyone's morals are different(as they should be). There is NOT a definition of high morals and there never will be!
You can blame the leaders and let the voters off the hook all you want, but who exactly voted said leaders into office? And then refuse to vote them out?
@@lasshrugged true, because the elected officials shirk their duties and gave over regulatory powers especially to the burocracy with a guise of "oversight" committees...the shifts of power are contained within the numerous bills of epic( size thousands of pages )that none of those people elected actually read and understand.... remember " pass it if you want to see what's in it" Nancy P on ObamaCare (affordable healthcare act, it still isn't).
Simple... They don't actually believe what they say. They believe what they are told to. Most don't start with principle then apply the principle to an issue to reach a conclusion, instead many begin with a position on an issue then try to back into the principles that justify the position. The result is not having any consistent core principles.
As a pro-lifer and free-breather, I would guess the thinking is that infectious diseases can harm conscious, rational beings while a fetus is not even aware of its own existence. They probably treat the possession of human rationality as a more important distinction than assigning an inherent value to all human beings.
What I understand even less is being vegan and stridently pro-choice. All the arguments about self-reflective consciousness fly out the window... if the fetus can feel any pain at all, then you've already acknowledged it has rights, because you give those rights to animals.
I used to be on the left because I believed a lot of the things the left said that anyone who considers themselves to be conservative is close-minded, hypocritical, and unreasonable. I was raised by a very strict conservative mother who embodies those negative stereotypes of conservatives. When I was growing up, my mom forbade me from having a boyfriend until I graduated from college, she expected me to show up on time for school (K-12) and expected me to be on my way home from school as soon as the school bell rang. I was also only allowed to have friends during school hours but as soon as the school bell rang my family (my mom, aunts, uncles, cousins) were my only friends. I used to hate seeing a friend outside of school at the mall or at the grocery store with my mom next to me because my mom would later interrogate me about the friend, possibly tell me I shouldn't be friends with them and sometimes the friend would say something that I didn't want my mom knowing about like a boy I had a crush on. I also felt incredibly embarrassed about any of my friends meeting my mom because they would feel pity for me. Anyway, now as an adult I realize that I was wrong that not all conservatives are like my mom. I also think I wanted to agree with the left to rebel against my mom and her beliefs. I now consider myself a conservative who tries to not be the negative stereotypes that the left thinks conservatives do/say without giving up my principles or values.
I am 16 and going through a similar thing right now. Everything you say I can totally emphasize. I just realized that I don't have to be liberal to rebel against my family. There are other ways. I totally despise the idea of being on the same political wing as my family but that doesn't have to mean anything.
Dear brett. I dont think i am your target demographic. A 50 year old male never married never had children. I think you are amazing and some how have given me permission to think outside my own box. Thank you for your content. And the way you think. I cant wait to share what is ahead for you.
I am a right of center libertarian who mainly follows a lot of conservative influencers. One thing I will say is conservatives utterly fail at bringing in the younger generations or outliers of the party. Seeing many such as Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh rip on people who like anime, conventions, nerd culture, etc is a huge failure in my opinion. Don’t alienate groups of people by attributing them to a certain ideology because of their hobbies and the things they like. There is a huge unreached audience that could be reached if conservatives stopped ridiculing them.
I second this. I am as conservative as it gets, but I love anime because of the stories. Modern western TV is absolutely horrible. Stories are part of our nature, we literally live them out. Enjoying good stories is not a thing to be shamed.
Tell that to all the pissed off 13-year-old boys. They aren't trying to sword fight for no 300 lb chick with purple hair on one side and shaved off on the other.
Yes! I also consider myself a right leaning libertarian, and I follow a lot of right wing influencer s. I'm into anime and video games. I agree that they are alienating a lot of people that would otherwise generally agree with them
Same, I’m right leaning independent but I’m also a huge nerd. I’ll be quite upset if I ever miss a Star Trek convention! 😅 But yeah, I generally think that conservatives could be better at drawing people in, especially younger people in my generation, without making rude comments about hobbies and interests (I know a conservative in my life who is very much like that)
I don't even know where I am on political spectrums anymore. I agreed with things *mostly* (not entirely) the Republicans said in this breakdown but the older I'm getting the more I'm finding my ideology shifting right. I guess that whole "If you aren't conservative in your (whatever age people keep saying for this) you don't have a brain" rings true for me
I don't get what the fascination is with the right(I don't mean the extreme right, I just mean conservatism), it's as if everyone forgets why the pilgrims came over in the first place...to remind everyone it was to get away from the PURITANICAL English church and the suppression of people in Europe...aka FREEDOM. So we should be more like Europe when it comes to things like public nudity, nudity in media...that's just one thing, throw off the shackles of religion and think for yourself, do not let anyone else tell you how to live, make up your own mind...THINK! I have radical ideas for solving some of our problems that I know would go over like a lead balloon.
@@zaklex3165Ahh the radical atheist, I knew I would find one in these comments somewhere. Also , THE pilgrims were Puritans. The establishment church in England was not.
@@CC--jk6cr How wrong you are...I'm no atheist, but I also don't believe in god(note lower case)...and if you ask me what I believe, the only answer you'll ever get is I believe what I believe; it's none of your damned business, nor anyone elses business what I believe or what anyone believes...it's personal, not for public knowledge. So go crawl back under your rock and try again, maybe this time use reading comprehension to understand what someone is saying. Go back to history class, the pilgrims may have been Puritans but that's not why they came to the new world, it was to escape religious persecution...the exact same shit we're doing now.
I guess I'm in the minority on this (at least here) but I don't think that "both sides can agree on so much." I think that's a dumb flowery statement that's far too optimistic and ignores the actual things happening. The fact that our country is this divided isn't a mistake or coincidence or accident. There is no compromise position on an all out gun ban vs 2nd amendment inspired gun rights. There is no compromise position on abortion up to 2 hours post birth and no abortion whatsoever. There is no compromise position on your kid should be gender transitioned without your knowledge or consent if they are a boy who likes barbies or a girl who likes tonka trucks and parents should be allowed to parent their own kids. There is no compromise position on a completely open border and citizenship for everybody and a traditional border and immigration system. There are real issues that people disagree on here, and these issues have been pushed to the boiling point. People are civil because most people value civility. That doesn't mean we agree. And at the end of the day, on a lot of these issues, one party will win and one will lose. And until both parties (mainly the Democrats) are comfortable just leaving Republicans alone and letting individual states decide what they want to do, then these issues will keep us divided and keep driving us to violence. This whole "we can agree on so much. We're not that divided as a country." Is wrong, and it's stupid, and it's far too optimistic.
That girl is not Christian. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I'm sorry. I hate to judge, but for to say "the guy was religious and felt bad about it. 🤷🏾♀️." So smugged about it.
My roommate and best friend is a liberal. We don’t let politics affect our relationship and we rarely talk about our opinions because neither of us are going to change. But outside of politics we are so similar and we have a blast together! P.S. she has a cat and I have a dog lol
The whole “it’s my body, I can do what I want with it” argument falls apart when you start arguing for the destruction of another human. Why can’t they choose to live? Why are you dictating what they have to do with their body? It’s absurd.
@@Kyojironaxx A soul comes into that fertilized cell at conception. At no other point in the process is this possible. Therefore the defining characteristic of a human is present from the start. No one could argue that those who are mute don’t have a soul. That baby should have a chance at life. Adoption is always an option, if you feel you cannot care for that child. But the moment that baby is conceived, it is a human.
I'm generally okay with the stances people have and their arguments on both sides here -- on one hand, it's a life, but on the other hand, it's holding the mother hostage (so you could almost argue for self defense here, at least in the case of rape). I'm relatively cool with this just coming down to states' rights to decide for themselves at the end of the day. My gripe is when it takes over the whole conservative platform. It's an issue that directly affects a small minority of the country, and yet it takes a center stage instead of matters like free speech, foreign policy, property rights and taxation, and fiscal responsibility, which tend to have a much greater impact on the lives of everyone. It just doesn't seem like the biggest priority in either direction. The black market abortion situation is also a mess I'd seek to avoid. I suppose the legalization of it can seem to bring a nonchalance about it, but in my experience, folks who've had the procedure done tend to pore over the decision a lot more than some seem to think. The pragmatist in me says to keep it legal, but to apply a harm reduction model to reduce the amount it is turned to, either with adequate access to prophylaxis, sane sex education, and generally better community support so that people don't feel like they HAVE to get abortions to avoid their lives being ruined. We can talk about it being murder, but a wise man once advised that I not be so quick to throw the first stone unless I was sure of my own righteousness.
One thing I admire about Democrat liberals? I admire their tenacity and drive in socio-political matters. If Republican conservatives shared that conviction, the world will be a very different and better place than it is now.
You know, it has always struck me as bizarre to the extreme that a group of people that has for decades been all about inclusivity, all of a sudden draws the line at peoples’ lives mattering.
My closest friend of 6 years is left leaning independent and i’m a right leaning independent. While a lot of our views align, not all of them do but we’ve never let that stop us. Treat others with respect and kindness and find your common ground. But also learn to agree to disagree because there are always going to be things that you’re not going to be able to agree on but how you respond and treat that person reguardless of that is what makes it work. I chose to disregard someone’s political party when choosing my close circle because if they want what’s best for you, reguardless of beliefs, and want you happy and successful- that’s all that matters. Politics are everywhere. Why would I want them to rule in friendships or familial relationships. But I do love watching your videos. My liberal roommates probably not so much😂
My HS gf was religious and believed she could keep her virginity if we only, um... took the dirt road, let's say. What I thought was "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard" but what I SAID was "I can completely respect that" because I knew better than to try to snatch defeat out of the clutches of victory.
The thing I tend to find out about what similarity we tend to have is we agree certain things have an issue. We just have different methods of dealing with it.
3:03 no it does have everything to with that. supporting the murder of children doesn’t say that you’re Christian you’re murdering a person that god has created to live on this earth everybody deserves a right to live.doesn’t matter what their disability is.
I love getting into the “ancestor slave owner” debate 😂 my family is from Vermont and Michigan 🤷🏻♂️ bunch of Yankees. No one in my family has ever owned a slave either. More importantly I HAVE NEVER OWNED A SLAVE. so I’m automatically in the clear 😂
My family has been in the south since the 1700s. There's only one person in my entire family lineage who held a slave and she married into the family and was from California.
As someone that hates both parties, I enjoyed this video. Both sides have their heads in the butts, neither side truly cares about anyone that doesn't forward their image of what America is to them and neither will hold their leadership accountable.
The guy with the moustache made several great points there. Plus cool facial hair is underrated 😂. Hes spot on about Republicans not knowing how to win, which is a major issue.
3:04 tell that one to God when he asks why you supported the murder of His children, and the destruction of marriage. Ezekiel 16:20-22 (paraphrasing) is this of thy whoredoms a small matter? That thou hast taken thy sons and daughters and caused them to pass through the fire for the idols?

I feel as long as we aren't all extreme right or extreme left it's easier to find common ground. About the masks, I worked in the grocery store stocking shelves throughout the day. I had to take so many fresh air breaks in an 8+ hour shift it was quite similar to a smoker's break, but away from the smokers. I started wearing mine on my chin until customers came near me or just worked in the backroom or dairy cooler where no customers were around me (the co-workers didn't care if you wore the masks or not).
If she hasn't already, I think Brett should make a video explaining why she went from pro choice to pro life. As a pro choicer myself, I'd find that interesting
she give you bullet points in this video. pretty sure it was about the blame of the pregnancy and not making the unborn child the one to pay for that. morals and self accountability.
One time in 2021 I was the only one at Midway Airport in Chicago without a mask, and the only person who questioned it was my mom (who I was picking up) LMAO, neither security nor Southwest said shit, they would’ve put me on a no fly list if I tried that at O’Hare
There is no common ground. The values are diametrically opposed. Why should we share a govt if someone votes completely against your values? Country borders are physical lines of ideologies. If you don't share values collectively among your people, then physically move where your values are shared.
Nope. Having people around with different views keeps policies and society from going too far in one direction. It's a pendulum that begins to swing the other direction when it reaches the limit set by society. If everyone had the same views, there would be nothing to keep the pendulum from swinging in the same direction indefinitely.
@@rationalcynic8416 if everyone is diametrically opposed, then we can't "as a society" set limits. We can't define a limit. Right now, you can't find a school district that only teaches LGBTQ+-÷ exist, but promotes it as good. There are lots of issues that don't have middle grounds, because it half applies the principle. This would be impossible to write into law.
this is a nice video to watch after hearing my friends wish the worst things upon someone for simply having opposing political views. most of them are chill and nice people outside of a political setting which is why i'm still friends with them. we also have the same hobbies which is basically the only way my introvert self maintains friendships nowadays. but sadly there is no way i can express my political views without them either making incorrect assumptions based on 1 sentence i said, making bad faith arguments, or interrupting me before i even finish my point. i still remember the time i said "i don't like being forced to take anything" in reference to the covid vax and all hell broke loose cuz they thought i was being anti-vax or something even tho my argument was against mandates and not the vax itself. i stated repeatedly that my problem was with being forced to take it, putting audible emphasis on the word "forced" and they STILL ignored me and continued making their rebuttals based on baseless assumptions. as a result, i just don't mention my views with them cuz it's a waste of time and energy.
Ah man, I’m so sorry. I feel the same way about my friends sometimes too (I’m right leaning independent with mostly liberal friends), and they’re super nice unless politics is brought up… it really stinks. :( Kinda what happens when ya go to liberal schools :/ I agree with what you said about the mandate tho, you made a lot of valid and logical points!
In response to the cat/dog person thing, I'm a cat person, and cats are definitely libertarians. They're independent, self-reliant and clearly don't need state intervention, they're pretty conservative in that they love routines and their status quo, but they're also very vocal in their complaints when you don't feed them on time, that's the leftie streak in them 😂
I stopped really caring what side I was on a long time ago. I wish I could talk to each person and just sit down. Especially the girl who said she’s pro choice and Christian being a Christian myself. I was taught that my political views need to reflect my faith and that’s 100% correct. If I believe something then vote for a person who believes in the opposite opinion what does that make me? A lier that I don’t actually care and that I’m two faced.
Im a cat person, I value investing effort to be liked by your/my cat. It’s like: “Yes you try to buy my affection with toys and treats, but I’m worth more” and I respect the difficulty and hard work of obtaining a cats trust and affection.

Anything you observed more than church was sinful. What he tild me blew my mind. I was 12, he said the love making between a husband and his wife is the most beautiful gift god gave man and what happrns between a married couple is the epitome of gods love. Married people should love sex, explore sex in all aspects and if you and ur wife enjoy something during the act of love making that nothing whatsoever is off limits that god wants married people to enjoy each other growing the bonds of the heart, mind, body and soul. Brett/ Brett’s team: please do a short video discussing Sean O’Malley’s open relationship. He publicly humiliates his partner and child by casually talking about ‘banging hot chicks’ and sets a terrible example for young men. He is becoming a big star with a large and loyal fan base and I worry he is corrupting the minds of younger generations by normalising this type of behaviour. Real traditional masculinity is already on the decline as are healthy relationships and family structures, these type of beta males with loose morals and immature ideas are exasperating the process. He is a great fighter but no young men or women should be influenced by his twisted modern lifestyle. Outside of his athleticism, he is not a positive role model for men at all, but he is a rising star with lots of influence. Please please give us your take, our generation desperately needs your common sense and intact morals on this issue!
The first is about having a civil verbal discorce between the parties. When one side has idea, the other side pokes holes, fix those holes, pokes holes, fix holes.....ect. This makes the idea more solid and possibly have more pros than cons.
I'm not a fan of extremist on either end, but I'm fine with listening to the non violent ones. If left and right sat together at the dinner table or when they both are on the battlefield fighting for their country. That's were we will see the similarities.

Only when the conversation can be civil. I am in the minority when it comes to my family's politics, but I have discovered that both parties can agree on at least 80% of issues and that's what we need to build on. It only gets frustrating when political talk gets personal, and it turns to name calling.

As a pro-lifer and free-breather, I would guess the thinking is that infectious diseases can harm conscious, rational beings while a fetus is not even aware of its own existence.
This is well-earned wisdom right here.
I am 16 and going through a similar thing right now. Everything you say I can totally emphasize. I just realized that I don't have to be liberal to rebel against my family. There are other ways.

Do NOT give "rough greens" to your dog. Dogs do not need anything green. If you want your dog to be healthy, feed it meat.
There is no common ground. The values are diametrically opposed. Why should we share a govt if someone votes completely against your values?
Country borders are physical lines of ideologies. If you don't share values collectively among your people, then physically move where your values are shared.
I couldn't agree more
This comment is brain-dead.
yes there is
9:30 don’t forget when they rioted at the White House right after trumps inauguration
I’m a cat person but I’m a republican 😂😂
How does anyone reconcile being Christian and being pro choice. Genuinely curious.
"It's not all about you"---Same to you lady. It's not all about black lives either.
I think if every human life was to disappear off the face of the earth today, the planet would be a whole lot better off tomorrow 🤷 😂
the movement isn't saying "it's all about black lives", it's just to bring attention to a race that's still facing oppression.
You seem to be being contrarian for the sake of it, cant you not separate the philosophy from the linguistics or...are you just dense?
@@DiceDecides Ahah where ? Propaganda is not a city.
@@Kyojironaxx everywhere, situations like george floyd are a perfect example
The guy on the left at 1:22 sounded exactly like Obi-Wan with that “hello there.”
this is a nice video to watch after hearing my friends wish the worst things upon someone for simply having opposing political views. most of them are chill and nice people outside of a political setting which is why i'm still friends with them. we also have the same hobbies which is basically the only way my introvert self maintains friendships nowadays. but sadly there is no way i can express my political views without them either making incorrect assumptions based on 1 sentence i said, making bad faith arguments, or interrupting me before i even finish my point. i still remember the time i said "i don't like being forced to take anything" in reference to the covid vax and all hell broke loose cuz they thought i was being anti-vax or something even tho my argument was against mandates and not the vax itself. i stated repeatedly that my problem was with being forced to take it, putting audible emphasis on the word "forced" and they STILL ignored me and continued making their rebuttals based on baseless assumptions. as a result, i just don't mention my views with them cuz it's a waste of time and energy.
Ah man, I’m so sorry. I feel the same way about my friends sometimes too (I’m right leaning independent with mostly liberal friends), and they’re super nice unless politics is brought up… it really stinks. :( Kinda what happens when ya go to liberal schools :/
I agree with what you said about the mandate tho, you made a lot of valid and logical points!
I totally didn't click the video because of the title alone. Totally
In response to the cat/dog person thing, I'm a cat person, and cats are definitely libertarians. They're independent, self-reliant and clearly don't need state intervention, they're pretty conservative in that they love routines and their status quo, but they're also very vocal in their complaints when you don't feed them on time, that's the leftie streak in them 😂
I am a dog person but I like cats
I stopped really caring what side I was on a long time ago. I wish I could talk to each person and just sit down. Especially the girl who said she’s pro choice and Christian being a Christian myself.
I was taught that my political views need to reflect my faith and that’s 100% correct. If I believe something then vote for a person who believes in the opposite opinion what does that make me? A lier that I don’t actually care and that I’m two faced.
I was so confused when she uploaded this earlier and then took it down 😅
Im a cat person, I value investing effort to be liked by your/my cat. It’s like: “Yes you try to buy my affection with toys and treats, but I’m worth more” and I respect the difficulty and hard work of obtaining a cats trust and affection.
1:22 General Kenobi (hope I’m not the only one who noticed that 😂)
Nope I noticed
You’re a bold one!
I noticed
Yeah, that “who’s kinky now?” might get sampled ! 😂😂😂😂❤ @6:20
They seem to agree on involving the country in a senseless war.
Yesterday I started college and my psychology instructor was going over the syllabus, amd when he was going over the part about staying safe and "if you see something, say something," he said how if you see a sus individual to let someone know, but like make sure you're not just being racist and it's a legitimate suspicious individual lol. I was thinking.... isn't that kind of racist? He's suggesting some unspecified race is usually more suspicious.
Someone cannot be a follower of Christ and also be for the "choice" to kill innocent children.
EITHER they will eventually be convicted by the Holy Spirit and come become pro-life, OR they are not followers of Christ. Period.
5:15 my pastor and his wife had masks they’d wear on planes that said “resist tyranny” in big letters.😂 Apparently they got a standing ovation.
I think most common people of both parties agree that we need term limits on the House and the Senate and would agree these lifer politicians sure as hell don't need a lifetime pension when they retire
yep
I was raised pentecostal and my grandfather was very very devote, long sleeves and long pants, church women wore long skirts. I asked him about sex because they were so very strict, no TV either. He passed at 96 just a few years ago. He had 116 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great granchild.
Nope. Time for a national divorce.
Its not us who think we are right we are actually just right...
They only agree on things that will benefit them financially.
did anyone else hear the iconic "hello there" from the second guy? 1:21
I'm not a fan of extremist on either end, but I'm fine with listening to the non violent ones. If left and right sat together at the dinner table or when they both are on the battlefield fighting for their country. That's were we will see the similarities.
yep
Bro, the ads cuts she made kill me every time I love it😂
See? That is much more organic to have you read the ads when the time comes. Pre-recorded is not as organic. Proud of you Goose. I still can't believe that there are not hundreds of guys lined up to be your suitor. Besides Uncle Spatial is ready for you to have children.
What is an extreme conservative. Someone who doesn't do drugs, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and doesn't want people that are close to them to do them either?
lol you are insane and don’t know what conservative means
If I was afraid but I ain’t is the point Brett is trying to make
I think a lot of people on both sides live on the internet and don’t go out enough. 90% of people I meet don’t have politics on their mind all the time. Different opinions yes but most people can agree to disagree when we get to a conflicting point. My best friend is a liberal. I’d say I’m centre right. We always challenge eachother respectfully and we have good conversations
The federal government shouldn’t have any method to influence the decision of its citizens… it is there for foreign relations, national defense, and protecting American economic interests in other countries. There shouldn’t be a method for any federal agent to influence a private citizens life what so ever
