Using street view in Berlin is so weird because it's now 9 year old photos because the first 20 cities were mapped in 2008.
Especially in former east Berlin there has been a lot of new construction in the past 10 years. My neighbourhood in south-east Berlin looks completely different now than it does on street view.
I recently had a job interview at a high-tech company for which I tried to look up the adress in street view so I'd know where to enter to building only to find an dirt field with a dilapidated ruin.

That's cool that you can see cookie, I don't know if you can actually see any of my cats from street view. If it was available outside of Germany that would be great I would have enjoyed trying to blur random parts of my house to confuse people.
ibx2cat I tried to blur something in the Netherlands, and it worked. Within a few hours they had succesfully blurred what I requested.

Dude, consider yourself lucky. In my neighborhood Google Maps hasn't updated their maps for 4 years, and my neighborhood is kinda rural, so in street view my house is just a bunch of grass

0.75 speed works just fine, and makes him speak in a more normal and understandable speed.
He sounds so normal in 0.75 speed that I sometimes forget I have it slowed down until the next video in the playlist sounds all distorted.
they have almost all the data from germany but they arent allow to publish it.. i saw the google car many times in my city but my city never went on google street view. the problem with germany & austria is not privacy, its the fact that we have on average very old people here. i think average age is around 42 or something. and most people in germany dont know the internet, they are scared because they dont understand it..

I live in germany, at the three border point with NL and BE, and it sucks to see that the cities there on the german side are not accesible by streetview but a few kilometres away, in the netherlands, every useless rural area is mapped. Kind of dumb
Former Soviet countries have something called 2GIS, which doesn't have street view but is really nice for navigation around cities compared with Google (imo), but it only works in cities.

Bosnia is very hilly and the centre doesn't have many roads and if there are they're dirt path. I lived in Bosnia for a while and the terrain wouldn't be easily to get around in a car.

I like the idea, I like the video but the only thing id like to point out is how fast you talk, It would be better if you talked a little slower because it makes it hard to listen to what you say when you talk so fast it's distracting.

I just want to point out something I found wrong in the video and refute it. But otherwise, this is a good video, it's rather interesting.
That doesn't make sense that you say Germany is a private country since they're going full out 1984 now. Like what they have now with a recently passed bill is worse the the NSA here in America because even though they both spy on their citizens, Germany prosecutes people for having 'incorrect' beliefs or saying 'hateful' things whereas the US doesn't. They're [German government] forcing companies to hand over yearly reports of 'hate speech' (whatever that's supposed to mean) on their platforms i.e. Facebook and Twitter and if they don't get rid of said speech from their platforms, they're fined like €50,000,000 or something crazy like that.
Actually this are two different things. Why? Privacy does not include illegal activities. And Germany sees calls for violence as illegal. It also sees slurs as attacks against a person.

It's not because of restrictions but it's because google hasn't covered it yet, just like so many other countries .

I think it’s stupid that you can’t record something that anyone can see publicly just by walking by. If it’s visible for the average person from public view then it should be legal to record it. That includes the outside of anybody’s house. Of course it’s different if you have to be on their private property behind a gated community or closed off estate.

The video was a bit chaotic even if it was entertaining and informative , you talk so fast and changes places so fast it makes it hard to follow
Another place that you can't view is the Isles of Scilly, because you aren't allowed to take vehicles over from the mainland. The sole ferry service (Scillonian III) is passenger-only, so you can't take a car or van unless it is via a freight ship. This is because the residents want to preserve the feeling of island life and allowing mainlanders to drive on the islands would cause congestion and damage to the local economy and environment. I just went there on holiday, and you have to either get a taxi, the bus or hire a bicycle or golf buggy in order to get around (or you could walk: it's cheaper).
Also, I know it's obvious and uninteresting, but private streets are also exceptions. I would like to see my house with Street View; but I live in a private. :'c

It would be a 100% less distracting to have your background visible (think of the setup of youtube gamers) than to have various parts of you body clipping in and out of view.
