This keyboard is a POS, do NOT buy! The power management is extremely agressive, the keyboard turns off after approx 90-120 seconds and it takes 2-3 seconds to wake up and reconnect. This means you will constantly miss the first 3-4 characters, even a full word. Annoying. Also, the left CTRL button is extremely close to the edge of the keyboard, which means you will be constantly pressing it by accident, triggering shortcuts like CTRL+T (happens to me ALL. THE. TIME.) so instead of typing some text you'll have to close new windows and re-type... Avoid.
I also bought this keyboard and it's exactly as you say, it takes 2 seconds to wake up and you miss the keystrokes performed in that time. This is so annoying! I have a cheap dongle wireless keyboard and it responds instantly, and the battery life is of no concern. Although the keyboard has a nice form factor and color scheme, I don't recommend it at all.
