I grew up with black sabath, ACDC in Australia. My son introduced me to ramstein 12 years ago, and i asked a german woman in her mid 80s to translate some of the wording in the songs. So cool. From then on we were both hooked, love their music. RIP Illsa.
Greatest metal band ever. I grew up with KISS & Aerosmith, backtracked to enjoy Black Sabbath, Rainbow, et al., and then missed over 20 years of Rammstein because ... IDK why. Is the the language barrier? Zeit appeared in my feed about a year ago and I was mesmerized, and wondered 'Who are these guys?' I started sampling songs on iTunes, wound up with a 6 hour playlist (like, you just need to hear a smidge of a song to tell its solid gold). I'm a bit annoyed I didn't get the experience of hearing about a new release, sharing the anticipation with friends, learning Rammstein music as it emerged, etc., but it's hard to feel anything but grateful once you finally hear it all.
@@m.just.lisaba WOW... what's incredible! Bravo for supporting their touring... I was a mile away from them in 2010 when they played Madison Square Garden... didn't know anything about them at the time. It's fun to watch that concert on 'Prime' TV... amazing production quality.
Ich habe Rammstein im Herbst 2023 entdeckt und war sofort Feuer und Flamme. Mitte Januar war ich erstmals auf einem Konzert von ihnen (in Dresden). Rammstein ist mit nichts vergleichbar‼️
My 42 years old son introduse me for the band , then you can realize my age🤣 but as some say, in my teeange it was Deep purple, Elo, Black Sabbath, and so on. I have been to five of Rammstein concerts and they are so dam good, the last concert was Sweden 2022 and there i was introduse one of my grandchild who was 19 years old. And he think they were so good and absolutly the best he had see and heard, so now he is also a Rammstein fan. Thanks for sharing the vid🤘🏼💪🏻😊🔥🔥🔥❤
As a Rammstein fan, I can say this was such a detailed video! I was really impressed by the fact that you mentioned the bands they were part of before Rammstein came into existence and the GDR context. Feeling B was such a great band! Well done, looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
At 6:55 you would think that. But also note that Paul himself said in an interview that its also a note to the mechanical devices you hold doors open with, which is a Ramming stone. Rammstein never to my knowledge actually clarified where the name came from much like anything in their band, its all conjecture and opinion
You say "US took the west and Russia the east", that's is incorrect. Fact is: The US, France and UK took the west, while each part beside the part of France was more or less the same size. It was federated in 49 to the Federated Republic of Germany, what would have no sense if only the us had the west.
This video deserves more views and likes
Thanks! I appreciate that 😄

Knocked it out of the park mate. Would love to get that Laichzeit background music!
@@errorerror1337 thanks! If there’s enough demand I’ll release the music as a separate video ✌️
Their many experiences with many different bands and song styles clearly worked for them.
The most original and artistic band ever. Also 30 years and still only original members. That's rare. ❤
May 21, 2024 my little 16 year old mind was blown…and now i trying to learn German. ICH LIEBE Deutschland und Rammstein!
I love the backround songs/sounds u made

Nice video! Question, what is the background music you used? I mean I recognise they are Rammstein songs but they sound different?

@@manuelbbraun hey I never said it was a history lesson 😜
oh yes you are corr..... wait a second.... I don't think anyone cares.... This is about the band, not geography or history!
