Aughrim to Ahascragh where a trail angel helped me to avert what could have been future disaster with my hiking poles and we taste test alcohol free Guinness for the first time.

Those crosses are Celtic crosses. They were first used in early Christian Ireland ie 5th century, when there was only Christianity. It’s a design used by all Christian denominations.
