Thanks Darren. No injuries for Keith. Two injuries on other teams. One concussion, one broken ankle. It is a well planned out van build isn't it. Leigh and Tracey are well pleased with it.😀
I enjoyed that van tour, some lovely touches. Great example of meeting individual requirements. Really liked the the usb charged water supply not seen that before. Have a great weekend both, Sue x
That tap is an amazing, inexpensive bit of kit. Our friend Pippa from Worms Eye View has now bought one for her van. Hope you are having a good weekend Sue. xx
We do have one, it's a collapsible one that we set up at night and use wood based cat litter in a thick "commode" liner. Once it's packed down it just becomes a rubbish bag ready for disposal in a general waste bin. Serves us very well but we always check for local toilet locations when we park up all the same 😉
Nice van build. I enjoy seeing other folks designs. On a personal note, I've been a bit worried for you guys, what with the high temperatures over your way. How are you two and the dogs holding up? Stay cool my friends. Cheers!
Thanks Micky for your concern. It did get a little overwhelming at 40°C and the dogs struggled, especially Nab. We wouldn't have liked to have been away in our van at the time. We are used to seeing wildfires on the news in the US and Europe but it was a shock to see them over here and houses destroyed too. It is a lovely van build and well thought out. I'm direct will give people some ideas for their own builds. Have a good weekend. We promise, more countryside soon.
@@CampervanTales I was unaware of fires in England. Sad. Hope folk are okay? Looking forward to more videos of your loverly countryside, along with the occasional ice cream stop! ;) Cheers!
@@mickylawless1941 luckily nobody hurt but 19 homes destroyed in a village called Wennington and then some more around the country too. Yes ice cream and coffee stops were the order of the day, although coffee turned in to tea as we find hot tea lunch more refreshing in hot weather.☕

That's a great fit out I must say, Leigh & Tracy must be well pleased. Did you go up any 25% gradient inclines guys? That's what puts me off some places having an old van with average size engine. I find steep hills a challenging mentally ( is my van going to fail? challenging ) 😲 Great show guys! 👍🙂🚐🌈
Good to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well over there. We have been up gradients that steep, without any issue. What engine do you have? Ours is a 2.5 litre.
@@CampervanTales Yes, all Good guys, thanks. My van has a 1.9 diesel in it, 103000 on the clock, and is 29 years old. I've been up 25 deg gradients before but it's slow going, about 23mph if I remember correctly, it doesn't feel good if they go on forever.
@@CampervanTales That's the good thing about diesel engines, they can keep going for a very long time. It's great you got yours fixed, I'm sure you all missed getting away in it!
Hi we used a Contour gauge to get the round corners for our bungs. But only measured the width and height if the window in the middle - mistake! The window tapers so you need to measure the window width at top AND bottom then use the contour gauge for the corners Hope this helps
Wise choice of base vehicle, timing chain so no belt to worry about and would love an LWB. 5'6" means you won't get it classified as a campervan and not a layout that would suit me.
Do you have a link for the tap?
I have asked Leigh who owns the van to let you know. Bear with us
Love the conversion, really smart use of space
They have made a nice neat job of it
This is really slick. Love it. Something a bit different
He did make a really good job of converting it.
Smart conversion. Going over for a look see.
Thanks David. Hope you are both having a good weekend.
He has done an amzing job and I'll be nicking some of his ideas for Spogs rebuild
Just been saying to Keith we could do with window bungs for our bed windows. Would be a lot better than what we have got.
Bungs are the future 😉
@@ProjectVanLifeUK we are going to ask you if you could make a couple for us for our side windows where the bed is please

Lovely van.
It is a well thought out layout isn't it? Thanks for commenting Michael.

Lovely job 👍
Well thought out. Hope you are both well.
Nice job on the van and enjoyed the tour - great seeing how people make a space to suit themselves
We always say that people start with the same shape, it is what they can do with it that never fails to amaze and inspire😀👍
That looks a very neat fit-out 👍
It is Alex. It works perfectly for both of them. They have added a solar panel now as well. Hope you are both keeping well after the Covid issue.

One of the better discoveries from Roswell😉
Really nice van build, sorry but have to ask, my mind needs to know lol is there a potty, lol sorry, I'm so curious xx

why are these vans called LWB when my Transit SWB is nearly as long?
No idea to be honest. Each manufacturer has their own interpretation I guess
