If a white person wanted to give you millions of dollars to build a school, no strings attached, you'd be dumb not to take it. Because Lord knows black people ain't going to give you any money, not any substantial amount. Besides that they already owe reparations, so we can just add that to the pile. She would complain and just make feel like I’m a bother for even playing. I could have 1 bad day in school, maybe have a C on a progress report, or just something very little and try and threatening me telling me I can’t run track for the season. The topic on the mothers is so factual. I've experienced that, as well as my friends, and we didn't know that all our mothers were a like in their behavior until our late 30's. Why because we were left with so much freedom in our youth and I always felt like it was freedom to fail. However, I've decided to break that generational curse with my child.
FAAAACTZ! They absolutely refuse to take accountability & apologize for their actions in selling us out. They've made a mess of our culture & community. You can not make someone be the face of black America and an advocate for black people if they don’t want it. Nobody took the time to ask coach prime what his plans are or what he wants to do. We automatically place what we thought was best upon his shoulders and that’s not fair to him
The fact that Dr. Umar does no personal promotion of himself and everything we see is from other people creating the content is how I know he’s a real one. Message been the same since Day 1 and has never deviated or compromised. 🐐
Stop it, this is a great interview debate, you never see people like Umar get challenged like this, I like Dr Umar but it's good to see them get challenged, to see if they crumble under pressure. Separate the real from fake.
You call this a challenge and all the guy is doing is looking for stuff. It's so sad how black people get all caught up in foolishness about a persons life, and they miss the entire lesson and history. I wouldn't care how many children he has, or when the school will be open. He demonstrate consistency, because he is still rolling with it. What about his messages. Some female commented that he is always looking and commenting on females, so what, If he didn't they would be saying he's gay. There is a youtube female host who is just hoping to see him slip, um like, slip at what. Don't lose sight of the message as you look at the man.
the difference between loon and Umar is loon is seeing this as a business for the young content creators which is nothing wrong however dr Umar is speaking from a spiritual and educating point of view for his people systemically & not individually as loon is. so sometimes loon thinks it's an act or business move and its not. Dr.Umar is a legend and gifted and truly speak for the people you can feel it. has nothing to do with money or business even tho he has become a brand in his own right and movement for the people not himself.
My youngest daughter was homeschooled for all 4 years of high school, and was accepted to 4 different colleges. She graduated with honors and currently earning 6 figures as a financial analyst for a reputable university.
I concur. It was way too much hero worship on his part. Not to say he couldn't make the point he made, but he belabored it to the point of seeming disproportionately hyper-vigilant for Deion. I'll bet Deion's own KIDS wouldn't have gone THAT hard in the paint! LBVS
It got like that because to Dr Umar it’s all about him leaving a Blacc college to go to a white one & steered away from the “mission” and like Loon said the man got kids! Which comes before the mission.. in other words he’s bringing his kids in another light where they can be seen! Deion made his name! It’s about the kids! He trying to make sure the right light hit them & along with doing that he’s trying to be there every step of the way by being there coach where ever they go! To the point when they make it to the league he’s gone take that job there too
@@colbymixon3299 But that also makes Dr Umar's point about extreme individualism in the Black community and its resulting negative affects that much more credible. And I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Together we STAND, divided we FALL." Dr Umar is LITERALLY trying to save us all from falling because it is genocidal out here from ALL others against Black people--even by OTHER Black people. A lot of our people don't care about each other, and it showed when the 3 of them were at Jackson State. By certain accounts, Black celebrities didn't start physically coming to the games until they got to Colorado State! Giving that influx of fan and/or financial support to a PWI instead of an HBCU.

I have to push a little back on the doc, sports is a way to keep your child in a structured routine and to keep them healthy, busy, out of gangs, comaraderie, and to me holding your composure, teamwork, and believing in a common goal, also leadership for some. But, when the parents get involved in some cases, it stops being fun. I would like to let them make their own choices, and sometimes, that doesn't always work. I prefer to be more academics in today's world. Parenting is complicated. I don't want to be objective, but I like the conversation 😊!! Thank you!! Mic'2024

Thanks Loon! Great Hosting! Blessings!
He gets mad when they clap😂
Great show, but Brother...let the man speak.
the difference between loon and Umar is loon is seeing this as a business for the young content creators which is nothing wrong however dr Umar is speaking from a spiritual and educating point of view for his people systemically & not individually as loon is. so sometimes loon thinks it's an act or business move and its not.
Love Dr Umar having a feild day with yall.
I loved every part of this interview but the Deion portion. It got to emotional for the host . Otherwise great interview
Stg they just give anyone a platform nobody heard of this podcast till umar came on
Prim is a fraud , all that god giving man he claims to be is a joke. Do your homework on how he really treats people that cant do nothing for him.. He isn't a nice person thats for sure
I done hit this "skip ad" button so many times
Separation Will Be Far Greater For Black Americans.
yeaaaa, i like this host guys opposing questions( in passuon annnnd 4 tha sake of conversation annnnd 4 devils advocate) bcuz thats needed 2 hear/see umars eloquently passionate and concise responses made morrrrre clearer!!! its NEEEEEEEDED, hes preaching 4realllll real& we need him as general, need LT., Sgt.s, Captains, etc. etc. ive subscribed 2 channel.
I could appreciate the BBL is the statement in the beginning that told me there’s levels to this. His ignorance is blissful lol 😂
23:36 I remember being told that my successes were failures in his eyes and I went through my failures until I realized I love my failures. His failures didn't mean success to him, but they mean knowledge and wisdom. When I say it, it's a learning experience, when he says it, it's self hatred.

Inspiring, informative, and not too much ego. Salaam
Christ was NEVER a white man, he was a black man, from the Tribe of Judah, through the bloodline of Schem, bloodline of David. Christ is real.
I appreciate how this brother actually gave some push back to keep the conversation moving forward. 💯
I appreciate that
Great conversation surrounding women in rap. This is why I watch you bro
Bro Loon im new here. Bro your shows are BANGERS....
Also don't forget, the system took discipline out of the parents hands.
Loons you need to dig deeper #lost
Sending my love from Barbados, in the caribbean- I love Dr. Umar Johnson!!
As I watch. I came to a understanding. This was a great show. These brothers came to a understanding. The respect is definitely there. Shout out to both👆🏾👆🏾💯💯💯💯💯💯🙏🏽
This Loon dude love everything fake😂😂😂
Clear Cognizance/I Love it;
I am currently unlocking it, into a flow of consistent transcendence!
Thank you!! Mic'2024
This the first channel I've seen where the interviewer himself is getting cooked by the viewers 😭
You must can’t read
not even saying you deserve to get cooked cuz you did a good job in the interview but damn the comments 😭😭@@itsuptherepodcast

I enjoyed the interviewers energy. He made it seem like a regular conversation at the barbershop.
Very glad my light skin mother only spoke life into my physical features and brain. My mom was also what L.L cool J called "around the way" girl.
I’m glad he said something about the mother -daughter dynamic
A big part of the mission IS to open the without help from people outside the black community. It needs to be done 100% by black funding.
Umar is a great Talker...What is his success stories that he has done for the communities. 🤔
There are no success stories.
This interviewer is the example of what is wrong with our people. He thinks that Dr. Umar thinks that he is so perfect and self determined that he is purposely trying to find a flaw in him. This is the problem
👁️Interesting informative interview 👍✔️
Where's that school at Umar?
Great conversation.
Brother wasn't ready for DR Umar 😅
Great interview.
Big bro more love❤❤
