- I purchased a new set of E-rated tires with a higher load capacity on my stock 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax. The only option for a higher load capacity was to go up in diameter size. I went from stock Cooper AT3 XLT 265/60R20 (Max load 3,195 Lbs.) to Cooper AT3 XLT 275/65R20 (Max load 3,750 Lbs.).
This is the video I been looking for thank you man
Great video dad! Very informative
The width is the issue not the height. Good vid
Great video. Very informative. I have the same truck and will install the same taller tires like you. Did you ever reset your speedometer for the taller tires?
Thank you. I ended up buying the Banks Automind to recalibrate my speedometer for these new tires. Paid about $500 for the Tuner/Scanner
So did you select the tires for your truck, or someone did for you? Great tires
I did. I wanted slightly taller tires rated to carry more weight than stock tires.
Doesn't rub sitting still on level ground...
Rubs like hell with any suspension articulation.
False.
@@Icutmetal whatever you say buddy
@@jdoe7697 Dude…plenty of people (including myself) have 275/65R20’s on stock 2500HD’s without any interference whatsoever, including off road. You can choose to believe otherwise, but your statement is false.
@@Icutmetal yeah because I'm not looking at the same truck in my shop right now with the same size tires with the owner asking for a norcal because his shit rubs.
@@jdoe7697 Weird. I’m looking at one in my driveway.
