I think you will like the new Toyo open country R/T trail. They are a new R/T tire from Toyo that just came out and I have them on my truck. They look great and are quite, and they give you great traction on and off road. And for a R/T tire they handle great on road.
I actually don’t have that truck anymore nor living in the United States. It’s going to be a few years before I’m back. Currently own a 95 7.3, 2000 wrangler with a long arm (never made videos on them), and a 95 suzuki jimny that’ll get brought back. Years ago I had the Toyo RT but wasn’t a fan.
Hey I’m from California. I was wondering if you still have this truck? I bought mine in 2020 and it has a lot of the same mods! I’m thinking it’s the same truck!
Got a white long bed 6.0 like this. Painted my bow ties white like this and put 2020 high country 20’s on, really helped the looks. Kinda paid high for a 90k mile truck, debating on if I should go headers, gears, 37’s, etc. and keep the ol girl Or trade in for a single cab l5p brand new and break even, lose 1-2k on the truck .🤷🏻♂️
Those 6.0 will last forever. Unfortunately my L5P struggled with emission issues constantly. Depending on how you want to go with yours or what you use it for. I’d say keep it!
I actually sold the Duramax and then the trail boss back in September. Haven’t made any videos but just picked up a 95 7.3 and awhile back a Jeep Sahara TJ.
And I have a 2019 3500 and I haven’t had any problems with it. And I have 56,000 miles on it. And my injector balance rates are between -1.5 to 2 on all 8 injectors.
I did every option basically for a leveling kit yet it still didn’t ride the best. For what I had in that kit, I could’ve bought a true suspension lift and had a better ride and angles.
Do you remember what type of headlights you installed? Do you have a website? What size was the long light bar? Where did you get the cab lights website? When I got the truck the middle cab lights were leaking when it rained. You don’t happen to have the second key, the truck only came with one.
Those are stock headlights that have just been cleared. 40” for the long one I believe Recon cab lights When I traded the truck in, both keys were provided at the dealer in West Virginia.
Is all your plastics color matched and was all the suspension white with the ATS differential cover? Trying to see if the truck ended up across the country
@@barkerman0974 yes everything is color matched sway bar, diff cover, mirrors, rear bumper steps. The WV sticker was removed but it could see the shape of it.
@@barkerman0974 it had the white hoops around the brake discs. And the same switches and knob under the steering wheel. Also missing the center console part where you had the screen.
Isaiah Burgess The headlights you have to split apart and it’s honestly a nightmare. I have roughly 10 or so hours in it when I did mine. For the recon cab lights, they are not plug and play. I had to cut the ends off my stock ones, splice and then put them on the recon. Dropping the headliner is kind of a pain as well
Barker Man also what is the point of a cold air intake if it’s not tuned or deleted, in the video you said something about more sound, what did you mean by that?
Isaiah Burgess I had a deleted LML and a built 17 6.2 before this. There’s an independent video floating around that the intake produced some healthy gains plus I just can’t leave anything stock. 24x14 are on the way along with HSP traction bars, more piping, etc. Waiting to delete once exhaust manifolds are out just because I wanna do it all at once. On the sound, you can hear it sucking on air from quite a ways away, almost like a tuner car and their blow off valves. Definitely an increase there.
I think at that point it was just a glorified leveling kit. Had every option I could throw at the front end. Ride quality wasn’t bad but with a full drop lift in the long run would be better.
I actually got rid of the truck but no on that statement. Eye sight is pretty good but I travel a lot and have unfortunately hit many deer, bears and other wild life over the years.
Barker Man you ain’t lyin man duramax’s are it. Although I really liked the 6.2 Silverado do you have any more videos of it? That thing was fast and sounded clean! Makes me want to do the same with my 6.2 .
i have a super duty leveled on the same tires... no complaints on them from me so far!
A lot of people hate on them but I never had any issues.
Man that looks amazing! I have a 2019 HD as well giving me some great ideas so thanks! Nice video sir
Thank you !

Nice! Everything looks really good!
Thank you! Too bad that truck ended up basically being a lemon.
Hey I’m from California. I was wondering if you still have this truck?
I bought mine in 2020 and it has a lot of the same mods!
I’m thinking it’s the same truck!
I do not. I sold it in October of 19 in Beckley, WV

@@barkerman0974 thanks man!
Hail WV 🤙🏻
Nice ride man I have a 2018 what kind of injection issues were u having that it had to be fixed 2 times and what was the fix thank you
Truck ended up being a lemon and I got rid of it
leave the truck like this and throw 37s 🤯
What you have now? I just got a 19 L5p injector 7 went out dealership took care of it.
I actually sold the Duramax and then the trail boss back in September. Haven’t made any videos but just picked up a 95 7.3 and awhile back a Jeep Sahara TJ.
Nice truck. What is the overall truck height now? Does it still fit through a standard 7’ garage door opening? Thanks I working on a similar build.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you that. Truck ended up being a lemon. It would fit in a 7’ garage though
Beautiful truck dude. Hey does that intake void the factory warranty? I’d like something like that for my truck.
Had no issues with GM saying anything
Did you need to do any trimming to fit the 35” with 2” spacers?
I can’t recall for that setup. I think it was already trimmed from when I had 24x14 on it
what clears did you run?
In the headlights? There wasn’t any, just removed the lens completely. The mirrors were boost and cab lights were recon
Do I need to regear for the 35s?
No you should be fine
Over 1000 you might as well have gotten a lift kit
True
Why do you not recommend a leveling kit? And you can do your light bars from your edge CTS3.
And I have a 2019 3500 and I haven’t had any problems with it. And I have 56,000 miles on it. And my injector balance rates are between -1.5 to 2 on all 8 injectors.

They were the 5160 sir. Front and rear

@@franciscogonzalez9251 That’s wild it ended up on the other side of the country. Hope it’s treating you well
Nice man! How did you remove those amber blinker lenses?
Required splitting the headlights and cutting the amber out then resealing.
What type of spacer do you have on the front?
It’s 2” hub centric on front and rear.
Sick!! 💣
I have exact same truck with 33 12.50 and was told 35s would rub. Does your 35s rub at all?
I was trimmed for 24x14 but I didn’t rub
Any cv axel issues? And did you put a front differential spacer?
I never had any axle issues when it was leveled. Didn’t use the drop either.
what bulbs do you have in the headlights are these hids or led? shoot me a link
TheRetrofitsource 2 stroke led. I think there’s better ones out now. I cleared the headlights and added their signals as well
I have a 2018 LTZ L5P and want to do the clear turn signal lens along with the recon cab lights. I live in 304 , any advice?

Do you tow? I want to do half inch spacers but worried if it will affect my towing capacity?
Most I ever tower with it was about 10k and no issues
What size spacers and does it rub
Did I hear you right and said don’t get a leveling kit?
I think at that point it was just a glorified leveling kit. Had every option I could throw at the front end. Ride quality wasn’t bad but with a full drop lift in the long run would be better.
2 sets of injectors in 28k. Wowwww
Why all the lighting in grill, you have bad eye sight ?
I actually got rid of the truck but no on that statement. Eye sight is pretty good but I travel a lot and have unfortunately hit many deer, bears and other wild life over the years.
Wow a Limon that's to bad.,...
My truck rides like hammered ass with rough countrys 3.5" lift/leveling kit. Absolutely hate it.
I know when I was cranked a little to high so did mine. Try lowering it down slightly with better shocks.
@@barkerman0974 Bilstein B8's are waiting to be installed. My keys aren't really cranked. They both measure about 1-1/8" to the head of the bolt.
Where’s the 17 Silverado 6.2
Marcos Velazquez Traded it last July for this. Had a 15 Duramax before the 6.2 and just missed the Duramax life

Venoms are some of the worst tires out there. A better tire it will ride a dream. I have same set up as you on shocks and control arms, I have toyos
Have you ever had a set? I’ve ran toyos, nittos etc and had 0 complaints out of the venoms for a fraction of the cost.
@@barkerman0974 yea I had a set. I just didn’t care for them
