- Synths galore! This is my remix of the Mass Effect Galaxy Map music, 'cos the best part of that game is exploring the galaxy. I kinda rushed finishing it off, so it's mastered pretty terribly, but it's loud so it'll do :P I'm not the best at making synths, but hopefully the intense amount of processing make them sound okay :)
I think the image is just concept art from the game's production so hopefully that's okay.

7:07 I had to stop and play it back to make sure I wasn't imagining that there was a voice-over reciting the opening of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. The influence of that novel is blatently apparent in the third game. The reapers walk along the ground shooting their "heat rays" and blaring their loud horns.
The entire series is basically "The Seven Samurai" (Reapers are returning after a long absence to "harvest" the space faring races of the galaxy) mixed with "War of the Worlds" with a strong Lovecraft influence.
Me too - I almost thought it was from the Lensman series
This sounds like it was straight out of tron legacy.

Just rewatched Tron after playing the Mass Effect Trilogy for the X time and I have to say that I agree.
I can imagine this beeing the end scene theme for legacy.
Every time I revisit this remix, it overwhelms me. It evokes my nostalgia in a way that's hard to describe, even more so than the original tune.

Had to edit for this. Man, the drop at 2:20 is SICK! But the one at 5:14 doesn't quite have the same effect. I think that to make this track EVEN BETTER, you should turn down or even fade out the vibrato for that and it'll be perfect! Just a suggestion, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

While it is a good remix on it's own, the original track is a soft, ambient piece of music. If i played this while roaming the galaxy, it just wouldn't have the same affect.
That is SR2, but I like the SR1 better, it has a prettier touch, although I don't criticize this one, it is also very pretty. 😍🥰👌👍
