i played all mass effect games and I still liked andromeda, it had that immersive feeling of exploring a new galaxy. I didn't play it till about 6+months after release so alot of things i guess had been bug fixed by then. Still kind of sad in a way we will never be going back to the andromeda galaxy to finish the story.
I played it first time on 2020. I platinumed it. I can say that after 4 years of it, the game is decent, and has possibilities for a sequel. It's quite poetic, bioware tried something new and went down a new path with hope by making andromeda just as the andromeda initiative took off to explore something new with hope. Didn't turn out exactly as planned for either but you know what, that's OK. We are allowed to fail, we're human. P. S I personally enjoyed the game, soundtrack was lovely, the idea of taking a journey into the unknown really appealed to me, I love the tempest and I enjoyed the whole crew.
I agree - the idea of exploring a new galaxy was a great one. Honestly, the game is pretty good too, once they fixed the really bad animation bugs. Some of the side quests are the worst sort of fetch quest, but I just ignore those. The main arc plus the vaults makes for a fun run.
"Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God." -John Gillespie Magee Jr, 1941
This theme and the feeling of actually moving through space were one of the few things I actually really liked about andromeda. How it handles the way space travel is presented in a much more organic and diegetic way is probably the only thing in which it is rightfully better than the original trilogy
The soundtrack for Mass Effect: Andromeda was amazing. It was something Bioware got right. From the intro music in the startup screen all the way to the end credits, Under the Stars by AURORA.
Not to be nitpicky, but John Paesano is the one who got it right, as he composed the theme. Keep an eye on his career; maybe one day soon we will get to hear his work in games again. He's done some great work across all mediums.
Then turn up the music slider in settings? All the way, maybe turning down everything else then at the same time turning up your speakers/TV so the music will be louder then the other sounds.
the best kind of music is the one which doesn't make you feel conscious about it playing. You just feel good. That's why a lot of (high end) restaurants and shopping malls have subtle music playing, which makes you feel good (you tend to buy/eat more when your mood is good), but you don't realize there's music playing.
It sucks that I stopped playing this game because of the bugs that prevented me from completing objectives for missions. This game was far from anything the trilogy was, but it was decently ok when you look through the flaws. EA removing support from this game by shutting down a studio that obviously had development problems was the biggest reason I think people lost faith. DLC could have easily redeemed this game if done right.
I replayed the game a way after he came out, with all the patches and bugfixes, it's already really better, but yeah, somes DLC could have brought some answer that we still don't have
I am playing it again now and it’s actually pretty good if you see it as more of an lighthearted game over the darkness and seriousness of the trilogy. To me the major problem is the random stuff added to the story that wasn’t needed (like the end of Alec’s Ryder memories- the very end of it) it wasn’t needed
It's a 6.5/10 in my book. Not the 9-10/10 games from the trilogy, but that is average to good. Gameplay and rpg systems are very solid, the rest is underwhelming compared to what came before.
Exactly. gameplay wise, it is the best in the series just missed the mark a bit on the story. If it wasn't as glitchy and buggy when it was released, I doubt it would get the hate it got/has. I honestly thought whatever direction they were going, it could have fleshed out the story more on DLC and a sequel.
The menu theme gave me hope...very powerful. Unfortunately, the story and characters didn't hold the same weight that the soundtrack and graphics. Beautiful planets. Terrible characters.
The fact that this music is composed by John Paesano doesn't surprise me. After all he composed the Maze runner Trilogy Movie Scores and they all sounded so amazing. And this sounds just as great. Great upload. I love it.
it's pretty much a spinoff game in the Mass Effect universe with very little to keep it connected to the source material. But yes, it should still be considered a Mass Effect and there were some good moments.
say what you want about Andromeda, but the mechanic is flying through systems in real time, with this playing, was a stroke of genius. hope this ship systems transfers to the new game
Agreed, but not as short as I'd expected. The soundtrack was a pleasant surprise (for me) when I first played Andromeda -- one of very few aspects of the game nearly on-par w/ the trilogy.
Despite it's flaws this game is absolutely beautiful in terms of scenery and graphics. While it's story was dull, the adventure most definitely was not, best adventure I embarked on since Mass Effect 1 which I played and finished in 2019 and I was impressed with it.
Although mass effect andromeda is bad compared to mass effect 1,2 and 3 the developers actually nailed it with the space exploration music and also the main menu music
I knew yall would have an extended version for me to fall asleep to, idk why but this song and a few from destiny give me goosebumps. Actually alot of music does but ever since I was a kid ambient instrumental music has always been my favorite.
Absolutely in love with this theme. As soon as I heard this, the moment the game gave the opportunity to explore the galaxy, I knew I was in for an adventure, and I felt that tinge of missing ME 1-3 but I was excited and nervous and happy to be exploring again, as when playing games exploration is the 1 thing I absolutely love. Reading the comments, and while I totally understand where people are coming from with their feelings on the game, IMHO the only thing to nitpick about ME:A at this point are the technical issues that come with it --- bugs, glitches, weird facial expressions if you think those count --- as years later they are things that people still deal with. Hell, I wrestled with game stability for a while as I had to tune my VRAM lower and up my fan speed and turn off the DLC's (I play on PC) but overall I absolutely ENJOYED the hell out of the game. I enjoyed it because I treated it as its own thing, rather than keep comparing it to ME 1-3. It's a new story in a new galaxy yet still within the ME universe. I knew that if I kept comparing it then I'd be miserable as hell --- but honestly, for as much as I miss my Shepard, I needed a new adventure. I wanted to see the potential of this game too. I fell in love the moment the game allowed you to check out systems and explore them. I loved staying in the galaxy map because of the music and they absolutely nailed the spaceflight in there (it always reminded me of Elite: Dangerous, i love that game so much.) Environments were gorgeous, albeit I didn't like colliding with little things like pebbles and rocks (an issue I had with Inquisition (Frostbite wasn't so good for that game tbh, then again it was their first time to use it for that). Architecture was stunning. Designs for people were alright, but could do better, and I do think they are getting there. (I know it was a different team or "B team" working on ME:A so their design choices are slightly different, but they've got potential as a team all the same!) Story was compelling. They took what could have been from ME 1-3 (dark energy plot) and turned it into The Scourge, and made something out of it for a new galaxy. We needed that; new adventure after all. We were given the big bad (the kett), and we had an ancient civilization, and plot twists throughout sidequests and how they related to the main story. I absolutely ADORE the Angara, they remind me of my culture; I love how open they are and how they wear their hearts on their sleeve. Characters were great, Companion banter was funny and enjoyable especially while on the road; companions themselves felt realistic, for me at least, especially when dealing with internal crises and their thoughts on he bigger picture. I played the game without a guide, 100% scanned every planet, 100%'d viability every area, did every sidequest, read every datapad I could find, did my best to talk to every NPC just to see if there was anything relatable to ME 1-3... and you know what? I was NOT disappointed. I loved the callbacks. And... man oh man are you in for a SURPRISE when you complete one of the major sidequests for Ryder. I rambled! Sorry. It's just that I fell in love with this game! 😂I know some people call the writing for ME:A ✌🏻"mediocre"✌🏻at best, but honestly?.. Just remember it's not the main team for ME 1-3 that worked on this ---it was another, and they really really really tried. My best advice for people is to just jump in and try to enjoy the game on its own and immerse yourself in it; stop nitpicking and comparing it to the main games. It's a new adventure for you in a different galaxy, yet in the same universe as the main games. I know you miss your Shepard, but give ME:A a try. There are many compelling points in the story and sidequests and this game REALLY had potential with its plot hooks. I finished the game recently and OMG I still have brainworms over all the info acquired post-game. Time to miss ME:A again and sit here dreaming of exploring new planets and clusters and new worlds while listening to this more... .🌃
One thing you can trust AAA games with, is having some solid music, and ME:A was no exception. Personally, I just wish they had made the technology of the other Andromeda species more alien. This galaxy didn't have the reapers guiding their technologic path. We could have seen more energy weapons and the like. I mean, sure there was the stand in for the Prothean style extinct forerunners, and that was cool, but the still living species could have been more unique.
I love ME Andromeda but one thing it does perfectly, the traveling between planets or stars just feels mysterious, fearful plus not mentioned the briliant map theme with it
I like the ME;A galaxy map theme still has hints of the original Uncharted Worlds, but is still clearly a different song. Yet another reminder that you're not in the milky way anymore
Am I the only one who thinks it's really sad that we got only one cluster to explore instead of the entire Andromeda galaxy? Imagine a map of Andromeda together with this soundtrack... would've been awesome
For those of you not aware, this map isn't the whole Andromeda. It is a star cluster called Helius. Future games will open up all of Andromeda and I can't wait!
@@isaacthelastn7687 I hope they do NOT return to Andromeduh. I want the Milky Way again, with the Citadel. Honestly I want my crew back and ME3 redone.

I loved my time in ME Andromeda, I loved the characters and the story. It is very close to my heart, I think that's why I love the soundtrack. I'm so very grateful they gave me this experience 💌
The first time I hear this music I instantly liked it, tbf I liked Andromeda as a whole. Now, I always loop this music when playing Stellaris. It fits so perfectly with the empire that I always play as (xenophile, pacifist, materialist).
Andromeda had such potential. I’m considering trying to replay it again. I beat it when it came out. Tried to replay it a few months later and fizzled out. Think it’s time to try again. Maybe try to look at it from less cynical eyes this time.
..That's what I did. I played it to a story completion when it came out and thought it was very disappointing, then moved to the multiplayer which was quite good. I came back this year and played the campaign and it was excellent, so good I've done 2 more play throughs since. The main problem I had originally was I didn't like any of the squad mates like in the other ME games, so I just started looking at them as work colleagues instead and focused more on the story, my build, the exploration and the crafting.
@@treycarter6736 Replayed it recently, and the main problem is the characters. Mass effect 1-3 made it to a legendary status for his writing and characters, Andromeda got us an open world and great gameplay but forgot that without a good story and companions it was ultimately useless for a mass effect game.. Our main character is pretty un-interesting to be honest, and the companions are almost all terrible...
@@Zoggest, I agree. Anytime I try to replay it, try being a key word here, I end up skipping all dialogue and just getting back to combat and exploration. The best parts of the story to me were Papa Ryder’s logs and memories.
It's a amazing soundtrack all around. But will never make up for the pain. No matter how long you sit, coming back always hurts. Shouldn't be such heartbreak..
People complain about this game and I get it after playing ME trilogy... But this game is really good! I enjoyed it alot, ones you get through the whole new galaxy build up it's just pure fun! Combat is fantastic with all the options. I went from soldier to infiltrator to explorer. Can't wait for new Mass Effect game :)
I think one main reason I didn't like Andromeda that much, was the lack of music. I loved the Galaxy Map Theme from the beginning and had high hopes for the rest of the game. Sadly I can barely remember a handful of tracks. A good soundtrack adds so much to the atmosphere of a game and Andromeda mostly failed that point.
Honestly, I think that's just modern video games. There's a trend towards atmospheric, ambient noises rather than actual soundtrack. People tend to either love it or hate it.
@Mira Meirelle I'm fine as long as there is any ambience. But I had the feeling that Andromeda had literally nothing. Neither music nor any sounds. I remember cruising on Elaaden and I couldn't hear anything but the Nomad. For me, that made the world feel even emptier. Something like that might fit with a Simulation, but not with a Fantasy-/Sci-Fi-RPG.
ME: Andromeda has just a bad plot. Rider is not the person that you want to be. It's not attracting as Shepard. Shepard character gives you the feeling that you actually do something WITH Shepard and he/she gives you opportunity to say what you want. You and Shepard are playing together (cause only if get together we can stop Reapers). Rider doesn't create that feeling, because dialogs are built in such way that you don't want to express or the game just don't care about what you wanna do. There is not to much you can do. No interesting side missions, discovers at all. Also original Mass Effect takes the plot very seriously. If we watch all modern movies, games they are making fun of sci-fi, it's pretty different from making fun IN the sci-fi (the original ME trilogy has cute sense of humor, that doesn't disturbes you). The examples: the last Alien, Terminator and Predators. In 80s it was a movies in genre thriller, horror and action. Now it's like cheap comedy/family movies. It's the trend to sell some shit to the whole world because you can put less money in the production and get more money. In the past many media production companies oriented to taste of US people which works good for me, even if I'm not from USA. I like the battles in ME:A, mechanics. It's nice. Shaders are good. Not to mention bad face animation. But what I like in old trilogy is a big field of view and adaptation for it of each element. It feels that game is "closer" to you. Some people dislike it, but I think it's super awesome. In the original ME I like the battles in each, but for different reasons, but it's probably best in the ME 2. I like a huge spectre of armor and weapons in the first ME and shooting difficulty of the third ME. If it was combined...... ME:A is definitely better in shooting than all three games. IMHO George Lucas said that the sound is a half of the movie, but that's all that I can say and that's the problem: market researches see that not so many words about music in their research and they decided to cut the budget for music, cause they think that if people can't tell something important about music, then it's not so important... What can I say about the Galaxy Music? Imagine that my feeling are exactly the same - I felt the hope, that ME:A will not suck if has such music. Coincidence? I don't think so.
It deserved every drop of it. It was a disgrace to one of the most incredible franchises ever made. We cannot let the bar sink that low without kicking up a fuss.
The real issue is they saw how well borderlands was doing and they wanted to do that. But mass effect is a space opera not a borderlands like experience
I completely agree, the loudest ppl in the room always get the most attention, but they're usually just snobs and unhappy in general, imo. Andromeda is very close to my heart and I've played everything ME has to offer, very grateful for my experience.
@@BearOdysseyTV Oh please. If it was that bad then why, years later after the hate train died down are people like oh yeah I guess it is actually quite good? There's a vast difference between legitimate criticism and entitled hate and boo hooing of gamer dudebros about the dumbest of issues like sis Ryder not being f**kable enough. Sorry you didn't get your space cop Shepard back and gurning over Miranda's a$$ but MEA was a great game with a good and compelling story which was meant to be completely different to the Trilogy and built over time. People like you with your ridiculous expectations ruined it, not the devs who never got a chance to fix it because you were all too busy hating instead of supporting. Typical BioWare 'fan' fail.
I wish for something like a Mass Effect +. Freelancer existed. Easy to generate user-based stories, multiplayer squads,. Great music, especially ambient space music.
The music sounds like you're exploring the Milky Way, but something is off - something is distant - and there seems to play another kind of music overlapping to it, changing it.
I have just tried to mix the Andromeda Galaxy Map Theme with the classic Mass Effect's Uncharted Worlds... Sounds perfect to be honest--they both have the same tempo. Edit: Mission abort, after a good six minutes it doesn't seem to go together anymore :(
this game still beats star field, I cant believe it. and its not even peak mass effect, og mass effect trilogy still best space genre ever made to this day
Shame we aren’t getting a 2nd Andromeda game, at least for now. If Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, and Mass Effect 4 manages to sell well, maybe there will be some hope for the this spin off franchise that still has potential
The music is good in the game. And I would also like to finish the game itself, meaning the graphics of faces and facial expressions, because the game itself is not bad.
I am playing through Andromeda right now, right off the back of playing MELE for the maybe 4th time. I have to play all 4 games when I pick ME1 up. This theme saddens me so much. Andromeda doesn't have Shepard and that's ok! Ryder is new, he is an explorer and the music in the game I think perfectly sums up exploration and wonder at a new galaxy, one that has not been trodden by Humans, Turians, Asari, Salarians etc. I hated Andromeda when it first came out but I took another chance. Are there flaws? Yes, ofcourse there are between massive chunks of shocking writing and quest lines that take forever and don't seem to go anywhere. However, there are glimpses of brilliance at what Andromeda should have been. I do like the game, setting, music, companions and romances and I love Ryder, he is young, inexperienced, thrown into this massive galaxy that is uncharted. He is not an N7. He is not a battle hardened soldier. And that is good.
Near the intro you hear the same baseline from uncharted worlds. Although...this is just an imitation to what the original trilogy has accomplished in the aspect of wondering what journey is ahead of you.
The og trilogy left a high bar and this game had big expectations. The idea of the game is good. But i think this game would end up being as a preview for a possible sequel , if they would plan on doing one in the future.
About to change my mind on Andromeda, after playthrough it 3 times alrady. Some feedback i like to share. - Music is immersive deep dark ambient give so much atmosphere for exploration. - Combat - Customization, specialization and research with no boundary's. - The idea of entire race can create life in not livable cluster of galaxy that twice size bigger then Milky Way - not like original ME -where evolution was a tool and trapped in mistake of malfunctioning AI leading to disaster and genocide. - Nomad APC - Graphics, but i guess it can be better and more modding capable if it uses Unreal Engine 4 instead, as original series - Jardaan\Remnant\Scourge exploration - there is some mystery in air about it... - Planet exploration, viability, fixing atmosphere And most important - you are not super solder running around galaxy and killing everything that has more than 2 legs. You are nerdy explorer, who seek a new home and beginning, and discovering that entire mission was to conserve civilization in new galaxy, away from Reapers threat Game has potential, but its a pity that it was abandoned and unfinished(Quarrian ark, continuation of story, expansion further in galaxy, etc) and bashed by fans due to many bugs, that were fixed eventually with patch. People just judge this book by its cover, because of overhype and emotions. Considering how many crap today- ME Andromeda is a good place to return to. In hope next Mass Effect will connect this story's somehow (as trailer show us) and Mass Effect journey will continue....
I dont hate it for what it is, Reminds me a bit of the spore galaxy music, but its not a very good mass effect theme, its not that hard to just remaster or remix the old theme.

I agree - the idea of exploring a new galaxy was a great one. Honestly, the game is pretty good too, once they fixed the really bad animation bugs. Some of the side quests are the worst sort of fetch quest, but I just ignore those. The main arc plus the vaults makes for a fun run.
I play this whenever I use Google Maps.
😂
On god 😹😂
I use the original trilogy
genius
And so shall I
Uncharted Worlds and its children are beautiful
When i bought Mass Effect Andromeda in 2019 i thought i would hate it
but i ended up enjoying it and i cant wait for the Next Mass Effect game
You know what, after playing this game I started learning astronomy . Such an inspiring game
I wanted to like this game so much.. there was plenty of little stuff to take in, this is one.
Your face got tired.
Just the animations and music from the game are a wonder of modern technology.
"Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."
-John Gillespie Magee Jr, 1941
Very nice!
Kinda reminded me of Ashley Williams in the first Mass effect game when she quotes poetry.
This theme and the feeling of actually moving through space were one of the few things I actually really liked about andromeda. How it handles the way space travel is presented in a much more organic and diegetic way is probably the only thing in which it is rightfully better than the original trilogy
Yes andromeda has a bunch or little beautiful things about it. I really saw what the developers were trying to pull off...if that makes sense.
The music is saying: All good things eventually comes to an end, enjoy while it lasts 💜
booted this up for the first time in years to test out my 3070, was surprised to learn that this theme had apparently grown on me.
Should have been louder in game, you can bearly hear this gem
Then turn up the music slider in settings? All the way, maybe turning down everything else then at the same time turning up your speakers/TV so the music will be louder then the other sounds.
the best kind of music is the one which doesn't make you feel conscious about it playing. You just feel good. That's why a lot of (high end) restaurants and shopping malls have subtle music playing, which makes you feel good (you tend to buy/eat more when your mood is good), but you don't realize there's music playing.
The best of galaxy map themes. It just so fucking good
It sucks that I stopped playing this game because of the bugs that prevented me from completing objectives for missions.
@@arranmorton6903 I'm glad you're enjoying it! I might give it another try after playing ME remastered.
This, the menu theme, and the romance theme are my favourites from this game.
The menu theme gave me hope...very powerful. Unfortunately, the story and characters didn't hold the same weight that the soundtrack and graphics. Beautiful planets. Terrible characters.
I like this version way better. Especially the beginning and throughout.
Perfect for surfing the web and researching things.
Agree and thats the reason i put a request for the Andomeda galaxy map.
Hackett out.
The fact that this music is composed by John Paesano doesn't surprise me.
After all he composed the Maze runner Trilogy Movie Scores and they all sounded so amazing. And this sounds just as great.
Great upload. I love it.
Not a bad game at all. I enjoyed it very much. Let’s not forget that it’s still Mass Effect.
it's pretty much a spinoff game in the Mass Effect universe with very little to keep it connected to the source material. But yes, it should still be considered a Mass Effect and there were some good moments.
say what you want about Andromeda, but the mechanic is flying through systems in real time, with this playing, was a stroke of genius. hope this ship systems transfers to the new game
Imagine it in VR.
Tries hard to reach that "Uncharted Worlds" ambient mood, but falls a little bit short. Good track anyway!
Agreed, but not as short as I'd expected. The soundtrack was a pleasant surprise (for me) when I first played Andromeda -- one of very few aspects of the game nearly on-par w/ the trilogy.
It's much better, the way better
I actually like it more. Strong DXMD vibes. I refuse to believe Paesano wrote this, I didn't like most of his other work.
@@vengefulancient his tracks on andromeda are really good
@@microqueen69 I sadly can't agree with that. This is the only memorable track from that OST I've found.
Despite it's flaws this game is absolutely beautiful in terms of scenery and graphics. While it's story was dull, the adventure most definitely was not, best adventure I embarked on since Mass Effect 1 which I played and finished in 2019 and I was impressed with it.
I enjoyed this game more than ME1. It was new and different but still in the same universe. I am really disappointed that there won't be a sequel.
Man...I really wanted this game to do well. I still think to this day that they could tell more stories on this timeline.
(I know it was a different team or "B team" working on ME:A so their design choices are slightly different, but they've got potential as a team all the same!)
Story was compelling.
Keep up the good work Gaming Ambience
it's very similar to the original trilogy with an added sense of growing disconnect
Am I the only one who thinks it's really sad that we got only one cluster to explore instead of the entire Andromeda galaxy? Imagine a map of Andromeda together with this soundtrack... would've been awesome
Wouldn't have made sense without Mass Relays
No matter how bad Mass Effect Andromeda is. It is still Mass Effect.
For those of you not aware, this map isn't the whole Andromeda. It is a star cluster called Helius. Future games will open up all of Andromeda and I can't wait!
I doubt they will return to Andromeda
@@isaacthelastn7687 I hope they do NOT return to Andromeduh. I want the Milky Way again, with the Citadel. Honestly I want my crew back and ME3 redone.
@@tonycmac Rumors of a remaster next year!
@@GatoSanDad I might even get it. However, I am not going to pay for ME3 again unless they fix it.
tonycmac wish granted in 2021 we are going back to the superior trilogy 👍 and I can’t Fucking wait and I hope they make a sequel 600 years later in the original Milky Way trilogy timeline I want to know more about that planet that boy and the old man was on!
anyway andromeda was ok but I don’t really care about this unverise of andromeda if it takes the second arc or third game story arc to get me invested and not the first arc then it fucking failed in my eyes.
If they do continue it I really wouldn’t care much the introduction was boring
Anyway get ready come 2021
Commander shaperd :the reapers there here 👂
Horn noise 😱
I think Andromeda would have been loved if it wasn't a game but rather a book. It fits perfectly with scfi books. Think about it
And if it wasn't mass effect.
i feel like this is the best remix of the map theme from all mass effect games.
The best mass effect game i love it
Not the best but it's a good game
Not gonna lie, I actually quite liked Andromeda... I mean sure it had its jank but... overall I was pretty entertained.
Love this channel
I loved my time in ME Andromeda, I loved the characters and the story. It is very close to my heart, I think that's why I love the soundtrack. I'm so very grateful they gave me this experience 💌
The first time I hear this music I instantly liked it, tbf I liked Andromeda as a whole. Now, I always loop this music when playing Stellaris. It fits so perfectly with the empire that I always play as (xenophile, pacifist, materialist).
I love the galaxy map themes so much. They both (Milky Way and Andromeda) represent the galaxies so well
It's a remix of Uncharted Worlds. But it's a really good one.
This track also meshes nicely when scanning planets and moons in Elite: Dangerous on long expeditions into the black.
"We are travelers, constantly moving forward and looking back. Alone and as one. We have no choice but to try. For our insatiable curiosity.”
The main problem I had originally was I didn't like any of the squad mates like in the other ME games, so I just started looking at them as work colleagues instead and focused more on the story, my build, the exploration and the crafting.
i tied but i can't. every time it gets so boring.
I tried and fizzled out again. I dunno, it seems like every time I get to Eladeen, I just lose interest.
Mass Effect and Elder's Scrolls was pure immersion ecstasy! There will be more magic! Never stop gaming!
What's weird is that its not even GALAXY MAP its just some Andromeda cluster.
Thanks, I was looking for this.
Somehow, just somehow this soundtrack reminds me of Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. Just the beautifully vibrant beats reminds me of it.
IMHO
George Lucas said that the sound is a half of the movie, but that's all that I can say and that's the problem: market researches see that not so many words about music in their research and they decided to cut the budget for music, cause they think that if people can't tell something important about music, then it's not so important... What can I say about the Galaxy Music? Imagine that my feeling are exactly the same - I felt the hope, that ME:A will not suck if has such music. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Interesting. I always found the trilogy's soundtrack to be very bland and unimaginative, while Andromeda's OST was very fitting IMO.
The Aurora track at the end really worked for me and got me into her music but each to their own.
Despite all its faults, the galaxy map & music delivered hard in andromeda!
This is so beautiful
galaxy map themes are always awesome
I do appreciate that they tried to make this one sound distinct and different from the original trilogy one
this game did not deserve the hate I spent hours hanging out in the galaxy map such a good track thank you
It deserved every drop of it.
Man, this nostagy is a tear jerker :D
I wish for something like a Mass Effect +. Freelancer existed. Easy to generate user-based stories, multiplayer squads,. Great music, especially ambient space music.
I keep forgetting that this was just one cluster in ME Andromeda whereas in ME trilogy you got to travel the whole galaxy.
Edit: Mission abort, after a good six minutes it doesn't seem to go together anymore :(
The only good thing to come out of Mass Effect Andromeda lol
Unpopular opinion but this is better than the ME1/ME2/ME3 one.
It is a remix
Nice tune, got me right away. Gonna play andromeda one day i'm sure!
I feel tranquil here
Nothing beats the original but damn this was a good way to set the mood, all of Andromeda's music was good from the get go
this game still beats star field, I cant believe it. and its not even peak mass effect, og mass effect trilogy still best space genre ever made to this day
I love this! A great idea putting some videos together regarding it, nice one.
Dang I love this game
Ahh, very nice. Andromeda version music. Just as nice as Milky Way version. I shall put this in my colorful marble collection. 💙 😏
i like this more than the older version
Shame we aren’t getting a 2nd Andromeda game, at least for now.
If Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, and Mass Effect 4 manages to sell well, maybe there will be some hope for the this spin off franchise that still has potential
The Maelstrom club "Totentanz" is probably a bit more on the level of Mass Effect's Afterlife, though still much smaller in scale.
Mass Effect 4 will have ties to Mass Effect Andromeda, I heard somewhere
Maybe the final ark is a prototype relay, thus opening up Andromeda to the milky way. 😎
This song and the jump jets are all Andromeda got right.
I think I see E.A pulling Mass Effect into Andromedas super massive black hole, along with Dead Space, and Star Wars.

This game was great, I don't get why had so much hate on it.
The og trilogy left a high bar and this game had big expectations. The idea of the game is good. But i think this game would end up being as a preview for a possible sequel , if they would plan on doing one in the future.
Mass effect is.love mass effect is.life
"I can't get jiggy with this shit"
as meany issues as i had with this game the music was always good
Love the games
Can you give us a link to where you're getting these seemingly perfectly looped video sequences? I want to use them as my desktop background
Everything on this channel I create myself, and I don't have them anywhere else. Sorry.
About to change my mind on Andromeda, after playthrough it 3 times alrady.
Some feedback i like to share.
- Music is immersive deep dark ambient give so much atmosphere for exploration.
- Combat
- Customization, specialization and research with no boundary's.
- The idea of entire race can create life in not livable cluster of galaxy that twice size bigger then Milky Way - not like original ME -where evolution was a tool and trapped in mistake of malfunctioning AI leading to disaster and genocide.
- Nomad APC
- Graphics, but i guess it can be better and more modding capable if it uses Unreal Engine 4 instead, as original series
- Jardaan\Remnant\Scourge exploration - there is some mystery in air about it...
- Planet exploration, viability, fixing atmosphere
And most important - you are not super solder running around galaxy and killing everything that has more than 2 legs.
You are nerdy explorer, who seek a new home and beginning, and discovering that entire mission was to conserve civilization in new galaxy, away from Reapers threat
Game has potential, but its a pity that it was abandoned and unfinished(Quarrian ark, continuation of story, expansion further in galaxy, etc) and bashed by fans due to many bugs, that were fixed eventually with patch.
People just judge this book by its cover, because of overhype and emotions.
Considering how many crap today- ME Andromeda is a good place to return to.
In hope next Mass Effect will connect this story's somehow (as trailer show us) and Mass Effect journey will continue....
I like your vibe dude, we understand on this. 👉
I dont hate it for what it is, Reminds me a bit of the spore galaxy music, but its not a very good mass effect theme, its not that hard to just remaster or remix the old theme.
From 2:00 to 2:30 is my favorite. You can hear the original Galaxy Map theme and it actually gives me goosebumps because of how serene it sounds.
*insert Suvi's quotes* 💕
this shitty game is 2 years old now my god how time flys yet they DIDNT FUCKING MAKE IT BETTER
