    The quality of your practice has been confirmed Adriene! My wife came home from her yoga in a studio and told me her yoga teacher watches you. Maybe it’s the reassurance, maybe it’s the calmness you exude, maybe it’s your personality and goofy jokes, maybe it’s because I know if I told you my 30 day challenge has not been 30 consecutive days but more like 50 or 60 sporadic days, that you’d be totally cool with it or maybe it’s because it seems to be the only place on the entire internet that commenters have nothing but positive things to say. I don’t know. I don’t care. You’ve earned whatever wealth (monetary and/or emotional) you are enjoying. Love what you do!!

      I think a lot of yoga instructors check out Adriene's videos, from my experience. It's all of the things you've said here but it's also the content--she is a very substantive, knowledgeable teacher so, frankly, they are copying her exercises as well as persona.

    After doing day 19, I felt like I didn't want to stop so I'm here.
    I didn't buy a yoga mat in the first because I didn't trust myself with being persistent so I was doing it on a blanket. Now I'm on day 20 and writing this comment on my yoga mat :)

    Thanks felt good to work out. Is day 20 and we only have 10 days left :( This has become my morning ritual. I get out of bed make coffee, do dishes while coffee is brewing, drink coffee and walk around the house with my yoga matt and finally turn Yoga With Adriene on! It's helped me stop smoking.

    I love when you tell us to "take up space." In daily life I often find myself shrinking down to take up as little space as possible. It feels so freeing to reach out as far as I can!

    GUYS I just did a sitting forward fold stretch and kinda just casually wrapped my fingers around the soles of my feet and it took me a full 3 seconds to react and realize that those are MY hands and MY feet and they're somehow touching and I had to stop the video to tell whoever is reading this because OH MY GOODNESS WHAT HOW WHEN DID THIS BECOME A THING?! I'm so excited it's ridiculous xD

    Getting up early for 20 days and feeling so good. I swear my mood is better and my heart is happier. Happy baby makes me laugh. Holding a plank makes me think "oh yessss" (impossible 20 days ago) . Happy baby = happy me. Namaste Adriene, you are the best

    I really didn't feel like doing yoga this morning so I read lots of everyone's comments for encouragement and then I was totally ready for it. Thank you all!!
    I also bought a pair of snazzy flowery leggings yesterday as I am new to yoga and have been so far practicing in a holey pair of thermal underleggings :p So here I was, inspired by you all on my mat, and one of the first thing Adriene says is "you don't need yoga leggings". LOL! Well Adriene, I am a committed Yogi now and I have snazzy leggings to prove it :D:D

    you dont know how important this is to me but I TOUCHED MY TOES TODAY WHILE BENDING FORWARD COMPLETELY. It was perfect. It felt amazing.     Not sure if anyone is still on this video in 2020 but I find myself on Instagram feeling so discouraged looking at women with perfect bodies in ridiculous poses. I SO appreciate Adriene’s FIND WHAT FEELS GOOD mantra. I know I have a long way to go but I feel so much better being guided by someone who is nonjudgmental and supportive of every level. Thank you adriene! And anyone else out there you’re not alone!

    I've been dealing with stress and anxiety lately and wanted to get started with yoga again, because I know it helps me soooo much with obtaining that inner calm. I just didn't know where to start. I get stressed out at most modern yoga classes and a lot of yogis on youtube are way to fitness oriented for me.
    You were just what I needed! Your focus on connecting the body and mind and your warm personality is amazing! After 20 days with you I don't get panic attacks anymore and I'm starting to feel happy again. I can't thank you enough Adriene! Sorry for the long post though - I'm just imensely greatful!

    Sinus pain and congestion was killing me... I was literally a mouth-breather for just about two minutes in...This session was better than any medication!!! I am now breathing from both nostrils and couldn’t be happier that I didn’t let a cold stop me! Thanks a million Adriene for being an awesome and amazing person!!! ❤

    I think this lovely girl is the most empathetic person I've ever come across. When Adriene gives a gentle reminder to draw my attention to where it's needed, my inner voice answers back with a 'oh, right', or 'thank you'. It's a little piece of magic every time.

    I'm doing the 30 days over again and finding that I am so much stronger!! Since New Year, I've committed to a series of new habits, forming my daily schedule, and they've all stuck! Your program really has changed my life. My mood is steady and positive. My body is stronger and more tone. My anxiety is lessened because of the connection I now have with my body and breath. I feel like I have access to a more deliberate, loving and patient me. I could on and on. Many thanks dear Adriene. No one else has inspired me to commit to yoga. Right time, right teacher!

    I’m so glad I’ve stuck to this. Most of my chronic back pain from my endo is nearly gone and I feel energized after each day. And today was the first time my heels touched the floor in downward dog. Even if tomorrow I can’t I know that I can now! I could feel my towel the last couple days tickling the soles of my feet so I was hoping.
    My mom always found yoga healing, but I never listened to her with it and now I get why. Wish I could share it with her since she passed just before lockdown.

    I absolutely love that I have found your channel...I am currently doing your 30 days series from 7 years ago and plan on continuing through the next 30...I have horrible osteoarthritis in both knees but the modifications have helped me take part of this wonderful yoga practice.     It's crazy to me that there are only 10 days left. I'm not too sad because I know that Adriene has plenty of other videos to keep me active haha. I'm proud of myself for sticking with my commitment for this long and being happy about it because it is one thing to begrudgingly and spitefully keep a promise and another thing entirely to joyfully and excitedly maintain a habit. The fact that I am a part of the latter is a great feeling.

      I think it's very important to focus and take our time when doing such poses...when I decide to stop half way thru to the kitchen and get down and do crow, I can't, but when I breathe and focus it helps immensely x

    I never liked yoga, but one of Adriene's videos popped up on my suggested feed during quarantine and now here I am 20 days in to this beautiful journey. My practice with Adriene is the best part of my day, and I feel so proud and accomplished after each video. Adriene- you are such a beautiful soul thank you so much for teaching me the patience that comes with yoga I am so so grateful to have come across this channel!

    this is my 3rd attempt through this challenge, and i dont think i made it past day 10 the first 2 times. now im at day 20?? i truly didnt know i could get this far, but the biggest difference this time around is that i allowed myself to take days off (doing my best to not be angry at myself). also, even taking days off and finding easier practice has been helpful too. being patient with myself has gotten me further than i imagined it would. thank you, adriene, for giving me the resources to better myself

    So this is my second time doing 30 days of yoga and thank you so much for your Inspirational amazing yoga practice Adriene! I started at 220 constantly getting sick, blood pressure through the roof and stressed out. With your practices I'm down almost 30 lbs my life has balance and your practices gave me the keys I needed to de stress and decompress and set an intention for my day. My doctor saw me a couple of days ago and couldn't believe the transition. We're now on a plan to slowly get me off my meds completely and couldn't believe my blood test results they were stellar for the first time in a long time I have you to thank Adriene thank you so much 😊!

    BRRR! There is a light coat of frost covering everything. It appears as though a child has completed some grand glittery art project as the sun came up this morning. An orchestra of birds sing as if to get my attention while they fluff their feathers to stay warm. They seem happy to be home and looking forward to the promises of spring. Having coffee outside listening to a concert preformed just for me, gives me hope that spring promises to come. What it is promising I am not sure, but I have this feeling I am being told it is time to feel and appreciate the joys of life again. My body is feeling better Thanks to our "Yoga journey" and my head is slowly following along. Thank you Adriene!

    Your final words made me giggle today! Great way to end my practice and start my day. I cant thank you enough for these 20 days Adriene. I really feel a difference in myself and in my body. Was able to stay in hero today for longer than i ever have. I was even a rebel and stayed in it for the rest of the practice. I find it hard to do that. I'm always one to follow the rules and not always listen to my body because I'm so strict and anal about things but through this practice and from practicing with you for 7 months now i can finally hear what my body is trying to tell me on the mat and in my everyday life.     One thing that really feels yummy to me is after Shavasanah sat still and meditative, feeling good inside out and reading all the positive comments. I can't get up straight after.. everything is slower :) The satisfaction of getting better day by day gradually putting the work in is something else. Thank you Adriene, every day is different and I like every day!

    Day 204 (part 2) of the current run. I'm really liking the moving meditation parts - it reminds me of high level forms from back when I was studying Tae Kwon Do, when they became something other than practice combat. For the fun time I spent some time doing a shoulderstand and inching towards a straightlegged plow pose. Very small inches.

    On Day 23 of OPEN, I love this practice as it’s the one workout for this senior yogi that starts slow, builds with a lovely repeating sequence , getting stronger then slowly chills to the end .... beautiful. It’s a great half hour workout which suits me fine ! 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💞

    Hi Adriene, I just wanted to thank you for this incredible series. I had never practised yoga until last month but now I can't imagine a day without it. I actually paused the video today before you mentioned it because I didn't want to leave Hero Pose! It was the first time I had ever felt so connected with my breath when meditating, almost as though nothing else existed.     Thanks to my alarm cat, I really needed this practice today. I focused on synchronizing my breath to movement and was calmer by the end. Not an easy task since the offending feline was rolling around on my mat and gently placing his paw on my shoulder during the opening sequences.

    Currently from the future!
    During this lockdown, I haven't found much to look forward to but when I started to do Adrienes 30 Days of Yoga that all changed! I just finished on my porch while watching the sun set. I highly encourage you guys to do your yoga outside! ( If it's warm). Is anyone else also struggling to touch the mat with their heels or is it just me?

    So today I was feeling really low energy, work was really emotionally challenging these past couple of days, but I made a commitment to myself to do this every day this month so I got on the mat in my bathrobe even though I really wanted to sit on the cough and drink too much coffee, trying to make myself feel more like myself. By the end of the practice I felt a lot better and I started thinking about how I do yoga even when I want to get the day started and go through my to do list and run around.
    So yoga evens me out- calms and slows me down when I need it, and brightens and awakens me when I need it. The perfect medicine.

    I sometimes wonder if you are in the room with me! The moment you said we shouldn't be waiting for the next move I was doing exactly that :) And the breathing in heroes' pose really did change my (somewhat cranky) mood. Freaky how you seem to know what I'm doing all the way on the other side of the big pond and in a different time zone.

    My husband and I, ages 68 and 70, started this version of 30 days of Yoga during the stay home order. I had been doing Yoga off and on for 50 years (not well, I might add) but my husband had never done it. Although we had to modify several poses, we have really been enjoying Adriene and these workouts! Thanks!

    What a wonderful way to start the morning! It feels good to be doing yoga pretty much every day again. Tending to body, mind, and spirit! I forget how much deep breathing helps. Normally I don't take the time to do so because sometimes focusing on my breath stresses me out. But hey! I'm learning, and that's what's important. Thank you for sharing! ❤

    I'm also from Ohio, also found your videos in December, and I'm having a truly wonderful January thanks to you Adrienne! It's amazing that 20 days have gone by - I could never have imagined I could do this. You have given me the freedom to see life with an eye to #choosemyownadventure , to #staycurious and to listen to my body with love and kindness. 9 years after breast cancer I look forward to turning 47 in February and I am profoundly grateful for you and your gifts!

    Day 20 ✔️ Hi friends! I had to recently adjust my yoga schedule to mornings instead of nights accommodate my day, and I was legit bummed for missing my usually scheduled practice. But then I remembered that this kind of thinking has actually set me up for a lot of failures in the past, because instead of going for excellence, I was going for perfection. Just like how I learned from these videos that it's not about hitting the poses perfectly, but rather doing the most mindfully best you can, I realized that I have to unlearn this. Whenever I feel like I start doing things because I have to versus because I want to, it's so easy to lose interest and look for ways to sabotage myself since "the resistance" in our brains make it that much more difficult. There was this quote I read somewhere that: "giving up on your goal because you had a setback is like slashing the other three tires because you got a flat" really resonated with me. Adjust, but don't stop (heyyoo)! Haha, keep it going friends! 🙏

      I just had to stop this practice because I was feeling faint and I needed to lie down. I was reading the comments and feeling rather bummed about myself and everything.     Day 20 coincided with Christmas Day for me. And yes, I chose to continue my practice and 'get on the mat' as you are often telling us (I am doing your 30 day challenge some 11 months late but it doesn't matter). This particular day was beautiful for a stormy, rainy Christmas Day here in the subs tropical coast of Australia. Thank you again, Adriene !

    what a blissful practice! so good for my heart. actually felt heartbroken and started the practice in tears. and then just three minutes later I started to breathe again and now feel much Much better.     so i couldn’t do my yoga yesterday bc i was at my cousin’s so i did yesterday’s and today’s yoga today. i liked these yogas, i’ve just been sooo tired and frustrated all day and feeling kinda sick. but thank you ❤️❤️

    I was having such a bad day today, I did not think I was going to be able to get through the video. 10 minutes in I found that all my anger and frustration had gone away and I began to tear up. This is exactly what I needed to feel better.

    Really LOVE all your practices. I've been doing yoga since 7th grade but recently i've grown back to loving it. Being in college sometimes puts a lot of stress on me which makes me have headaches and sometimes I just need a day off. Doing these practices makes me feel more relaxed and alive. Thank you so much !!

      Yes, me too, but I just bite the bullet and leave them off, hoping I can hear rather than see, stops the twist in the neck trying to see the screen!

      Hahaha same! Happened to me even in Yoga Class! My Instructor was so kind to pick them up during downward dog because I could kick them away when proceeding into a lunge 😂😂😂

      Anyone having this problem, go to your optometrist and get your glasses adjusted around your ears, they should not be able to fall off. I have no issues doing yoga with my glasses on because I got them adjusted about a gazillion times 😊

    My wife and I started Adriene's absolute beginner's session and did that for seven days. We're now on Day 19 of the 30 Day Challenge and we are absolutely loving it. We are 'of a certain age' but feeling the benefits in terns of flexibility, strength and stamina, although we were't exactly unfit to start with! The best thing to come out of lockdown beyond doubt and a joy to practice each morning. Thanks Adriene for being an inspiration!

    I noticed how much more flexible I'm getting, I can finally touch my toes when I'm bending over and when I'm doing forward fold while sitting down. It's amazing how much of a difference 20 day of yoga have on my mind and body.

    i have real problems with downward facing dog because my hands get sweaty and slide on the mat. any tips? so frustrating..

      Try putting a towel over the mat!Also press your thumbs and forefingers to the ground for ballance and always keep your heels pressing towards the ground.

      Same! I always have clammy hands lol. I keep a longer hand towel rolled up in my mat, so I always have it nearby during yoga. Sometimes I only need to put my fingers on it and keep my palms on the mat, sometimes it's the whole hand.

    Hero's pose was a fantastic suggestion because skateboarding has ruined my ankles and sitting on them is very uncomfortable.
