I bought my girlfriend an Audi RS5 B8.5 which was crash damaged from auction. Ive been rebuilding it over the past month and today its under gone a huge transformation! I started the modifications today which have really transformed it. Let me know what you think on the modifications. Will @HannahSmith like them?

The audi front suspension pinch bolt is the equivalent of the shadow area in the lion King. "You must never go there" 😂.

Dont wrap it, give it a full paint correction the stock paint looks mint when fully polished out 👍🏼

@@harrislondon Wasnt it just the replacement parts painted? Plus look at the state of the paint in the video scratches and swirls everywhere. It needs a detail for sure
@@harrislondon I know a detailer who details brand new cars you will be surprised at the defects he finds. Only front end painted

As for the alloys, I think multi spoke diamond cut alloys.👌

No the stock wheels are ugly and look like cheap plastic there’s another oem wheels that you can get that my dad have on his rs4 that look really good

@@trigsretromotors yes agreed, my wife's 4 series has front tints, and they a slightly smoked, I hate driving it at night, to dark, go knows what the front screen would be like.

Keep it stealth! Wrap the mirrors, rear bumper trim and get some black MA wheels 👌🏻

If you change wheels keep them silver or diamond cut and keep the silver mirror caps, breaks it up and looks mega
Amazing transformation. Wish I had your skills when I had my brand new black RS5 with red leather interior. Awesome car.
Tinting the headlights isn't the best thing since it takes away light output. Taking the headlight lenses off and painting the chrome bits on the inside of the housing black is the right and safe way to do it.
That actually also takes light output away since it reduces the reflections coming from the back of the bulb
Surly none of them tints are legal, will be getting pulled over every time they are seen no doubt...
@@jmsterdam it is fine for projectors like the audi has because the light comes from the projector. For reflector based housings you are absolutely correct.

I've been debating getting some of the Maxton parts for my RS5 and now I really want them, thanks for using them on this beautiful car.
I am blown away Matt...I have the same vehicle just a left hand drive. I have been wanting the Maxton Design splitter, sides and diffuser so I am all over that for my 2022 update. Hope it's easy to get here in the US. On the mirrors get the carbon fiber skins...I just gloss blacked my stock wheels. Not a lot out there for the RS5 on wheels...interesting with the spacers. Rotiform makes some sick wheels for it. I often comment looks like the wheels are under my car...my car is slammed so not sure I could do spacers. I literally waited to watch all 5 of your videos at one time like a TV show. Keep up your great work a big fan!! I learn a lot...chrome delete tape for our VW here next. I am after a new project now! Best.
Looks really good 👍 Only things I'd have done differently is kept chrome Audi rings on front and rear.
Just as well you had the MOT done recently, that front windscreen tint is asking to be pulled over!
Yep that's my first thought too! The police will pull the driver over for the front windscreen tint!

Mat you forgot to wrap the grey line that runs on top of the rear splitter, also paint the diffuser gloss black to match the front 👍 looking really nice though
RS5 Looks mean now! Suggest keeping it blacked out but how about a loud but classy colour if you decide to wrap it? A colour only fast, high end cars can get away with.
Should do the mirrors black, and the chrome stripe on the diffuser black aswell :D also get some sick black rims with it will look amazing! dont wrap it is my opinion!

Looks awesome, sinister and stealthy! Don’t wrap it, like others have commented it just needs a good paint correction and detail.
Keep the wheels as they are. They blend with the little chrome around the rear diffuser ash's the cleanliness of the headlights.

Full detail and paint correction is what you need. Looking great as it is with the black. Next up is surely an Audio build for it!?

I'd honestly leave the mirror caps the way they are, it's usually the distinction between the A's and the S's and RS's, as for wrapping the car it's a tricky one, would ideally need to photoshop it prior to see if it'll look decent but with the Maxton design extras being gloss black it'll either look sick with a wrap and those pieces being black or not, wheels definitely need changing up, not massively though but considering you dechromed the chrome window surrounds then it wouldn't hurt to black out the rims.

Mat have a full alignment after this as mine suffers with some horrendous camber and toe issues after a 40mm drop.. love your channel you two are brilliant!

I know this car doesn’t excite you much probably because of your past with your S5. But keep in mind this is a totally different beast and what you have done so far makes it look mint and classy. I am glad you didn’t delete the side mirrors and with stock rim matching it really sets off the stealth black. I feel about this car the same way you feel about your Lamborghini. They do have the same DNA 🧬 lol. As always excellent work

carbon mirrors and gloss black wheels. maybe change the color of the caliper because i feel like they don’t really pop right now but if they were light blue or red or yellow maybe even lime green they would def stand up

Looking at upgrading to this from my B8 A5. At what mileage do think is too high. I see a lot between 80-100K. Lower mileage ones are more expensive above my $40K budget

15 front, 12 rear for the RS5 B8.5 - you will now run into rubbing issues on the front arch liner - there is a nipple that rubs on the tyre. Take another look - mostly noticeable at full lock Matt.
