That and I wouldn't have put it past them to somehow maintain the error -- Super7 maintained a similar error when reusing a mold despite knowing about it like four years in advance.
One can say that we already have one, since the original SG Megs shares a body type with Energon Megs. That said, I'd of course love to see a bona-fide remake of him.
i definetly prefer the g1 cartoon colors because i always thought g1 toy and comic colors looks goofy and colorful , it kinda make him less menacing as decepticon leader

Having just spent time looking at and researching this model, I decided this was my favourite version. In robot and cannon it looks better. Love the space cannon look of this one. It is a shame about the paint rub. I might put a blob of enamel on there. Will make it tighter but safer. Great run through. Always love your passion for it.
Just got this guy in today and I love him! This is reminiscent of the old G1 toy that I had growing up so he holds a special place. I am eagerly anticipating mass release version showing up in my Stack one day, but this guy is just great.
I'll say this about the stickers: I put on some but not all, like the main chest piece and the two red shoulder stickers, and I think it's good there. EXCELLENT REVIEW! Thank you!!!
The picture you showed of the stickers applied to the figure looks 1000 times better than any of the official ones I've seen. They looked like a newborn calf had applied them! This one actually looks pretty sick tbf

I rather like both versions. I'm most used to the purple cartoon colour scheme, but I really appreciate toy-accurate designs. I wish they'd do more vintage-toy-accurate looks, to be honest.
I really like the white comic version of Galvatron, I think it looks way cooler. The movie version is fine as well, but yeah, I'm gearing toward the white comic version.
I prefer movie colors original Galvatron but the online images do not do this grey and purple version justice imo. I like the darker purple, a Galvatron with all that darker tone would look really cool.
He looks good. I think he look a lot better with out the stickers. I'm interested to see what the last galvatron for this mold (the reformating one) will compare. After watching this video i might have to pick this one up I was going to pass on it but with out the stickers this looks pretty good.
It is great to see that this version of the recent Galvatron figure has his arms up much higher compared to the original where they were much lower for whatever reason! I do wish the red parts were actually just plastic, and not paint since pegging them in over, and over scrap the paint off over time, and I also wish the stickers were just 3-D prints as I too hate stickers as well, I find them incredibly frustrating, and tedious to apply on, and they have an obnoxious tendency to wanna peel off which is just annoying, I mean, I get it's to give people options, but, I do wish that Hasbro could've find some way of giving consumers options without having to use stickers, that, and I wish they'd stop with the exclusives as it's only going to make getting a hold of these figures harder during the aftermarket. Otherwise, I think it's a great repaint! Personally for me, I think it depends on what the repaint is, and stuff. I think I might actually prefer this version of Studio Series Galvatron more! Really enjoyed the review too! :D

the only reason those Transformers Prime figures came with stickers was because darkness Megatron, Prime breakdown and jet vehicon we're only released in takara arms micro line which was known for its usage of stickers.
Does this Galvatron suffer from yellowing plastics? Many recent transformers figures have that problem. I know that legacy Galvatron has problems with yellowing plastics but i am not sure if this version is affected.
personally im glad they went with stickers because i think they make him look messy and I will not be applying them. I wish they had given him a new, crazy looking face to go with the over the top facial expressions he had in the comics. Missed opportunity.

Ive got both. Now the shoulder on the purple figure are just bothering me. Does anyone know if Hasbro is replacing them or doing a fix if it was ordered directly from Hasbro Pulse? Ive watched a few videos to fix the shoulders and I dont think I want to attempt that without wrecking the plastic around the shoulders....

Given that all the Kingdom Galvatrons after the first batch have had the shoulders fixed, I think we can forget about that issue for good.

I'm sticking with the Kingdom version. But it would be nice if they took this mold and made a Straxus/Darkmount figure out of it in the near future.

Hasbro should have made the eyes yellow to match the comic and to pop out more against the dark grey face.

Keeping Kingdom for alt mode but this will be my robot mode Galvie! And yes, I'll be adding some of the stickers but probably not all.

I love them both but I was only able to get his recolor which is weird as the purple color is difficult to get.

I think they've fixed the shoulder on later batches of the regular Galvatron too now. I've seen a couple in stores with shoulder fixed.
I agree. Stickers on Transforming figure are the worst... That is ONLY reason I did not get Sixshot.

This revamp of the G1 toy is the best Galvatron you could own!

They missed the mark by not putting sparkles in the orange plastic of the barrel.
