Six Major Crises Hit China Simultaneously; CCP Initiates Money-Grabbing Mode

  • Some economists analyze that the Chinese government, from the central to the local levels, is facing significant fiscal deficits. The collapse of the real estate market has led to families being afraid to buy houses, businesses hesitating to invest, and people being unwilling to borrow money, creating a vicious cycle. If the government also refrains from borrowing at this time, the entire society could face systemic financial risks.
Regarding China's weak tax revenues, Taiwanese macroeconomist Henry Wu stated that "six crises have already erupted simultaneously" in China.

      - With stimulus and measures, China's debt will be at 400% to 500% of its GDP in the next decade, according to Reuters.
-Chinese 🇨🇳 property Ponzi sector, which accounts for 30% of GDP, is crashing
-Tofu Exports and Western imports, accounting for 37% GDP, are down.
-Foreign investment is falling over 90% compared to it's peak in 2018.
-Foreign visitors are down 96% compared to the pre-pandemic level in 2019 with less than 200 americans left.
-Consumer prices and pay are experiencing hyperstagdeflation while necessities are undergoing hyper flation.
-Youth unemployment hits over 21% (in reality 75%+ after eliminating faked numbers), a record.
-It's fast shrinking workforce is 10 years old than neighboring countries.
      - During the years 1990-2021, the US printed 6.5 time more money while China printed 147 times.
      - It has printed more money than the US and Japan combined, while it's economy is only half of them.
      - Current Chinese debt-to-gdp is already highest in the world, at 300%, according to Bloomberg.
      - This is a macroeconomic nightmare created by the party going way back in 1994 when they took the Tofu money off the international exchange. Now in 2024, the banks and the average little pink have no idea what is the ACTUAL value of anything within the country. Any stimulus from the Central state. will be meaningless and ineffectual because the Central Bank is a part of the Party. Thereby merging both fiscal Central and monetary private policies into one ongoing disaster. Local province officials were doing stimulus spending for decades in tandem of the "Economic Miracle" which will undermine any Central stimulus during an actual depression/recession or more accurately.. HYPERSTAGDEFLATIONARY NIGHTMARE.
-- in the future house prices will drop to 10%, youth unemployment will be over 90%+ without streams, and middle class people over 35 will all be laid off with pays trimmed in half.
How will you do in a country where real estate companies, local governments, and banks across China have crashed or fled? That is your challenge for the future (will you own a trash house with the mortgage?). Pensions will be laundered and your daily pay will be 1-2 dollars while you drink Poop Water and eat gasoline cooking oil while the Party and Porkpooh eat Tegong Special food supplies.

Is getting use to China motto " No short term pain no long term gain. Want to speculate in Property & Stocks be prepared to face losses. China's tough tax law is fair and currently in action is to close the loopholes by big companies and individuals to evade paying taxes and move their monies aboard. Its not related to Small & Medium Enterprises genuinely affected by geopolitical tensions and demand. Any gov would assist directly by granting tax subsidies, relief, lowering loan interests etc and boost domestic demand by giving cash vouchers to families. Rapid automation may have reduced job opportunities. Hence it would be interesting to see China speeding up its infrastructure projects to connect the rural areas ie Migrating back youngsters to modernise its rural area.

And CCP control over any legal Chinese journalism is absolute. If you look at any non-illegal Chinese-originated data or media it would seem that it's all flourishing. Too many people use official data because it's easy and still belive CCP lies, and others are forced or intimidated to believe them. CCP has silently infiltrated the top brass of major corporations including media and government and applies pressure to downplay or conceal the truth. They are also not above straight up threats to journalists. Just look at what happened with the Olympic doping scandal. China was aquitted without much elaboration and the people who tried to shine light on it are being shushed

Not if lower restaurant revenue is due to people having less money to spend on food, period...On average, the people who spend a lot of money eating out also spend more money on grocery stores than the people who spend the least on food, at the end of the day. _(They might purchase less of their meal calories from grocery stores, but they purchase more expensive calories overall.)_
In my case, for example: The years where I spent the most money at restaurants were the same years I spent the most on grocery stores. The years I never ate out were the years I spent the least on groceries. Right now, I'm so poor I haven't eaten out in years. I also spend so little on groceries. I can't afford candy or ice cream or any treats, and I have to purchase the cheapest products possible. Restaurants might have been the first expense I cut out of my food budget, but it wasn't enough...I have to spend less on groceries, too.
Yes, there are going to be people who eat out so much and spend so little at the grocery store that when they stop eating out, they are forced to start spending so much more on groceries, they increase grocery store revenue & profits. However, that doesn't make up for all the people who also start spending less on groceries overall.
Remember that people who begin purchasing more of their food from grocery stores don't automatically begin spending more money on grocery stores...if they also begin purchasing less expensive food. Even if someone keeps purchasing the exact same products (and doesn't change their diet at all), but switches from purchasing the most expensive versions to the cheapest versions, that massively drops revenue and profits. You have to think about the kinds of things people are purchasing at grocery stores, because the profit margins among the products are not equal.
We have to remember all the different ways revenue *and* profits can drop. Customers can simply buy less things and pay less money over all, but they can also start buying items with lower profit margins. They can screw specific grocery stores by seeking out different ones for lower prices...and if enough customers do this, then grocery stores are forced to either close or lower their profit margins themselves by lowering their prices in order to keep customers.
Imagine for a moment if literally everyone in your city switched to eating ramen for every single meal. Obviously this would _immediately_ drop restaurant revenue to $0 and restaurants would be the first to be forced to close, becoming the first and most obvious victim for the need to report on...but it would also drop grocery store revenue and profits. (Especially the grocery stores which don't specialize in poor people buying large amounts of very cheap food.) Even if one of your grocery stores somehow still received the same amount of revenue from how much ramen their customers purchased, their profits would still drop because their profit margins on ramen are lower.
      /End Ramble sorry 😅✌️

China relies on the purchases of those countries with which they trade. When many parts of the world have inflation driving the consumers into poverty, you can hear the door slamming on purchases, often whether they are necessary or not. Since China isn't getting orders now, according to another video, many manufacturers and retailers are having to shut their doors and lay off workers. Our world is run by debt and consumerism. In the U.S., it is said that 75% of the government revenue comes from consumers. It is obvious that when a contraction sets in due to the big businesses grabbing more than their share, there is only one outcome. Both inflation will continue, and governments will raise the tax levels. We the consumer get squeezed like lemons while industry starts to implode.

    • @riverlady982
      @riverlady982 Месяц назад

If the US is a Pyramid Scheme it's only because of the people who keep voting to give the government more power so they have the power and ability to restructure it as a Pyramid Scheme with them and their Company Donors at the top. It's also why the state's were given the right to govern themselves and are allowed to say no to laws that the government passes or tries to. It's not a Pyramid scheme yet but it is definitely heading in that direction if we don't stop re-electing people who become millionaires and billionaires while sitting in a public servants seat that doesn't make anywhere near enough for that a year in salary. Anytime they claim they can fix something but saying 'if' or 'but we need you to give us this power to do it' just say, "absolutely not" and things will be work themselves out. The truth is that most things in America that are broken, or at least don't work well at all, are that way because Senator's or voters handed the people in government the power to do those things and if you hand somebody the power/tool to fix something you also hand them the power/tool to break something. They're even very likely the people with the power/tools that broke it and they're now coming to you looking for more power/tools saying that's what they'll need to fix it because they just want more power/tools but as I said if they had the power/tool to break it then they already have the power/tool to fix it but are banking on people being scared and/or dumb enough to hand them more power. Xi Jingping broke their economy when he used his power and encouraged those with power bellow him to abusively use it in order to force every Foreign Owned Company out of China and constantly haras the rest into leaving. He believed that they could do it all themselves and better while keeping 100% of all profits for China while mistakenly believing that people all over the world trusted the Made In China mark on products. When the truth was is that the only reason any of us trusted products marked Made In China is because we could look up whether or not it was a company owned by non-Chinese Corporations and those were the only ones who were ever trusted at all and even those were looked at with constant skepticism. They're whole country is a Pyramid Scheme just like Russia, North Korea, and every other country Communist country based on Marxist Ideology and the rest of us need to be careful not to vote ourselves into the same horrible rat trap.
