    I wish Broussard had his own show. He is basically the only guy on Fox who doesn't have a huge bias. For whatever reason everyone has to be on the extreme end of how much they hate or like a guy. I don't know if it is a hot take thing to get attention, but Broussard is really the only guy on the network who talks basketball facts with no bias.

      Michael Martin It wouldn't work if he talks all facts. Hot take guys bring in an audience and while you and I might prefer it, being really into basketball, the casual fan wouldn't find it interesting enough.

      odam 56 or when russ shot them out the game as he played hero ball in the fourth. bench might've lost lead, but for the most part it was a close game to start the 4th. in one game they were up 2 or 3. and in one game, they went on a 5 minute scoring drought (with russ in the game). but hey, lets only blame his team mates.

    How 'bout the same argument Colin used vs. Westbrook in the previous segment to this one. Allen Iverson made it to the finals with the "help" that you listed. In, as Colin stated, a "tougher" NBA. While Paul has had far more talent surrounding him. Chris Paul is very very good, but he's not a carrier.

    • @jamesblack85
      @jamesblack85 7 лет назад +1

      The difference between Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook is Chris Paul performs better in the playoffs. Russell didn't have much help but he shot 35% from the field and even worst from 3. Chris Paul is a 50/40/90 guy in the playoff.

      Ubong If you look at his career, he's a top 3 point guard, pretty much behind only Magic and Oscar. His stats on each side of the floor, how efficient he is, how much better he makes his teammates, his versatility are all ridiculous. There's not a single thing on the basketball court he does that's average. Dude is arguably a more complete player than LeBron.

    • @jamesblack85
      @jamesblack85 7 лет назад +1

      Zero accomplishments? He's had 2 of the greatest seasons for a pg in NBA history. He's by far the best pg to ever do it in terms of assist to to ratio. He's made a multitude of all nba defense teams, all nba teams, all star teams, has led the nba in assist and steals on a number of occasions as well. Anyone who says CP3 isn't a top 5 pg oat doesn't know basketball and how to separate team success from individual success.

    • @jamesblack85
      @jamesblack85 7 лет назад

      CP3 has no weaknesses as a player except for the fact that he is 6 feet tall. He doesn't struggle at the line and from 3 like Lebron does. He's also a terrific shooter unlike Lebron. Now he's certainly not as good of a player but he's definitely as complete of a player as Lebron.

    • @jamesblack85
      @jamesblack85 7 лет назад

      LMAO. There is no one that looks at Sir Charles and think he's not a legendary player. No one that actually knows basketball that is. The simple fact is not every legend wins a ring. If they did what would be the value of a ring?
      How far a team makes it in the playoff is a team accomplishment. No one player wins a playoff series. The only thing that a player can truly control is his performance in the playoffs and CP3 as a player does not play worst in the playoffs. It's not like Westbrook where he misses 65% of his shots. Chris Paul is 20/10 in the playoffs. His teams just haven't been that good compared to the teams he's lost to.

    @briancromartie1959 7 лет назад +1

    The thing about chris Paul is isn't the team kinda built around him perfectly. He's a ball dominant pass first point guard. So let's give him a fantastic catch and shoot 2 guard and two big men that are great at catching lobs and putting it in. Throw in Blake Griffin as a secondary scorer and Jordan as a defensive rim protector. And Crawford as a go to scorer off the bench? Sounds like Chris Paul's wet dream to me

  • @josephskinner1516
    @josephskinner1516 7 лет назад

    CP3 is a throwback point guard who needs the "right" pieces around him to affect the game. Let Blake move on. Bring in Melo. Add a serviceable stretch 4. Acquire a quality bench 5 and rotating 2's that can defend. You might have something for Chris to work with.

    For the series OKC was +15 with Westbrook on the floor, without Westbrook on the floor they were -58....... Y'all can try to blame Westbrook but any true unbiased NBA fan knows it wasn't his fault!! Oladipo paid like a superstar yet imo he's one of the most overrated players in the league & can Roberson hit a god damn free throw please? 😂

    • @ehernandez515
      @ehernandez515 7 лет назад +7

      Not saying Roberson or Oladipo are good players, but Westbrook did NOTHING to make them better players. He's their leader and he doesn't help them become better. LeBron spent the entire season trying to get players and make them fit in and give them roles, James Harden got shooters and made sure they were always set up to hit shots. Russ kept chasing TD's and now his team doesn't know how to play other than "Lets pass it to Russ"

    • @thadcampbell962
      @thadcampbell962 7 лет назад +1

      Edward Hernandez But have you seen there roster? More than half the players either can't shoot or can't defend, take Westbrook off that team they're maybe a 20 win team. I mean when Westbrook is on the floor they're outscoring there opponents so how's it his fault? It's the coaches just to put the players in the best position when Westbrook needs to rest & he obviously didn't do that cause they got outscored by 58 in just 5 games.

    • @ehernandez515
      @ehernandez515 7 лет назад +1

      Thad Campbell To be honest, they aren't bad defensively. But leaders make their teams BETTER, he doesn't do anything to make them better. But he does share that blame with Scott Brooks for not being a disciplined coach either. Regardless, it's a players league. Westbrook needs to be more self aware and learn to set up his teammates, help them learn their roles and stop shooting 30ft 3's with 18 sec left on the shot clock. Because that doesn't help his team.

    You can tell Colin doesn't watch anyone outside of Lebron. He holds on to stereotypes & knocks from earlier in peoples career & no matter how much they imrpoved he holds onto. Blake has improved his mid range jumper tremendously, & is a real threat from there now.

    Chris Paul is an amazing point guard. He's been unbelievable in this series. Not his fault Blake Griffin is soft as Charmin and can't shoot, DJ can't make a free throw or a shot outside two feet, and Doc Rivers refuses to get a legit small forward for the sixth year in a row...

  • @unguidedreaper7763
    @unguidedreaper7763 7 лет назад

    Sorry but Doc Rivers is in trouble if they don't win. CP3 is too valuable to release. Then again they could release Blake and get a PF that has that traditional PF style that works with CP3 and Jordan rather than keep getting hurt and disrupting the chemistry of the team.

  • @brainlapses

    Chris Paul shows up every playoff series it's just his team that rarely does.. plus I think the clippers don't have the right team to win.. they need a SF and maybe an athletic SG might help. plus the bench could maybe get upgraded a little but CP3 is defiantly not responsible for their misfortunes

  • @bilalabbasi8445
    @bilalabbasi8445 7 лет назад

    saying CP3 has help is a little bit of an overstatement. Blake Griffin averages 3 and a half points in the 4th quarter. That's a bucket and a free throw. Deandre is a over rated player who wouldn't average more than 4 points if it wasn't for CP3. JJ can play, but he can't play defense. Jamal is a JR kind of player. He can go out one night and score 30, but can also go 0-10 on any given night. CP3 has been amazing in this first round, but he isn't a Lebron. He can't carry the team on his shoulders completely. This Jazz team is great, and the defense makes it difficult. CP3 needs to go to a team where he has another proven 4th quarter scorer and a great defensive system.

    D'Antoni's offense requires good (more importantly, quick) decision-making. RWB has never been a good decision maker. His mind is set before each play develops, "next trip I'm going to drive and dish"... "the following trip I'm going to shoot a three off the screen" He plays at one speed all the time, which is both a blessing and a curse.
